Moved back to Plusnet after the worst 18 month stint with postoffice broadband. Everything took place exactly as promised, I was notified of provisioning in good time and my broadband speed has jumped to at least 5 times the speed it was on postOffice (pobroadband is Talktalk in disguise).

    Very pleased overall.

I have just had a very helpful PlusNet technical support person called Jack Grainge Canter in Leeds talk me through a very frustrating problem I had with no internet connection at all. Jack was friendly, extremely helpful and patient. I was answered immediately and think that PlusNet is very good. I especially like being able to talk to somebody in the UK who can talk me through the problem. Thanks again.

Just swapped from sky to super fast fibre. Was a little worried after reading all the negative comments but a very smooth changeover. I received texts and emails to keep me upto date, router arrived 2 days before and as arranged everthing was up and working by 3pm yesterday afternoon. Just done a speed test on my samsung tablet, 50.4MB download and 19.4MB upload a mssive imprvement from my sky broadband of 11.6MB down and 1.2MB up. Very pleased

After 2 years with Plusnet I made the mistake of thinking I could get better/faster deal though a competitor but the promises of faster speeds were empty promises. I soon realised my mistake so activated my 14 day cooling off period then called Plusnet to see if there was anything they could do for me. They were amazing and welcomed me back, fixing all the damage I'd done along the way. Thank you Sheetal for your kindness and efficiency. It's good to be back!

Into my second month now with PN.
What a difference to the slow offering I had previously from Sky.
Change over went exactly as I was advised, router landed when they said it would, Openreach chaps came and did their bit when I was told they would (they were actually an hour early!).
I was overcharged on my first bill by £5, but a couple of emails later, that was credited back to me.
Getting Fibre free for 6 months is a great bonus, and at a cost of £5 or more less than Sky, I can't fault PN (And their fibre speed is twice what Sky could deliver)
    Well done Plus net.

I switched to Plusnet on 28th April after many years of shoddy service from TalkTalk. I have the fibre package and am so far very impressed. The router arrived on time and my service was activated on the date specified. I was expecting speed to be a bit slow for the first few days as they see what line can handle, but within an hour of going live I was getting 38 Mbps download speed. I have been over the moon with my wireless speeds as they were pitiful with TalkTalk (even though I had fibre with them), some days I wouldn't even get 1 Mbps download speed, but with Plusnet I've been consistently getting over 30 Mbps on WiFi with my phone and tablet, often it is 37 Mbps! I have had a fault with my phone occur today, no dial tone and can't make or receive calls, but I managed to speak to their technical support team on my mobile and they were very helpful and efficient, so hopefully it will be fixed soon. It is a breath of fresh air to speak to someone in the UK who doesn't sound like they are reading a script and has genuine concern for the customer. My only regret is not moving to Plusnet years ago.

We signed up to Plusnet Fibre Extra and Phoneline (£27.95 18 Month Contract, no Connection Fee via a USwitch Exclusive Offer) on 19/2 and the service went live, as planned, on 5/3. Everything worked fine except Caller ID but this was resolved within an hour of me posting a message in the Community Forum. The service has been very stable, once the 10 day line testing was completed we now get a very consistent 72Mb at any time of day. However, in common with several other new customers we didn’t receive an email within 10 days of our service starting to claim our Reward Card but this has now been resolved and the card is on its way, The Hub One Router is OK, it’s perhaps not quite as powerful as our previous SSE Router (who we sadly had to leave because of increasingly rigid evening throttling). Overall we are very happy with the Plusnet service.

We were in the process of changing over to Plusnet unfortunately we had to cancel with Plusnet, they were most accommodating & helpful during the process. The cancellation being due to BT contract also no communication or help what so ever from BT.

I’ve been with Plusnet for six years and am really happy with them as my broadband provider. My internet works perfectly most of the time, the few times I’ve had issues they have sorted them out really quickly. They are easy to get hold of on the phone (don’t have to wait too long in the queue), the customer service is excellent - they are friendly, helpful and quick to find a solution. I just upgraded from standard to Fibre broadband with Plusnet and it went without a hitch - had an issue setting up the new router but they answered my call within minutes and provided a solution immediately, now I have superfast internet. Really happy with Plusnet, so glad I decided to renew with them.

I was with plusnet for a year and received wonderful customer service and fast Wi-fi. I moved to another city in the UK and unfortunately there was a lot of complications surrounding getting plusnet set up at this location. Therefore I decided to switch provider. I was very concerned I would have to pay a leaving fee as I was still in contract to plusnet. However I spoke to a wonderful customer service advisor Chris Sanderson who was absolute excellent. The fee was cancelled as they appreciated they were unable to provide Wi-fi at the new location and as a sign of good will. Unbelievably happy with the service plusnet provided and would recommend them to anyone. If I move again to an area with plusnet I would certainly look to setting up a Wi-fi account with them again.

Despite many bad reviews on plusnet I made the move 4 months ago because I thought nothing can be worse than BT who I spent over 30 hours on the phone to trying to get what I was paying for, plus 3 engineers in the house. BY actually cut off my phone line 3 days before the switch to plusnet and plusnet came to fix that instantly once I had figured out what was going on. The switch was really easy (and I get easily annoyed with stuff like that!) and we have had no problems with it at all. We are three fairly heavy users in the house, two teenagers gaming and one doing a lot of website work with a lot of uploads. With BT we used to have a definite throttle on weekends, especially Sundays and their latest router wouldn't reach as far as my office (in a tiny house) and I needed a wifi booster. Now all this is fine and we couldn't be happier - and we are paying less too!

