    I'm my partner's appointee he's been with italk for over a year now they are the worst broadband company I have ever had to deal with the take advantage of vaunerble people who don't know much about these thing's. My partner pay's £21 for simple broadband apparently dats just for browsing and shopping so he can't watch his Smart TV with it only use his phone that already has unlimited data. They want him to upgrade to fibre for £25 even though there is a scheme for vaunerble people to pay £20pm for broadband conveniently italk don't do it. Smh they are quick to want to take your money but not care. He wants out of the 24 month contract but is stuck with something that is pointless kmt

    I have to re set the Wi-Fi at least 3 times a day!!! Emailed and got no reply . Charged £85 for a bill that is £35. Do not use this company

    As soon as the hub was installed we started having issues with the speed, and the hub reset itself repeatedly. An engineer found a fault which italk then charged me for even though they only charge when no fault is found. They took £20 but put £150 credit on my account after I got passed to multiple departments and finally made a formal complaint and threatened to sue them. They also reduced my bill by £5 per month. This was to see Me through to the end of my contract in Dec. 2022 as stated by italk themselves. However, as my term was coming to an end they decided to increase my bill without notification and consent, and increase the monthly amount and then tried to take more money from me saying we owed for phone calls which they refused to give an itemised bill for even though it was requested. Whereas if the agreed fixed contract remained and the credit with the £5.00 discount was considered they would in fact owe me money. They are happy to talk over the phone but they won't put anything in writing (good job I record my telephone calls). The speeds they promised never came to fruition, overall in my experience the company comes across as a money making scam and it seems customer service are happy to bully for payment but not serve you or answer any questions. Regardless of what their reviews maybe on trust pilot I don't and won't trust them again and my personal experience has been awful.

    Engineer repair £150.09 for vandalism outside my property was charge for a new socket that was supposed to be damaged to connect phone line ,repair took 5minutes left a mess. How do this company get away with it and my broadband as been rubbish since the day I signed up , i now have paid for a booster plug and it's not much difference. They are absolute conn artists Worse company ever!!!!

    Do not use iTalk. My elderly parents recently moved to a different provider and have been daily harassed by members of the customer service team from iTalk, receiving several calls a day on their landline and mobile phones as they apparently owe 75p, even suggesting they would send in bailiffs. Although iTalk say on their website that their senior management team will deal with any issues, the advisers would not allow my parents to speak to anyone senior. Just the worst and intimidating customer service approach I have ever heard of.

    They don't stick to the dates agreed and they have a very bad customer service and they always keep changing the go live date agreed and even the last go-live date which was today (it passed 5pm and it is not there yet and I'm still waiting for the broadband).
    I called today to raise a complaint and told to record it and they said I've to wait to midnight and I asked to speak to a manager and they she is busy.

    Below are the details:

    1) The package was agreed and paid for on 19 July
    2) When the package was sold it was confirmed by the italk representative on phone that the go-live date will be 03-Aug (15 calendar days after the sale date) if not earlier and that was the basis of the agreement.
    3) Following that an email was sent to say that the go live date will be 03-09 August (this was not accepted by me the customer).
    4) A week later another email was sent by italk to say that go live is now 10 August (this was not accepted by myself).
    5) I called the customer service team and after 10min discussion I asked to talk to a manager and I was advised that no managers are available. I asked to talk with the customer complaint team and the representative cut-off the call.
    6) I called again after an hour and talked with another customer representative and after an hour of discussion and him trying to chaeck and discuss the issue with his team internally, he told me that the go-live date that was sent to me is 17 Aug although the email below shows clearly that it is 03-09 August and this was not agreed at the point of sale which shows that italk is giving four go live dates 03 Aug, 03-09 Aug, 10 Aug & 17 Aug and it’s a complete mess.
    7) I also asked for a customer complaint number and he said that they don’t operate this system and cannot give me a number.
    8) The customer service advisor said that he’ll have further discussion to check why there is discrepancy and call me on the same day yesterday but this did not happen

    My debit increased from £30 to £40 for no reason. I sent company 5 emails asking why it increased and every email was ignored. Cancelled the debit and they then added a further £10 to my bill. Still haven’t replied to me. Do yourself a favour and AVOID this company.

    AVOID ITALK! this company is a scam, they will take money from your account without you knowing refuse to refund. they refused to look into any service issue and charge £150 for a engineer to come out. the service did not meet the standed or contract agreed speeds are below 1mpbs WORST BB PROVIDER IN UK. after reporting to ofcom and the fraud team. the customer service is a joke treat you like a child and dont listen but continue to take money regardless of no service.

