    Infuriating!!! After signing up nearly a year ago, and having intermittent broadband on most days, appalling customer services (typically spending over an hour each call) with no resolution after multiple calls. I am pulling my hair out. Call centre seems to be India with sunny personalities reading from a script, not listening or being helpful ultimately. I escalated to senior manager on several occasions, but to no avail. Stay away from Talktalk is my advice!

    DON'T DO IT!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
    I have recently moved house and upgraded my package where I recieved a quote for £31.65/month. The calls have been recorded and the package has been confirmed by the agent. After setting up everything the agreed package were not supplied. The agent gave my a missleading quoatition and I am very fustrated that after making the deal with TalkTalk I am not supplied with the agreed package. After talking with the Manager who was not able to help me I was considering to leave them forever as a customer, but even that i have given 30 days to change my mind they wanted to charge me £600. It is absolutely unacceptable what TalkTalk is doing and left me with no choice but to go to the ombudsman.
    Don't go for TalkTalk guys!!!!

    Promise a lot but deliver not a lot. Customer service non existent although very good with apologies and expect the customer to do all the necessary work from home with still no resolution

    I regreted going with talk talk in the first 2 weeks it stopped work everytime you ring there customer services it takes 10 mins to actually speak to someone and then when u do they dont listen to you do the same stuff over and over , i have now rung them well over 20 times in 8 months had to engineers out and still i get 2mb 2! My girlfriend lives a 2 min walk away from me and gets 32 mb with talk talk , ive had enough have offered me no discounts or anything waste of time save your money and go somewhere else . Disgusting and useless

    If only there was a minus button. Absolutely terrible. Add on broadband to my account, wait weeks for an engineer appointment, an its a no show. Spend 55mins on phone to talk talk for them to tell me my broadband is working and active. I explained, how can my broadband be working without a router!!! I have now to wait another 3 - 5 working days for a router. Wish id read all these bad reviews before switching! Total joke of a company!

    Though the broadband works well here the customer service is a nightmare. If you have any issues be prepared to waste hours. I originally rang them which was painful. I then went to using the chat feature but that seems to have got worse an worse. Spent two hours just trying to get one answer which in the end was a one liner! And once you want to leave you better book a day off work!!!!

    I tried for more then a week just to cancel the contract it didn’t happened customer service are from another planet they don’t listen to you . I never go to then even if there no other providers.

    Worst customer experience I've had in a long time.

    Someone took over our line without authorisation, so our Internet with BT was taken over by talk talk.

    When I call talk talk about it, they can't do anything or give me any details because I can't get past the idiots in customer services. Foreign based call centre with poor english skills, none of the operators could understand the problem. None would pass me to a manager.

    Worse broadband ever. We ordered it 1.5 months ago and it has been working 20% of the time. 80% of the time it has not been working. Provider blames a variety of issues. One day is loose cables in a electric cupboard the next day it is downtime in the area. Will never use it again and won*t recommend it to anyone

    Worst customer ever
    . They lie saying they will contact you but they dont. unusable brodband bright sparks engineer came, told me the problem was outside. No answer from talk talk even after ringing them several times.
    Moving to BT. Save your money everything is ok with talk talk until you have a problem.

    Wow, Just phoned to cancel order after reading reviews. After speaking to an Asian gentleman, He put me through to an English guy who was asking me questions. Why did I want to leave Etc. He was rude, Obnoxious. I can't believe his attitude, So glad I cancelled in time.

    This company is the worst ive ever dealt with they continue billing me despite me saying ive left property into temporary accommodation ive asked to cancel and they have not. today i asked for it to be moved to temporary accommodation and they not helping they keep billing me ive had enough it really upsetting companies like this exist. customer service is very very poor. Im just stuck i really dont know how i get through to them

    What a total disaster Talk Talk are.....ive been with them for about 10 years and in addition to poor broadband quality its been 10 years of continual and regular contract and billing problems which ive spent several weeks of my life on the phone to them trying to resolve..They keep bouncing you around the world talking to numerous people who cant talk English who seem completely powerless to help or fail to action the remedy which was agreed....Im now into another billing problem with them which they have tried to sweep under the carpet by opening a new 12 month contract for me which was never discussed or agreed....What a total shambles they are and only reason I haven't changed to another supplier is fear that they might be even worse than TT...not that that could be possible !!!

