    Having switched broadband between Sky, BT and Talktalk I had mistakenly formed the opinion that it didn't really matter who your provider was. They were all much of a muchness, just get the cheapest deal. Then I switched to EE on an 18 month contract. Big mistake! It's like a trip back in time to the good old bad old days of dial up. Was dial up this bad? Never again, all the one and no star reviews are accurate. It's truly shocking.

    If you are thinking of getting ee I would highly recommend against it. I have never had such a bad broadband in my life it's the slowest nothing will download for me. All my movies end up buffering for most of the time which pisses me off. They will cancel the contract for 180 pounds but we want to cancel on the grounds that our contract states we are to get 78mbps and we don't even get 1.2mbps. Please never use ee they are as close to scammers as PPI. Worst service. Disgusting service. There licence should be taking off them.

    Worst internet ever. I pay £30 a month for 72 mps so that online games are completely unplayable, I live in the city centre and my ping on eu servers no matter what game I play is in the 90's and 100's most of the time. Downloading anything takes way longer than they should (took me 8 hours to download league of legends). Watching any movies or videos is pointless as it always ends up stopping and buffering even on low quality. I've asked for help from ee many times and all they've done is basically shrug me off every time. No. 1 internet service provider my bumhole.

    I just cannot use this EE broadband because it is too slow to work. It takes ages to log on, it takes ages to download an email. That's a s far as it goes. Try to download a busy site of a video and there is no chance. What kind of garbage broadband is this!!! I am so sick to death of complaining to there technical department. After 4 months of complaining nothing is better...NOTHING!!!! I got this as a fixed term and fixed price contract for 18 months and they have put the price up!!!! EE is a SCAM!!!!! KEEP AWAY FROM EE!!!!!!!

    This is digusting broadband, too slow for any useful purpose. I am sick of complaining to their idea of customer services. Reall bad broadband. cannot watch a video and basic internet functions are slowed down to a level that means they virtually do not work. Too slow to even use one device properly. Literally!!
    DO NOT CONSIDER EE AS A BROADBAND PROVIDER!!! It is truely terrible!

    I'll make things real simple. If you want to log on quick, if you want fast downloads, if you want reliable download speeds, if you want to get to your inbox fast, if you want to download and upload fast, if you want to watch TV reruns, if you want to watch/stream videos, if you use a Amazon firestick, in fact if you want any kind of decent Broadband.....then DO NOT GO TO EE BROADBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was persuaded to change from Virgin (home phone/TV/ and Broadband)contract )after visiting the EE store in Harrogate were we had a mobile phone contract They sold us a complete contract for the above on a cheaper cost.
    We were very satisfied with Virgin.WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
    My printer is continually not accessible due to broadband failure,Our TV is OK unless I try Amazon or Netflix and they refuse to send anyone to help us (2 pensioners)

    This broadband sucks!
    Slow doesn't cover it!!!!!. It just is not fit for the purpose. How can EE call broadband that is this slow a Broadband Connection. Oh, and don't forget the comedy show that passes for customer services that is able to do Nothing!!! Oh! And don't forget the price hike mid contract on a "fixed price for 18 months" contract. Wow...There are so many Cowboys working for EE they should be in a Western.

    My internet stopped working 15 days ago . I am told by EE engineers that they cannot find a password to reacavate my account . WTF , NO RESOLVE OFFERED , VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE , I have no alternative but to leave this Isp

    The Broadband download speeds for this ISP have diminished month on month, until now I barely exceed 1.2Mps. This is outrageous! Countless times I have complained, the router has been changed, EE says it has done this and that and yet the download speed is still appalling.
    There are two points to be noted here:
    Firstly that the speed used to be much higher.
    The second point is that with my previous ISP the download speeds....for the same line and set up....were around 24Mps.
    So, either there has been a cataclysmic disaster with EE.....which means they should have repaired it OR there is a policy of constricting download speeds to existing customers. The moment this contract expires I am leaving for good.

    Never have I had such a slow download speed since the days of narrowband in the nineties. I have repeatedly complained to the EE service dept but nothing has been done. I am 6 months into an 18 month contract and I am really unhappy with this Company. My mate is an IT analyst and he tells me that he believes that EE deliberately squeezes the download speeds to allow more people to use the same pipe and that is illegal but no one can prove it. My download is around 1.4Mb/s. That makes watching videos impossible, and not more than one device can be used off a router. I never had this problem with Talk Talk and I thought they were bad.

    EE broadband really is disgraceful. All the time it is crawling pace downloads, my Amazon Firestick worked great with SKY but now I cannot watch a video without stuttering or freezing completely. The line is the same, all thet has changed is the provider! It is impossible to upload an email with an attachment and generally, all of the time the download speed hovers around 1.2Mbps, that is disgraceful. No matter how many times I complain to EE's idea of a customer services department, nothing improves. They want me to go to fibre....but when they sold me this package, EE assured me that my downloads would be at least as fast as my previous provider (SKY). That is a blatant lie! EE broadband cannot support more than one device at a time and in fact CANNOT EVEN SUPPORT ONE DEVICE! Oh, and to add to the tissue of deceipt, they have increased my contract fees mid way through a "Fixed Price Contract".
    AVOID EE COMPLETELY!!

    If you have a problem with EE broadband speed, particularly upload, replace the terrible bright box 1 router. I started using the technicolor I got from SSE 3 years ago and the problem with unusable slow upload has disappeared. I feel sorry for the people working on the customer service line. They can't say that the supplied router is rubbish and you need to use something else to get reasonable service.

    Trash! Absolute Trash. This joke for a broadband is total Trash. Snail pace downloads. EE is a fraud. Impossible to stream and cannot even get emails to download properly. What customer services....they do Nothing! EE Broadband is TRASH!!!!!

