Be-cartful, don't join this rubbish provider.
    Service is very bad.
No one knows what is going on.
It take forever to get connected. Costumer support is rubbish, waste of time.
Support is rubbish not technical knowledge.
    Communication is really bad.
No one can be bothered to update you.
All what they care about is getting money from you ASAP.
    Over all please avoid them.

If possible I wouldn't even give EE/Orange a single star for rating. the customer service is very poor. The staff are very rude when you speak to them. not only that, the staff lie. They say they will provide you with this that and the other however, they provide you with nothing. Th company gives customers false hope that they will try to help however all the do is speak and do nothing. I moved house and had very little to no reception. I called so that the company could do something about the signal. I WOULDN'T ADVICE ANYONE TO GO WITH THEM!

Very bad broadband. It keeps stopping. Do not choose this wifi. It sometimes cannot connect and the tips on the website do not help at all. Same with the customer service, they are very bad at communicating with us especially theI Irish or foreign staff.

I have been waiting since the day I recieved my router- for over a month- for EE to fix it as it's never worked. I've been passed around between Ahmed and Gourab and Raheem repeatedly. They tell me a higher tech team will be in contact, that never happens.
They diagnosed me with a line issue, now they tell me they need to diagnose it again, and for that I need to go out and pay for a landline phone to perform the tests myself again. They tell me that if they send an engineer who finds there's no line fault, they'll charge me £50-60 for the job. I told them I will eat them if they do this.
I've called them so many times now that I can tell you their entire 'on-hold' play list, which includes the likes of Katy Perry, Foo Fighters and Pixie Lott. I feel like Alex from a Clockwork Orange, with my eyes pinned back watching the horrors of terrible customer service and outsourcing.

Swapped to ee broadband recently from talktalk and saw an immediate increase of 2mbps, which is amazing for someone who was only getting 2Mbps to start with. The switch over was very easy with ee handling everything and the people on the phone gave me all the information I needed, had no problems getting in touch.
Overall I am very happy, especially since I enjoy online gaming and have seen a great increase in the quality of my games now throughout the day

I can't get over how pathetic EE is. Having it for my mobile phone, where I was promised 4G in my contract, I can actually never get. To be honest, I can't ever even get 3G and my signal is useless almost everywhere. I also have it for my home broadband and phone calls, where the speed is slow, and they often block websites that come to great use for me due to my education and personal hobbies. I'm getting really disgusted at the staff on the phone after asking why my internet is so slow and why there's often many errors with it, I've rang three times due to them not being able to understand what I'm saying, and putting me through to different members of staff on the phone and then I'm still getting no where. If anything, I'm lucky to even get to talk to them due to the horrendous signal I get. I live in an area where I got full bars for when I was with Sky and T-Mobile for my mobile. I recommend EE to absolutely no-one, not even my worst enemy!!! Not worth a penny, seriously. Don't bother wasting your money on this horrific company. You're better off with Sky or BT etc. At least then you get your moneys worth.

Customer sevice is shocking, i ordered fibre broadband in march, i was connected in april without any change to my speed, only getting 2 mbps download and 0.37 upload.I called cutomer service who took me through all the tests they could offer,i was told to wait for 48 hrs while they done checks, i called them back went through all the checks again, still no improvement, this carried on for 2 weeks i call them they say they are looking into it. I called to cancel but they kept putting me off by saying give it a month and we will get it sorted and they would not charge me for that month. I left it for just over a month, my download speed had increased to 9 mbps and upload 4 mbps, but they had guaranteed me 27 mbps download speed,i called customer service they again made me go through all the checks again, by now i'm just about sick of all the crap they keep giving me. I asked again to cancel, they told me i had left it longer than a month before i called them back and was told if i wanted to cancel i would have to pay them just over £250.00 or have a BT engineer visit, after being told that and already been let down 2 times before by BT, i tried my best to tell them i still wanted to cancel, their attitude on the phone stunk, they were very adament i had to pay the £250.00 or have the engineer visit. I opted again for BT to visit and was told if the engineer could not speed up my broadband, then i would have to wait for another month before i was entitled to cancel for free. This time i asked for an exact date to call them if i need to cancel. I am now waiting for BT to visit, i would still like to get the best speed but on the other hand i wish i could tell them where to shove it. PLEASE AVOID EE BROADBAND.

I cannot even rate EE, mainly due to their Customer service. They called me and offer me a very good deal, saying they would take over my current provider and everything will be done without me doing anything. I would keep my landline etc. This is two months later and I have been the one chasing them and finding so many errors that they have made. Their staff are very rude, hang up on me, and have installed a second line on my phone which I do not know about, do not have a number for while my previous provider has not been taken over. At 1 point I asked the rude customer service man if i had not made these calls I would have been paying two companies and he simply said yes. I can even express how unhelpful they are. But I would advise anyone wanting to join EE to please investigate this company thoroughly.

