There is problems constantly it can work and then suddenly speed I'm getting us 0.56mb/s and then back again to 70. I've been told by two ppl at now tv that the routers they provide are old and unable to maintain the speed they promise but when trying to raise with someone to get a better router the managers insists that the information is not correct.

Switched to these as had NowTV account and comparison website suggested that they would be faster than ordinary broadband. What a mistake, had issues with data protection, shocking customer service and highly unstable broadband and router. NEVER GO BACK

Now broadband is absolutely the pits, I've had fibre 80/20 with BT, TalkTalk and EE, not an issue with any of those providers, speeds were constant 76 down and 19 up, however, after moving to Now broadband fibre, they have locked my speed to 53 down and 19 up, customer service does answer when you send a message but they can't help.
My advice is, don't bother with this provider.

Awful. Gave it a chance and got BB +The Tv package for 18.99 a month. Awful constant buffering. Losing connection. At one point nearly everyday. When I called they said I only have copper wire I really need to upgrade to fiber as the package I'm on is only really for reading the news online and surfing and I'm only getting 11mbps! I was laughing at this point, and pointed out that they had sold me it with NOWTV CHANNELS lol. I swear ridiculous. I think I was more annoyed that they treated me like I was stupid. Now I'm paying £24 a month and to be honest its not much better, they said id be getting 40mbps plus.I am doubtful. Thinking of cancelling as I'm tied in for another year now apparently!

Now broadband is just AWFUL. You can use one device as long as you are beside the router. I live in a city centre and this is the best I could get. They have the gall to jack up the price by 50% after a year. Astonishing! I literally couldn’t get a signal in my bedroom which is 8 feet from the router. Don’t buy this. Fair warning.

Signed up gave my current provider 14 days notice.
Plenty of e mails but no action router was charged for but not arrived, on day of change over b band disconnected, I contacted them and I had failed at the first hurdle but they did not know why. They really did not have a clue on what they were talking about . All I could do was reapply for an account and that would take 14 days
Went back to my old supplier(plusnet) who were very helpful gave me a good deal and would rush everything through.
Basically do not use Now is my opinion.

absolutley shocking broadband. I have one the best package available with a "promised" 63 mbps. When I try to play on my ps4 or stream videos I am at around 800 kbps which is 1990 esque Internet speeds. Would not recommend for anyone who wants to do a simple Google search. Save yourselves

Really bad experience with the customer service. I had a no contract option with them, I explicitly said I wanted to keep the account open due to the no contract option but I'm vacating the property and don't have a move in date for the new property. They mismanaged my account for 9 weeks, keeping the line active despite the property having been let and the new tenants using the line. I've had broken promises to fix the issues, refunds promised that never happened, promises for supervisors to contact me that never happened and customer service staff hang up on me. Appalling service

Signed up for fibre. Due 30 April.not supplied. Phoned 10 times and no reason given . Kept closing complaint though not resolved. No service to date and no feedback. Utterly appalling service. Should be made to stop offering broadband as obviously incompetent

After more than 10 years with Plusnet I moved to the Now Broadband ADSL service 10 days ago. Good communications from Now Broadband from the time of ordering to the change-over of service. New router arrived in plenty of time and the change-over itself went without issue. I have consistently received 20.5Mbps download speed and usually around 1.2Mbps upload. This is a clear improvement on what I was getting from Plusnet. So far, it does appear that Plusnet have done me a favour in their no longer appreciating loyal customers.

Never had customer service this exceptional. Reported no service on Sunday due to broken outside cables. Jess from Now TV was so helpful. Knowledgeable and friendly. Engineer called Tuesday for repair.
Very impressed with this company. Excellent broadband at very reasonable price.

I typically have one major issue with internet a week. I have trouble teaching online, subtitled movies display no words because of speeds. It doesn't matter what time of day it is or the amount of people using the service at any given time. It is 4:30 AM, and I am having issues connecting to the server. Also, I pay for the higher speed service.

