Retro style is fashionable in many areas, one can buy retro cars, clothes, furniture even wallpaper.
Lovers of nostalgic styles will be happy to note that EE have now launched their retro internet package. With EE "Broadband" you can now experience the internet as it was in the good old 1990's with abysmal download speeds and repeated dropped connection for seemingly no reason what so ever. hurrah I hear you say, for how long has the word buffering been missing from our lives. The excitement of waiting for a simple email to open, the near stalling of your connection when six o'clock approaches. Its all back with EE's internet package unfortunately they seem to have missed out the old 56k dialling tone which is a shame but otherwise its the complete experience of historical internet access.

I work away so before swapping ISP I explained to the salesperson I would not be in to receive the router or complete the DLM test (I was assured it would fit through my letterbox) and DLM could be done later. A month later I got home to find it in my bin. After hooking it up I noticed it was very slow 0.572kbps so I called them up, no joy except leave it on for 10 days, I had already explained I could not do this as I switch off the power when I leave. So xmas leave comes along I have 2 engineer visits who both assure me my line is ok and my IP profile is banded as the power was off when they checked my line... Exactly the same as with my last ISP who fixed it in one phonecall, now its my last week of leave (the only time I'm home for more than a weekend) and they have finally decided to cancel my contract but I would rather sit at home with an unusable xbox one and smart tv than be associated with this disgrace of a company. I actually resent using my EE mobile now as its perfect...

The speed dropped by far than half since I joined EE ( I was with Talktalk)I was sold this package with discount because I am orange mobile customer. Now I know I made a huge mistake when I joined EE. I am very disappointed with this broadband. I never had any problem with my land line in 8 years since I am with EE this service is a nightmare. My warning is be wise and stay away from EE.

Absolutely the worst company ever. I was promised my broadband/phone package would be up and running 4th October. 19th October got my phone line and still had to wait for broadband. I called everyday for a month trying to sort. After 1 month could not get my old telephone back then was told I should have kept my old router from at least 5 years ago as they were not going to send another. Now it constantly goes offline, slowest I have ever had. Stay well clear.

This is the worst customer service encountered for a long time, possibly ever. If you have any problem with your Internet service from EE expect seriously bad service, particularly if it involves them having to work with BT to sort the issue out. Also, their attitude to one customer with one issue is appalling, although you might not initially realise you are just being fobbed off, at the time, you do so after a while, as you come to know you are getting nowhere in trying to get your problem sorted. EE are massively defensive about their service and I think they may have deluded themselves that it is acceptable. I would advise any prospective customer to be extremely cautious about using EE, because of the very bad experience I have had with them.

    Worst ever seen!
I signed one thing in the contract and they charge me another one...then I need to spend money to call them and try to correct theris mistakes.
Still waiting to receive my 10£ deposit back, which they said would be paid in the first 60 days of the account going live...

I have broadband and home 'phone from EE - When they first connected the phone line, I thought all was well, I was happily making calls and the BB although slower than anticipated was OK, after a week or so I did wonder why I wasn't receiving any calls and then a friend called my mobile to say that she couldn't get through on my landline.I contacted a barely comprehensible man on their technical service desk and eventually after a number of calls (don't believe them if they say they'll call you back) the problem was fixed.

3 months later the problem has returned but it is worse this time, if you call my telephone number the call is answered by a stranger, someone I don't know, they are presumably getting my voicemails as well. The ever unhelpful technical support agents have told me (again after a number of phone calls with uninformed time wasters - "Computer says NO") that to get it fixed I need to take a day off work for an engineer to visit my home.

I can make outgoing calls OK and the caller ID shows it is my number but having called my number I got to speak to a man who confirms that his number is not the number I dialled. This is so obviously a problem in the exchange or conceivably in the street cabinet, I don't know why I need to lose a days earnings for a 'phone repair that shouldn't require access to my home.

I am told that if I cancel my contract they will charge me £72, which for a service they can't provide seems ridiculous, actually it feels like theft.

Unless you are confidant that everything will be perfect with your EE products you be mad to have anything to do with this bunch of incompetents.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had or could ever imagine.