I signed up for EE broadband and promptly cancelled after reading the extremely poor reviews on this site.

I then read the reviews for Virgin, BT etc (which incidentally were just as bad!!) I decided that people probably only post bad reviews and do not bother with posting good reviews because they are satisfied and cannot be bothered to take the time.

I decided to jump back in s**t or bust and go for EE £2 a month unlimited broadband with free weekend calls.

I have to say that I am totally satisfied with the service I have received. EE communication about the process and ongoing communication about the installation was top notch.

I did intially have a problem with the speed of my broadband which was incredibly slow (the phone socket in my house was at fault) and so I had the chance to see how good EE were at sorting out problems. I would give them 100% in their efforts and their endless calls to me to deal with the problem. I even had a chance to speak with the call centre in India and found the tech guys there very helpful.

My broadband is now running smoothly and as I was previously paying £29 with BT for unlimited broadband (not even Infinity) along with their mandatory charge of £1.75 for their call waiting service, making a total of £31.75 per month I am now an extremely happy bunny with a yearly saving of roughly £350.

My speed now is equivalent to what I was receiving from BT on their bob standard BT Hub.

So peeps I would say to you take the plunge and give EE a go.

Never actually let the line went live because their pre-sales service was so bad.

    - First guy who 'sold' the deal to me gave me factually incorrect information.
    - The deal turned out not to be as advertised.
    - I spent over an hour on the phone trying to sort it.
    - Half the staff didn't know terms or general information about the service.
    - In the end I told them to cancel it because I don't trust they will deliver or that I won't continue to have these issues once the contract was signed.

    - Also I found out that even though I am on a 30 day contract for my mobile... apparently I can't drop my contract down a level... What's the bloody point then?

    SUMMARY
Thoroughly disappointed with the service from EE, might move my mobile service also as a result.

We have been using EE for more than a year and honestly I have always received quite good services from them. I'm surprised to see so many complaints as because I have none of them. Good speed, no network problem, well I'm satisfied. My company uses this broadband as well. My company requires an all time stable connection as we have to do a lot of research on properties, buyers, sellers and market. We need more of everything and EE provides it all for us. My company recommends it to other as well. Thank you EE!

Honestly havent experienced such poor service anywhere in fact they should be called Terrible Allthetime. Started the process to move from SKY to EE early April its June 4 and still on Sky... Oh, I had a letter stating what was going to happen next AFTER I had called to cancel and was talked round LOL (and given, well promised, £50 in M&S vouchers) they say they've tried to call me ??? all I can say is think before moving to EE. Ive heard the speeds are good and the product reliable but it is the disconnect between Ops and Sales that needs sorting out. Ill give it a week and then cancel and complain to OfTEL or whoever it is these days.

The worst service ever. It is not the first time that my broadband doesn't work, but it is the only company who bases its hotline in INDIA! Impossible to understand these people. Internet still does not work. It stopped 2.5 weeks ago. I talked more than 10hours in total with several Indian guys. No one could fix the problem. "start the router" "change your password"... same questions. zero improvement. Still no internet.

Awful speeds (2Mb download and 0.01 upload) and really horrendous customer service. They barely speak English, are not able to explain what they mean and make everything harder than it should be. Please, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. I am. Even if the speed isn't their fault, the bad customer service is their fault. I would rather get the same speed but decent service elsewhere.

The consistency of service provided by EE is absolutely shocking I get a better speed using my neighbours wifi than I do using my own, it's nearly as bad as the barley operating 3G service I receive on my 4g contract,
Sometimes the broadband is so poor I end up tethering my phone ( maybe that's why they gave me moor mobile data)
Do yourself a favour and don't bother with these muppets

I have to say I am surpirsed by all the negative comments below. I took the home broadband from EE when I upgraded on my mobile contract. Customer service was fantastic, router was delivered on time and trackable, activated on the correct date and have received very consitant 7.7Mbps via WiFi ever since. Could not be happier! Was only receiving 6Mbps on Sky previously.

Have never been so frustrated at such poor service. Wifi worked fine for a few weeks and then slowed to 0.3. The customer service staff barely speak english and are rude, slow and unhelpful. I have spent 6 hours on the phone to them and my issue is still not resolved. I would urge anybody thinking about using EE to seriously re-consider. I've never felt the need to write a review online about anything, but EE really are DREADFUL

Dont use them if you want to move house. Go for virgin or sky as EE moving process is rubbish in my experience.I work full time and am used to getting calls from delivery companies before they deliver so i can go home and not have to take the day off. Sadly EE cant offer this service as they are unable to talk to the engineers. So tomorrow i have to wait in for the enginner from 8-1.