Been with plusnet for a couple of years after having a terrible customer services experience with BT. Had a fault with my internet and expected nightmares to contact plusnet. Phoned through on an 0800 number and spoke to a English speaking assistant. They tested the line, found a fault, sent out an Engineer to resolve which was all done in a few days. I was constantly updated with the progress and would highly recommend Plusnet.

I have nothing but positive for Plusnet, I moved to them from Virginmedia because I was sick of the constant bill increases and dire TV. I wa sharply watching TV and used broadband mainly at night, paying around £50 plus a month from a quoted a £35 a month, After 20 years of loyal service I tried to get a cheaper package but Virgin wouldn't go there so I made the jump. So far so good and I've been with Plusnet since april.. there's been no prbs, internet is fine and being used a lot, customer service has been fine and my bills are a healthy £25 to £28 a month. Much happier

I've had plus net for about 3 months now swapping from BT who I felt were expensive....I was concerned about the reviews but as they seemed to be similar to BT I thought I'd take the chance...I've had absolutely no problems at all, the transfer was trouble free and the service has been faultless. They are a good bit cheaper and I can still get BT sport which I wanted.

I've been with plusnet for about four years, my broadband speed has always been at the theoretical maximum for where I live, and reliability has been excellent. customer service have been helpful, haven't needed them much. I'm looking around here to check out BT who seem to be cheaper by a few pounds per month, but reviews of all providers on this site seem to be dire! Plusnet have been ok for me, I'm a happy customer so far.

PlusNet are a Great service provider. I was with Virgin, who were fast, but unreliable. I'd lose connection for several hours most weeks. Then I went to Sky. They were reliable, but while they advertised 60mbs, (which it was at the hub), I got only 35 mbs when I tried wireless, and just 5.7 mbs when upstairs away from the hub. Now, with Plusnet, I get the reliability of Sky, with the speed of Virgin, and at a cost lower than both Sky and Virgin. Unless they really jack up the prices, I am staying put. Thoroughly recommended.

Always a bit of a gamble jumping ship when changing broadband supplier. You never know if you will get what is advertised. Anyway, I went from sky broadband to Plusnet Cable and I cannot fault anything.

Speed is as promised. You can do speed tests but the best way to check it is to monitor the speed on your PC LAN port (I use Bitmeter) while uploading and downloading to google photos as google have the infrastructure capacity to max out your broadband connection for a sustained period and Plusnet are giving me what was promised. 36Mb DL and 6Mb UL.

Customer service kept me informed all the way. I'm very impressed and saving money at the same time.

I’ve been with plusnet for well over 10 years as I’ve always managed to get onto a good deal at renewal. Even moving house with them was easy. Just recently upgraded to fttp and service went a bit awry, however a call with their support team has got it resolved. Has no issue getting through to them. Whenever I call them pick up is quick. Tech support do a call back from a text bot service and say it will be within 30 mins. My call was more like 10 mins. Very happy with their customer support.

I have been with Force 9 (a.k.a. Plusnet) since the days of 33k modems, and they have consistently performed well over the years. I now get ~17Mbps which is exactly as expected given the 1.2km length of copper to cabinet 10. Plusnet can do no more than the BT Who;esale owned copper wires allow.
When I have had problems, at least can talk to decent Yorkshire call centers who have always got things sorted for me. They get my vote.

Just switched to Plusnet from Sky, purely because of price. So far so good after reading lots of negatine reviews on various review sites.Phone line was reinstated within 2 hours of being switched off at 8.00am by Sky. The brochure supplied with the router does state that internet could be anytime upto midnight on the day of the changeover so wasn't too concerned when it wasn't working by 1.30pm. However the booklet says they will inform you by e.mail when it becomes aavailable. How do you get e.mails without the internet?,so I gave them a call which was answered reasonably quickly and effiently by their helpdesk and he said he would "keep his eye on it" and call me when it was ready. At 7.30pm I was getting a bit "tetchy" so I gave them another call.I did have to wait about 10mins to get answered and was told, very politely, that it was ready at 4.10pm but someone had not flicked the switch! A small error that could have been avoided but on the two calls I made they were both handled efficiently and very politely. If anything does go wrong I'll be on the review site and let you know

Internet went down. Called helpline phone answered after one ring, engineer visited next day, was kind and courteous explained everything. He did a temporary fix as the wire coming out the ground was too short to fix. Three days later another engineer came, dug up the path replaced the wire under ground and returned path to normal. Outstanding service I will recommend this company to all.

Just a small problem with an amnesiac third party router. Kyle was great - just talked me through the process and made sure I had all the necessary details for a quick fix. Excellent - previous service issue was solved promptly and politely too.

Compared with my last provider, plusnet is excellent, I was always having to switch it off and back on to get wifi, which is all I want. With Plusnet, I don't have to do that any longer as it's never dropped since I first plugged it in, also, it's half the price, first class, hence 5 stars.

Generally I find overall Plusnet service to of a very good standard. Broadband has been very reliable over the months we have been with them and on the two occassions that we have required customer service then they have been very helpful. Extremely pleased withe overall service.
