Awful customer service, rude arrogant. Consistent lies, I know about IT and network speeds as I work in the IT industry myself. When reporting issues with speed I was told it is our problem deal with it. complete refusal to do anything, so at the moment we are paying £45 a month for half the speed we should be getting. Soon as contract is up, we will be leaving for another provider. Shockingly bad!!!

Sky Internet is literally the worst provider ever. We have been disconnected from our broadband six times this week, their customer support sounds like you're talking to robots and here's the worst part:

I was promised a 55Mbps connection, and I've got the speed of like 500Kb/s even on Ethernet. There's nothing wrong with my computer or my router's position, it's the complete company of idiocy known well as Sky. And the bills are totally shocking!

I like Sky TV but it's a no go for their broadband. Even AOL back in the 90's was better than this complete and utter rubbish.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have this rule book which is made to check mate customer and not really to help. Customer service chat is ALWAYS BUSY. the department should be renamed as CUSTOMER HARASSMENT department. INstalling dish is thr problem, but removing is yours, obviously thats a additional cost to you, but then HEY its CUSTOMERS PROBLEM.

BIG TIME DISPPOITMENT-IF ANYONE WATCHING, NEVER EVER GO FOR THIS SKY TV.

If you are here because you are considering moving to Sky, we'll done for remembering to check the reviews first because you've just saved yourself a lot of time mainly, but money, despair, frustration and even relationship problems as you would have had to spend at least 3 hours per week on the phone to the incredulously pathetic team of customer service agents, who are highly trained experts in the field of passing-the-buck and lying mostly. I've had intermittent broadband since day one, which is more often OFF than ON and my 2 increasingly frustrated teenagers let me know each time it goes off! We're averaging 10 times a day! Hours spent repeatedly carrying out their futile tests! On the upside, I can now remove a faceplate from a phone socket ....with my eyes shut! Seriously, their prices aren't the best, don't be fooled into thinking you'll get good service because it's a massive global company! Oh no! They may as well be a 2-bit outfit in one of the end shops of Scunthorpe's high street! Sky is proof that there are exceptions to the old adage "you get what you pay for!" Again, well done for doing your homework before joining them, I wish I had! I have 2 months left on my contract but I am paying another provider for my services, seeing as Sky can't! Run for the hills.....GO! (Do you like what I did there?)

I was a sky tv and broadband customer for 4 years and I have just cancelled the broadband. The broadband is slow and unstable, the box is absolute crap. I wanted to switch to fibre optic and called sky up to see what they could do. At first I was told that there was a fault on my line which was causing slow objection speed. Open reach checked it and said that there was no fault. I called up again, as there was no fixable reason for the slow broadband. So I was offered fibre optic, each time I called the operators had problem activating the offer so each time I told them I wanted to cancel. I was offered fibreoptic 3 times before eventually being told it wasn't even available in my area. So I cancelled (again). A couple of days before my broadband was due to cancel, I had a change of heart and decided (god knows why) to give sky another change. I called up, was offered quite a good deal and decided to reinstate the broadband and was told tgat it would be fully working in 2 days. Only for them to cancel it anyway 2 days later. I called again, nobody had activated the new offer. Angry at this I asked how long it would take to reinstate, I was told 1 to 3 weeks. Which us too long for anyone to wait. So I called talk talk, who promised the broadband will be working in 1 week.
I feel that sky need to treat customers better, I had been with them for 4 years and have never experienced such bad customer service. Barely any of their advisors know what they are doing, I also spoke to a manager who had no compensation to offer for tgeir mess up or the countless times I have called to be told different things from different people.

Sky is utterly abysmal. DO NOT pay for their shocking broadband, it will result in a total lack of a reasonable Internet connection and annoying sky service bothering you all the time. Don't make the same mistake I did.