We are students and have had a really bad time with this broadband. It constantly cuts in and out, we have rang up 7 times and it still hasn’t been repaired and are really concerned as exams are coming up and we really rely on internet. We have been promised products to improve the signal twice and have not received them, and keep getting told we will be called back and never are. Really disappointed.

Literally can not play a single online game without disconnecting. Can not believe they charge people for this service. Asked for help to improve the WiFi got no help whatsoever and now I am say here having scrape pennies together to pay the contract off. Would rather **** in my own hands and clap before giving this company a second chance.

Absolutely rubbish broadband tonight I have no internet I work from home. The past two months have been dire. When I rang for advice I was told 6 devices were too many. Two laptops two phonesNOT IN USE no apps open a smart tv on standby and a work mobile not using any internet. Really!? Want to charge me to leave and. The day they confirm my new provider has been in touch and confirming the change will take place in 3 weeks and they will charge me my internet starts playing up. The day after and the orange light meaning no internet has been on for over an hour. But they still want money. The clown on the phone told me that I couldn’t raise a complaint or a dissatisfaction with her as “we don’t have a complaints procedure’. Upload speed was so low my IT department at work laughed and said they were pretty sure now tv had no right charging for such poor service. And this was while word to the router. Can’t wait to get a decent connection. With someone else.

Seeing all the negative reviews almost put me off getting Now Broadband but my experience has been more positive. My circumstances meant that I was only interested in a non-contract agreement, i.e. leave whenever I wanted without exit fees. "Now" were one of the very few providers in my area that offered broadband without tying you down to 12/24 months so this was a great plus for me. The speed is not the best but I knew that before I signed up as they provide accurate estimated speeds, however the speed is fine for my uses.

The price is reasonable too for £18 I get broadband, line rental and unlimited local and mobile calls AND can cancel whenever I want with no costs being incurred.
Now also arranged for BT to connect my line to the phone network which was done quickly and the engineer came exactly when expected, so the setup was trouble-free. Getting the modem-router setup was simple too.

The biggest complaint I have is customer service since it's so difficult to connect to an advisor. On 3 or 4 occasions when I called, the call just disconnected. On the single occasion I did manage to get through, the advisor was helpful and was able to setup my account promptly.

I'm sure everyone that has complained about Now have legitimate qualms, but my experience has been mostly good and I have got everything I needed from them for a good price - something no other provider was able to offer.

Absolutely shocking. Do not purchase broadband from this provider, I am paying £28.99 a month for fibre broadband and I am getting a download speed of 5mbs. It is supposed to be guaranteed 55mbs.
No one is interested in my concern, I am waiting for a phone call back from a manager. I was told A new router was on the way out to me only to find the customer service team did not order it. Stay away from NOWBROADBAND. They are a scam

Avoid like the plague. I didn't get beyond my first phone call. The guy I spoke with was useless. Didn't want to engage with me at all. He chose not to answer one question I asked. All he'd say was "Go to the website", "I'm not an engineer", "I'm not a salesman".
Basically, take it or leave it. That was his attitude. "I don't give a toss" was how he came across to me.
If he reflects his company's attitude, well, I don't give a toss either.
They'll never get my business and if you've any sense, don't risk giving them yours.

Ordered Nowtv broadband to replace Sky. Was not told it cannot replace Sky because Sky provide a 4 ethernet connection hub but Nowtv only provide a 2 ethernet connection hub. So broadband being cut off today, I have to choose to lose 2 devices, Digital TV, Nowtv, Sky or Computer. I really could have used a little information/warning before ordering, that their hub was a really basic model and not compatible with the service they are replacing

I have NOW TV wifi installed. Which necessitates a landline. They said they would send an engineer, but hey never did and when I called, I was told they had already hooked it up. Not! They then sent out a BT engineer a week later and got it working.

I got my statement and there were about 30 calls made to Angola. The date of the calls happened between the time of the first installation date (when the line wasn't working) and the second installation date (when the line was sorted correctly).