    Worst company I've ever used. Kept sending e-mails asking for assistance as broadband wasn't working. NO REPLY. Absolutely no help whatsoever. Again, worst broadband provider

    If I had the opportunity to give us company zero stars I would. For the last year they have been trying to get money from me for a service that I have never had, absolutely disgusting.I have no idea how this company is still operating

    Italk are an absolutely disgusting company, and seeing the comments here I’m glad I’m not the only one. They give an installation date nearly 4 weeks ahead, yet fail to tell you that the 14 day cooling off period is started from the day you take apply for broadband. I sent the box back the same day I got it. They then have the cheek to then add a balance which I’m not paying, I now have enlisted Communications & Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS) who are assisting me. Avoid this disgusting company at all costs !!!!!

    My elder friend is italk customer (she asked me to post this review). Her service is unreliable, even thought she lives in a city. She's an older vulnerable person who relies on her broadband to attend doctor's appointments and keep in touch with family as she struggles to move around. After many, many phonecalls (she insists on calling herself despite many offers from myself - I'm a qualified specialist and CAN determine whether the issue is due to the problems with hardware or 'not having fibre optic connection') to sort this issue out she has been called childish, told to take a pacifier out of her mouth and to get lost. Such a level of customer service is unacceptable and downright humiliating. Steer clear of them if you can help it.

    Don’t even start me on this company!! STAY WELL CLEAR AS THEY ARE THE WORST INTERNET/BROADBAND PROVIDER EVER!!!
    I’m paying £38 states £35 on their site but £38 when bill comes in! for ‘super fast fibre’ which is a load of crap, I have NEVER received their minimum, let alone what they advertise!! It’s up then down not reliable at all. So bad then it even cuts out on my Alexa when only playing a song!! Last time I’ve ever known it to buffer was probably about 20 years ago when I worked in publishing but at last then we was all connected to internet. Mine struggles with 2 Xbox consoles and 4 mobile phones (3 of which have there own unlimited data anyway) and an Alexa!! Complaint after complaint. As well as all the thing other reviews have complained about rather than repeat, same things also happened to me! Done tests, had openreach out, still awful!!
    The customer service reps are not only miserable, but very rude and my god do they torment the living day lights out of you, call after call after call! Friday was a record for them two courtesy calls with in 20 mins of each other?? Then again this morning at 8am... why would anyone want a bloody courtesy call at 8am when your getting kids ready for school? Absolute joke! These nuisance calls a couple of weeks ago, where hitting 8-10 calls a day and they where the ones I answered!!
    Another incident I’ve had was, I was 3 days late playing my bill which was due on a Friday on the Monday I called them up to pay on my card which I was told was £38 the payment went through then Tuesday morning they was chasing me again for a £10 late payment fee! I wasn’t disputing the late payment fee but for gods sake the next day, really? They tormented the life out of me! Never known a provider like them ever!

    Sick to death of them to be honest it’s all the time now if it’s not one thing it’s another! If I’d of known then what I know now I would of never entered into a contract with them!

    I was called while at work with the NHS by a very pushy salesman who would not shut up even though I kept saying it was not convenient as I was working and could not have a conversation In the end I just put the phone down which I don't like doing but had to as he would not stop talking, would have been better if he was polite enough to ask if it was convenient to talk or when would be a good time? Having read all the other comments on here I wont even pick it up if I get another call Thank you to all you people for your comments as they have been very useful

    PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS AWFUL COMPANY.
    Honestly what a shambles of a company.

    Please avoid at all costs. I wrote a review to let people know that I had to go back to my bank to chargeback the money they were taking from my account illegally.

    They obviously did not like my review as they then had it removed from the site, the company is a joke.

    If they want to keep removing the review that's fine I'll keep writing them

    Do not waste time or money with this company, complete sharks! Went for months without internet services, every time I would phone and state me and my family were without internet access they would suggest paying more money to get better services, so I did only to be no better off, but still taking money for services that they could not or would not provide. Try charging me for an engineer that did not come to my home as I set it up myself. Eventually I left and went with sky, that have been fantastic. I have had nothing but stress and constantly chasing me for money I do not owe and even to this day months later continue to attempt to take money from my bank account without my consent. Stay away from this company, unreasonable prices for services that you will not receive and illegal behaviour in charges and taking money without consent from your bank account constantly. Go with sky or anyone else do not get ripped off and left with no service, so unless you wish to waste money on nothing stay well away from this company. Sharks ripping hard working people!!!!

    Absolute disgrace of a company. Not legitimate not trustworthy.
    Been with italk since November. 9.95 a month for WiFi. They cut my internet service off 4 weeks ago and when I called they said I was up to date with payments and the problem was internat and I had to remove the back off my internet router and call them back. No legitimate company requires customers to mess with their electronic routers. So that was red flag number one. They then told me in order to see the problem they would have to send a service man to my property for £100 charge. I refused. I have paid my bulls up to date and had 4 weeks of service. Then to be cut off and told they want to charge me to find out why my internet isn't working. They have since tried to take £209 EACH DAY unauthorized.

    Complete cowboys.

    Absolute joke of a company. I had a package for 24.99 a month for in,limited Internet and anytime call. Just had my first bill in for £33. Turns out mobile numbers are not included in anytime calls.had nothing but hassle from them. Started off with lies and didnt get any better. Do not go with italk.