    My land line went dead. I reported to talk talk and within 4 and half hours I had spoken to a very nice lady had two texts a open reach engineer arrived and sorted the problem. As people only seem to leave reviews when they have had bad service I felt it should be mentioned when it is good

    Have been with AOL then TalkTalk for many years. Look to switch at each renewal but with the experiences I have had with problem solving being satisfactory and consistent fibre speeds I have stayed with them. Better the devil you know!

    Lousy slow service on adsl, poor customer service with recurring problems with routers dropping connection multiple times per day, the only way to get a new router seems to be to agree to sign for further 18 month contract of pain. This is only after a prolonged scripted conversation with multiple people asking if you have tried switching things off and on again aargh! Super router promised to fix all and just as crap as the others. They try and palm the tv box readily for free with new contracts as this incurs and even bigger charge if you want to cancel, luckily I dodged this one and virgin able to levy almost all the cancellation charge of my first bill!

    The worst broadband provider ever. 1 star is far too good for this company. DO not use Talk Talk. Terrible! Eventually managed to convince them to terminate my contract and refund me some money. And even then they continued charging me. Staff don't speak English. Just awful. 100% avoid.

    Had no internet since my go live date for fibre 3 weeks ago. Customer service is a joke. I've never felt so angry about a company. Take a look at all the reviews. Pay a few quid more and go with someone else! Ive actively found review sites to warn people as I'm fuming! as they have breached the contract in there is no service they are allowing me to get out without charge. I suggest everyone else does the same. Hope they go bust!

    Service drops out all the time. Dealing with their customer service is a totally miserable experience. DON'T use them. If you have a problem it is actually easier just to switch provider than try to resolve it with Talk Talk.

    Their internet service itself is not too bad while it is working. But I am currently have a fault outside my home and have no broadband at the moment. I have reported a fault 9 days ago, already had 2 engineer visits booked and they did not turn up both times, and now I have third one booked. Will they turn up??? I will definitely consider to find broadband provider who can fix their faults within few days, not weeks.

    I just would like to say that I found customer service really friendly and helpful... I've read your opinions bout broadband and I've decided to cancel my contract with them... But I cant say that customer service is rubbish as some1 ve said ... They r lovely:)

    In my opinion Talk Talk are a complete disaster....the Broadband and Telephone service performance is pretty poor but the worst thing is the customer service and billing errors.....it takes numerous calls and many hours to even try and sort out the most simple of errors on their part....which then they still don't seem to be able to sort out....the worst was when they incorrectly took £399.63 from my account for supposedly cancelling a contract when in fact the contract had already run out very long before....and it took approximately 4 months and several hundred calls to various people located in Manilla and South Africa and else where to get the money back.....I just don't understand how they survive....and if you value your time and your sanity then you will think twice before joining them considering the number of other providers available.....

    Had four separate issues with talk talk where I have lost connection or had no speed. This one been going on for two weeks. For this one alone I have spent hours on their chat and telephone trying to sort out and get an engineer from outreach to attend. 2 weeks without broadband. They are unhelpful and and on the chat is the worst as they ask the same questions over and over again. It takes at least 45 minutes then they say I run a test.

    AWFUL company, avoid at all costs!!

    Customer service is dreadful, we was a new customer and was treated poorly. They cancelled our order without informing us and without confirmation from us.

    "Wayne Anthony" the complaints manager kept making excuses and was not apologetic.

    Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Inconsistent staff, broken promises, constant lying and overall very poor service. Can not believe this company still has customers. It would be in the interest of the consumer to shut Talk Talk down and start again with customer service training and that goes right to the top. The only great thing is that hundred of people feel the same way about Talk Talk so at least you know when they are abrupt and rude down the phone to you that its not just you they treat like this!

    Seriously!!!! What is wrong with the 'customer service staff' TalkTalk! ?!!!! Bill paid 5 days ago, extra fine applied on a balance of zero AFTER paying?! And despite paying a month in ADVANCE, they see no issue with sending ANOTHER bill 5 days after the 'late payment charge' is applied PRIOR TO THE BILL HAVING BEEN CREATED LET ALONE DUE?!..... seriously, no saving to be had here, you'll pay the same as leading providers once they've applied sneaky fees and enjped taking double payments through your direct debit. No customer service, no UK call centers, no empathy, remorse or apologetic gesture of goodwill, just a 30 minute phone bill to a premium rate number. Absolute joke, especially when the speed is slow AF and cuts out totally most days! 12 months of hellish stress later to find that due to taking advantage of the 'generous new customer price match' deal this hellish life sentence of a contract continues for an extra 12 months! !!! Be prepared to Scream Scream with Talk Talk.