    EE is a company that is incapable of delivering the ISP service that it says it provides. Incredibly slow download speeds of little more than 1Mb/s make this broadband barely useable. I was mis-sold this contract! It's customer services department is also utterly incapable of doing anything about it. I would not have believed there could be an ISP in the UK, that could be allowed to trade and be this awful!!!!.
    My simple advice to you, if you are looking for acceptable reviews, with a mind to choosing a broadband provider, is DO NOT USE EE!!!!......Ever!!!

    EE broadband is sensationally lousy! Fantastically slow.....beyond belief. Not fit for the purpose. As good as unusable. Disgraceful customer services. Not interested in the customer only interested in money. Excuse on excuse but never an improvement. I absolutely cannot recommend this excuse for a broadband company to anyone at all!!!! The very moment the contract expires I am off to anyone but EE!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,
    I called EE customer service around 10 times and my issue has still not been solved. They owe me more than 200 pounds because I have been invoice wrongly. Each time I called, they apologized for the mistake BUT never send my money back.

    Dubious about switching to EE for fibre having read the reviews, but I couldn't be happier about my experience. We were kept updated every step of the way with texts, letters and emails. Full set-up instructions came with the router, plus a video link sent to my phone for additional help. Now it's set up we get the full 36GB speed that we were told we could get. I can't comment on customer service as we've had no reason to contact them. It's easy to leave negative reviews; if only everyone who had a good experience left a review it may be easier to get a true balanced review on all the broadband providers out there.

    Terrible I was promised great things and it's worse than ever tried the technical team was on phone for half an hour nothing changed I'm wondering whether we could go for breach of contract as I really do not want to stay with EE a moment longer !!!!     Terrible, terrible, terrible! Service apeed was rubbish but i used it lightly, but customer services is atrocious. So rude and completely useless. They also lied on the phone saying they spoke to me about the contract changes which they never did. Avoid at all costs!!

    This EE broadband is appalling. The download speeds are not what I was promised. They are not a bit slower they are completely slower. In fact the internet is almost unusable. The speed is in fact so slow that basic internet functions cannot be relied on. I am fatigued with the number of times, over the past 4 months, that I have complained to EE "Customer Services" about this. They promise to look into it but NOTHING IS DONE! EE is appalling. When the contract is finished I will go elsewhere, in fact anywhere to get away from this appalling Company.

    Garbage broadband. Can't give it any stars. Gives me so much trouble. No way to stream. No way to get any speed (around 1.5mbps most of the time). Just completely useless garbage. Totally garbage service department. EE Broadband = Total Garbage. KEEP AWAY!!!

    Been with EE Broadband for about 6 weeks now. The first 2 weeks were fine. I was getting similar speeds to my previous provider. I only changed because previous provider capped the upload speeds at 512Kbs (EE offer 1Mbs upload).

    Since then it's continually getting worse. My speed fluctuates between 2Mbs - 4Mbs. EE speed check said I should be getting 9.7Mbs. Indeed with my previous providers I was getting around 9.5Mbs (I was getting 11Mbs with O2 until Sky took them over). So what is the experience with this speed? Web pages stutter when scrolling, youtube videos default to SD instead of HD, online gaming is practically impossible as you will constantly freeze.

    Have tried to email my speed tests to EE but all their email addresses bounce. Try looking for a support email address on their website (Good luck with that!). Finally had enough and tried to call them yesterday. The lady on the other end seemed nice but in the middle of her saying she was going to test my line the phone just cut off. Tried calling back and apparently it's now out of hours.

    The only difference with my setup is EE as the ISP and the router they provided. Everything else (my line, computer, phone etc) are exactly the same. Had I known all of this I would never have changed. To cap it all off I'm paying £1.50 a month more for a connection that isn't fit for purpose.

    I AM NOT PREPARED TO GIVE ANY PART OF THIS SERVICE EVEN ONE STAR. It justifies minus ten stars. In my whole IT experience I have never known such bad download speeds that make using the internet impossible. Quite simply either EE are utterly inept....ergo.... they should not be selling an ISP package... OR.... they know exactly what they are doing and this is a fraud scam. They deliberately squeeze the Mbps downloads. There is no third way. No one can receive the amount of complaints for this garbage and not be able to do anything about it. EE is a SCAM!!!!

    The most ignorant useless company ever! They’re using a 3rd company openresch sent engineer to my house teicr now still could install the broadband.. inbetween there wa ssuppose to be a specialist coming but because of their miscommunication that did not happen. They then sent the engineer again to my address?? But without the specialist coming the engineer can’t do nothing ... however looks like its nothing new as engineer called me before buzzing up as he read the notes and told me there is no point in him coming as from the records he can see the specialist has not been in yet, and also the engineer was not suprised that they did this as its a common thing! AVOID AVOID AVOID openreach and EE are rubbish! I wanted the broadband for the world cup but because of their mistake and it taking them so long worldcups finishing. Im not gettinng the broadband no more! England have better chance coming hone with the workd cup than EE installing my broadband on time! The most useless company ever!!!

    Arguably the most horrendous WIFI I have ever used. Constantly disconnects, cannot support more than one large device such as an Xbox or TV, and has ridiculously low download speeds. Said they would send someone out within 48 hours and it's been a week and no one has done anything about it, worst customer service I've ever seen regarding the problems being fixed. Would have rated everything with 0 stars if it was physically possible.

    I have had some bad broadband in my time but nothing compares to this. Almost all the time it takes forever to download emails. No chance of downloading a complex site and as for videos then just forget it. Yes! It is That Bad!!! No responce from their excuse for a customer service department. Just so bad. Just a scam. It is like going to a petrol station,filling up with and paying for 10 gallons of fuel, only to find that you actually have half a pint.
    DO NOT GO TO EE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