We obviously wanted the call charges taken off and NOW TV escalated to their manager and came back w an offer to take £10 off the bill! Why in the world should I pay for calls that were made by someone else when the line was not functioning.

All of this took literally hours of calling NOW TV, waiting for one person after another and that's their resolution?

I can't fault NOW TV Broadband. After reading some of the other reviews and getting my date delayed by 1 week with an OpenReach issue, it turns out that it actually was an OpenReach issue. I spoe to NOW a couple of times, very quick to answer once you go through the Option 3, Option 1 answer message. Very polite staff, apologetic and contacted me to say they had heard from OpenReach and confirmed the switch on date. OpenReach arrived well in time, connected to the OpenReach socket and didn't have much of a signal, so the engineer put a new socket in within 2 minutes and I instantly got great coverage in all rooms with no lag whatsoever. My son started downloading his PlayStation 4 updates and games, we went out for an hour and came back and all was downloaded. Can't fault them to be honest, right from the start they've been consistently extremely polite and very helpful. I've got the 38Mb/s fibre broadband with landline and for £23 per month on a 12 month contract, they are cheaper by far than any other. 5 stars all round from me.

Switched online to NowBroadband from Virgin, then Virgin called us with a better deal. Cancelled the contract with NowBoradband within the cooling period.
However, they kept taking direct debits for 4 months and after spending hours with their useless customer service team on the phone, will still now refund our monies. Haven't even been connected to their service. In my opinion: thieves - stay away.
I recommend switching between EE and Virgin every 2 years to keep on good deals. Both have better service and speeds.

Now tv have consistently failed to collect direct debit payments. After 6 months of this I eventually changed bank accounts. Today they have collected their payment. For the last few months the Internet stops working for upto an hour around midnight. Ive been fobbed off with 'System updates' 'denial' 'manager to call you back and 'You could always go elsewhere'. Its frustrating, the website is as friendly as a hangry guard dog, the line check useless! It needs working internet to test line issues, so if there's no Internet connection, it cant test anything! getting in touch with them takes the tenacity of a bounty hunter & the realisation that you need more magic than Disney to get a phone number out of that website & instead have to Google 'Speak to human NowTv'. Once you get through, the staff are good its the crazy Nowtv frame in which they work that is the issue. Nowtv don't do good will, apology or rectify mistakes permanently. The same issues happen each month. Tonight Internet went off at 23.54. It finally came back on at 00.44. Tomo I will battle to contact them again, they will in turn show me these actions are the definition of insanity. Time to change companies.. Id recommend teasing that hangry guard dog with a big steak a better idea than choosing them as your Internet provider, dont do it!!

We're on the basic 'brilliant broadband' package, having just moved into our first real apartment after uni. My partner is a key worker and I run a small business from home (due to the pandemic). I knew going in that the speed was less than average, but for our needs, would be adequate. And it would have been adequate, if we were getting the 'guaranteed' speeds. The package promises 11mb/s with a minimum of 4mb/s. Instead, we consistently get 0.7 mb/s. Thank god for unlimited mobile data, my hotspot is infinitely more effective than their broadband. An engineer was sent out to fix the problem to no avail, and trying to contact customer support is a nightmare - like they deliberately go out of their way to prevent you calling. We've been with NOW TV for less than 2 months and are already switching. Save yourself the hassle and go with literally anyone else.

No idea how this lot make any money. They've installed two lines for us at separate properties, including a brand new copper pair at the second, entirely free of charge. Broadband is reasonably fast and cheap, and on the new copper pair download speed, latency and packet loss are all good. Customer support is UK-based and pretty helpful.

After two years of a decent service, my internet speeds began to deteriorate from around mid-2020. By autumn 2020 it's unbearably slow, so I call NOWTV to complain. And what do they do: blame me for 'too many devices connected'. I have had exactly the same number of devices connected to my router the whole two years with no problems at all, and three-quarters of devices on my network are passive switches and sensors. Time to find a new provider; the £2-3 extra cost elsewhere will absolutely be worth it.