    The telephone sales people are con men and will say absolutely anything for you to buy their broadband… they lied to me and claimed my download speed would be compatible and even faster than Netflix. They persuade and convince - all for them to have their pockets lined with (commission) at the end of the day for selling an awful product. For someone, like myself, who has no clue about figures and numbers - they took absolute pride in blagging my head with fake figures and implying they could provide excellence and efficiency for great value. It was a rarity when I could connect to the internet and then when I was able to I was given a Privacy warning from apple about the unsecured line of internet, long story short multiple of my online account details got leaked. On top of all this, they still continue to attempt to take money out of my account near enough EVERY DAY… ranging from £29.80, £32.15, £8.11, £81.98, £64.29, £47.03 and the list continues. I refuse to give this company a single penny since they cannot keep up with their guarantee of providing me with internet - money grabbing, scummy individuals who attempt (and succeed) at pulling the wool over your eyes (especially if you’re not tech savvy). I would NOT recommend to anyone. It is not worth the cheap price as you do not even get internet guaranteed. An utter joke. I will be reporting to watchdog.

    Second review. Disgrace of a company, twice they have gone into my account ancd taken money even though my direct debit is cancelled, this is scary how do they do this? They are now saying I owe them £70 for not returning the router (I did with pleasure) and until I do the emails texts and calls at leat 8 a day will continue. I will be taking legal action PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE

    I cannot give this company any stars whatsoever, my 90 year old mother in law is with the company for her phone and I have tried to talk to them for over an hour to try and resolve an issue. No senior manager was willing to talk. So so frustrating. Appalling service.

    I feel very very sorry for anybody who makes the decision to go with i talk for their internet. To say I have been massively let down would be an understatement. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS DREADFUL COMPANY. I was a customer for almost a year when on Xmas day 2019 my internet went down. I then waited until the day after boxing day to report the problem when I knew the office would be open after the hols. I was advised to check various parts of the equipment to check for damage etc and to also replace the microfilter, which I did. This didn't resolve the problem. New year's Eve an engineer from openreach came out and replaced the line outside. He suspected the Reuter was possibly faulty. Still no internet. In the meantime I was revising for an exam and had no access to my online course. This went on for nearly a month, my kids also asking daily when we would have internet again. So, in pure frustration I made the decision to go with Virgin Media instead which has so far been very good. I'm now receiving constant communications from i talk chasing me for over £100. I wish they had contacted me as often when I was without a service. On checking my bank today I can see they have managed to take the money, despite cancelling direct debit and getting a new bank card to stop any payments being taken. For them to believe I owe them after having no internet for almost a month and over the Xmas period and all the hassle and phone calls I went through is a liberty. To say I am livid would be an understatement. They haven't a clue what they are doing. Stay well clear !

    Slow , 100% packet loss nearly everyday ,Super fiber 40mbps..
    Buffering all the time on everything.. customer service is a joke.. had to send proof for 3 weeks before they sent engineer was told i would be fined if they couldnt find a fault.. they apparently fixed a fault.. got worse.

    This company has been harassing me daily 3 or 4 times for the last few months, I have never used there service or even had a router I refused it when a engineer came they have taken money from my account and at the moment my apparent bill is 250 pounds I want to go to the court but they will not do it so they can make the bill higher now I'm not saying that I didn't make a mistake in the beginning but I thought I was applying for a mobile phone as soon as I realised I cancelled it but still for months every day they call I have blocked 20 phone number so now I have to change my phone number bank account and email just to avoid them I am a 22 year veteran and double amputee on disability they are driving me to suicide keep away from them

    Can’t give any stars at all I have never seen anything worse than italk we bought the package at £19.99 per month now we are being charged 29.94 with £8 for phone calls yet we don’t even have a house phone to call on, service is constantly cutting out or not working at all and the customer service team are no help whatsoever absolute joke of a company and should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising

    Where do I start well I've rang italk up about moveing my services to a new address as I wanted to keep the broad band with them but unfortunately I was told they couldn't provide the services where I'm moving to so they told me I would have to pay an early termination fee as I'm still in contract with them but I stated that it was them that terminated the contract not me but they said I had to pay it as it's my fault so I cancelled my DD and only yesterday I noticed on my on line banking they set up a new DD with out my permission I've emailed them but no response from them iv informed my bank and notified the police and now they are looking in to it for me so there for any body thinking of going to italk I'd think twice as they are the worst company iv ever had any dealings with so good riddance italk mere again

    Do not deserve no stars was going to leave last year after double payments to from bank poor connection and just lies from customer service. Promisised faster broadband cheap price to stay a year on it still poor broadband the price is more than I paid before and once again there taken double payments ur be a fool to go with them I'm now stuck with this for another year poor poor overall rubbish

    Tbh can't give any stars broadband crashes every single day absolutely attrocious I did contact them recently and they allegedly did checks over the phone and said there was nothing wrong with it !!!!!!!!!