Its amazing that ee keep charging for service they do not provide. The first time I get ee they send me brodband box and the they told me ready to use but nothing work. I have called them every month and they keep tell me the engineer is coming. The engineer keep tell me that I have to tell ee that they need to open the line. Well people its been more than 6 month they still haven't sort out the problem. They actually charge us for engineer which we did not have or see. So I will advice you people pls dont get twisted with they advert they dont provide what exactly they say. Belive me you will thank me. So dont joined ee they dont know what they doing.

Pathetic. The speed I get is 0.3Mbps. That is not enough to watch a youtube clip. The internet is virtually unusable in my house as a result. Worse than dial up speeds in 2014. This may be EEs or BTs fault. I have no idea. But after complaining for 2 years nothing has improved.

I haven't had signal propally since I've been with ee, they are the worst network around and I have full 4gee with the iPhone 5s and unlimited everything And they can't help me. I will be cancelling my bank account so they are unable to transact any money from my account . Andi will not bee paying them for a service I was promised but yet never receeved. my personal experience with ee is terrible. I use ee for my broadband. No one can activate my internet at home, no one shows that they care, all they told me to do is to wait. I have been waited someone to set up my broadband at home for one month. Finally the engineer came yesterday and he wasn't willing to make sure the broadband work before he left my home. he said to me it should be working. he asked me to try it 10 mins later, but it didn't work! who i can go to if he left my house if it doesnt work?? I still don't have internet at home and i called today, they asked me to wait until monday for further advise. it doesnt sound promising at all i am guessing they are going to tell me to wait for another month on monday, I am absolutely disappointed by ee. All i wanted is to get my internet works at home, and we paid for the service. Don't make your customer to wait forever and you can't even deliver what you said you would.

Do not go with EE for mobile or broadband
Arrogant, liars and Indian call centre operatives who cut you off because they don't want to do any work.
Also, when you email the complaints link, they send an email back telling you to phone their technical helpline. Obviously they do not read the emails if they did they would know that the complaint is about the technical team.
Slow, 30 mins for a page to download, 1 hour calls to tech team with no resolution. I am now paying for a service that i can't use and they will not call me back or make any attempt to fix it. I just keep getting emails that are clearly stock responses and do not address the problem.
I have now written a letter as that is quicker and less stressful than dealing with overseas call centres and stupid long phone calls. I am now going to stop the direct debit and let them take me through the courts if this problem is not resolved within 7 days. I am not prepared to pay for a service that i cannot use.

Switched from BT to EE and nothing but problems from day 1. Their level 1 help kept telling me line speed was OK and would not accept it kept dropping out. Got through to Level 2 who insisted on an Openreach visit even though it was clear it wasn't a fault on the line (since perfect service with BT). After 3 call outs and an unacceptable amount of bad service they agreed to release me early from my contract. Switched back to BT today, no faults.

Was previously only able to achieve 3meg on the copper unlimited broadband, due to our distance from the exchange.

Fibre was launched in our area on the 10th April so we ordered the 40meg fibre basic package on the 13th.
Fibre was activated on the 2nd of May.

New Brigthbox 2 router is brilliant and we get the full 40meg and 10 meg upload speed. Downloaded a game via Steam to test speed at 4.5mbs a second! 4 gig data took 15 mins.

Slightly marked down on their customer service who were very inaccurate about our activation date. To their credit though, they gave us a month free in compensation for the inaccurate activation date information.
Some of the other reviewers on this site don’t seem to understand the limitations that cooper wire has on the speed of you connection from the local exchange and limitations of Wi-Fi technology.

For an accurate speed test connect via Ethernet to the router and run the BT wholesale speed test.

AVOID at all costs. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The broadband and internet are so unreliable and after being promised an "engineer" to be sent to my house 4 times, To plug a machine in and tell me everything looks fine, ive now had enough. We even paid for a better package as they advised us to do 6 months ago due to the broadband&Internet cutting off ALL of the time, and now they are telling us we haven't acctualy been upgraded. The company is a joke and there is alot of cheaper and more reliable competitors out there.

This EE company should just go bankrupt. with the service they are providing, plus the enormously slow internet speed. They seriously don't deserve getting pay by the customers . Im on a plan with 15 pound per month, with internet speed of 20 mbps. which im only getting 10 mbps normally. the worst is that I sometimes get internet speed below one mbps. which is equivalent to no internet. So i am just warning the home broadband buyers. Please never go for this broadband, or you are just wasting your money.
