I've read similar reviews here.. Unfortunately too late. Two weeks have past since the engineer came to my house to install the broadband. He couldn't finish the work and I had no update that day. I called NowTV to find out what went wrong and they didn't know. They promised to call me the day after to give me an update but they didn't. I tried to chat with them online and finally they could spot one of the problems. The woman I spoke to promised to keep me updated. 3 days later I happen to speak to the same woman in the chat so I asked about that update she reassured me I would get. She said she sent it and it finally turns out that she sent it to the wrong email address. Her response "my bad".
I still don't have internet.
I thought that they had a good deal but considering the hassle and energy I've wasted, I would never choose NowTV and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Premise: I like to be left alone. I hate getting promo emails and being bugged about what 'more' I could get from the service. NowTV leaves you alone - some love this, some hate this.
The one downside is that sometimes they leave you alone a bit too much, like not warning you when the costs are going up because the 12 months of contract are over. But everything else that they could tell you about is just really easy to find on their website, so I actually prefer it.
The offers are very good, especially for someone on a budget, like me.
The broadband was just fine, speed was great, worked great even with several devices connected to the WiFi.
It did occasionally give some problems when it would temporarily stop working (for 10 to 30 minutes) and all you could do was wait - but I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the location of my flat 'cause I had this same exact problem with the previous provider.
Customer service is fine. Actually the best cancelling experience I've ever had. I've recently had to cancel after over a year with them because I'm moving country, and it was all done in 3 minutes. I've always been kept on the phone for half an hour trying to cancel services, instead the operator didn't insist, was very nice throughout, never pushed, and was super helpful in cancelling the plan just before the next payment. Awesome experience right there.

Shocking company. Would not recommend. Waiting weeks for broadband and then it was cancelled, no explaination, can’t tell us why. Have to replace order and wait another two weeks. Told multiple times we’d be called to be updated, never was contacted by them. Had to wait on hold for over an hour every time. Shocking

Avoid like the plague! They have a billing system that is terrible and will not take the payment when it is due. Their online bills system does not work and you get fobbed off when you call about it. The retentions staff speak to you like you are a piece of garbage! Cannot physically wait to move away from them! Even talk talk are better and that is saying something

all fine till the go live date. internet was working but phone line wasnt. phoned customer service. spend 30 mins on hold. someone with a very strong scottish accent answered. he didnt understand me so instead of passing me to someone who does. he just hung up so had to sit on hold for another 30 minutes. they tested the line and said it was working fine. yet it wasnt working at all. they couldnt arrange an engineer because their systems were down. also when signed up was to a deal where i get sky cinema for £7.99 instead of £11.99 per month. i did not receive this offer at all. nobody at customer service could seem to tell me how to apply this. awful experience with them. stay well away

Really wish I had read the reviews before signing up to this. The broadband is almost unusable, it drops out every couple of minutes. To use the WiFi I have to sit next to the router, might as well have a wired connection. Customer service were excellent when I was ordering the service, but when trying to complain they were less so, they didn’t even answer the phone.

Things that have gone wrong:
1. NowTV misdelivered my router, by spelling my name wrong.
2. Openreach engineer could not connect our house to the fibre cabinet on the first visit.
3.Open reach engineer did not escalate the issue to NowTV. Instead job was falsely marked as 'complete'.
4. Upon our followup with NowTV, they realise the job is not complete and aim to schedule an engineer within 3-5 days.
5. There has been no attempt to address the issue of the late connection or the false updates.
Where possible, go with a better supplier. My prior one is hyperoptic, and their service was fabulous.