    When I first transferred to Talk Talk I was getting reasonable speeds of around 25MB which for our area is reasonably good.
    Now I am lucky to get 18MB and that is with a 'BOOST' add on which they charge me £5 per month for the privilege.
    What is even worse is that the signal constantly drops, at least every hour it loses all internet signal and I have to wait between 1 to 5 mins for it to come back online.
    It is so desperate as I run a business from home that I have taken to using my mobile phone as a hot spot to stay online and get any speed.

    Have had three connections issues in the last month. Lost 4 days of work. Talk talk have ran 7 tests before they were willing to send an engineer and now still no connection. Been on their chat for hours and them asking the same questions over and over again. I am so fed up and they are unhelpful and will not help. Still no connection and still no engineer. Issue been going on repeatable for months. This is the worst one as no connection for 4 days. Although apparently someone will ring me on the 6th October. Terrible am so upset, need to work and can’t.

    Went to switch to talktalk but noticed their estimated speed was a third my current and previous supplier... Contacting customer services, all they said is "you can't currently be getting the higher speed" REALLY? and just said "let it go live and see" so then I'll be out of cancellation period and stuck with rubbish broadband for a year!
    Cancelled and now waiting advance line rental refund, 10 days to return yet they were quick to take the £172.20 over 2 weeks before my go live date!
    Stay well clear!

    Apauling customer service from Talk Talk. I’m a new customer and thought it was a great deal so set up my account and booked a day where an engineer can come install everything. I told them that I work 8-4 Monday-Friday so could I A) have a later visit from the engineer and B)Have my tv box delivered to a different address. I was told none of this would be a problem. Today I find out they have tried to deliver my box to the address I didn’t want them sending it too! I rang them to try get the box delivered to a address I wanted it too and was told they couldn’t help me I could olny talk to their delivery people. I can’t speak to them as it’s all automated! Disgusting customer service. After nearly 2 hours on the phone I have given up and have no idea if I’ll ever get a tv box and router!

    If I could give 0 stars for for some categories I would - 1 is definitely on the generous side.

    My advice would be to avoid at all cost. There are always better options than this company.

    Applied to transfer addresses and upgrade to fibre. Simple right? Wrong. Two days later get a message saying sorry you cancelled ( I hadnt). Had to sign up to a whole new account. A pain but gotta be done only took an hour on the phone.... Guess what happened two days later? Your new Connection has been cancelled. The laugh was that they expected me to go through it all again and set up a third account!!! Hopeless, hopeless company. Hello Virgin.

    I have yet to be impressed by Talktalk, they have done nothing but mess us about! We paid for an upgrade to which they took the payment and also said it would start on a date, then the day before the date we receive an email to say it'd be another 2 weeks until our upgrade starts! Day of the upgrade, NO upgrade, we then receive an email to say an engineer would be out the following day between 8-1pm its half 12 and nothing! Whilst all this is going on, there are numerous phone calls to which we are past from pillar to post!! I would not advise anyone to go with company, we're looking to move company! UNIMPRESSED!!

    Utterly appalling. I was duped into using talktalk as their broadband deals were at the time very good. However! It has been nothing but hell since then. Talktalk took over 5 months to return credit on my account! Their customer service is awful. Bunch of idiots that don't understand anything unless it's on a script in front them. Do not use them in any instance. Even if they pay you, do not use them! Horrendous experience and by far the worst broadband provider I have used, ever!

    For months now i've had crackling on the land line that stops my internet connection.Had many egineers come out,even had inbuilt filter installed.Talktalk then say my problem should be fixed.I get a few hrs of no crackling then back to normal.Contract runs out March2015 but so want to leave talktalk because not happy with the service i am getting.Why should i pay penalty for leaving talktalk when they are so rubbish.If i brought a car & it kept braking down i'd want my money back.I would never recommend talktalk to a friend.

    You DISGUSTING! i have been on hold for longer than 2hrs. I dont usually right reviews! But this is just taking my whole life away! I called you 5times to tell u that my internet is not working! Ur passing me from one person to the other! Stupid stupid service now u wanna tell me that ur shut! It is 9.40!!! You still got 20mins before u close!
