DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They are 7 days late with my router and TV. I still don't have it. I keep calling them and the customer service received is disgusting. Not happy in the slightest. Keep getting told "oh it will be with you tomorrow". It never is. Ridiculous.

This company is the worst ive ever dealt with they continue billing me despite me saying ive left property into temporary accommodation ive asked to cancel and they have not. today i asked for it to be moved to temporary accommodation and they not helping they keep billing me ive had enough it really upsetting companies like this exist. customer service is very very poor. Im just stuck i really dont know how i get through to them

I am unhappy at all with their service. My broad band keeps cutting off and I have to change to my mobile data most of the time when I am planning to do something important like paying my bills online because I am worried that the connection will stop half way through the process and I have to repeated it again.I keep complaining about it and when ever I chat or call the same check and the same procedure but no difference. The broad band start to work ok for few days and the same problem starts again.
When I chat with the agent they keep advertising about another expensive broad band option which is I am not interested in.
I am planning to leave them.

So I’ve just joined and am not happy at all! They are rude on the phone, don’t care about customer service at all and one of them even lied about what they were doing! Signal is awful too had to ring up about 4 times within two weeks! Wish I never looked at this company! Beware!! AVOID

Very poor customer services. Tried for two days before I managed to get hold of someone. Despite the website indicating a customer care line available until 10 pm, I received a message saying unavailable at the moment. Tried the app no success... maintenance on website...and so it went. Finally got hold of someone to arrange a home move. Then they got the date wrong which meant I would be without internet for a month! Asking them to adjust and correct the date I was told they can’t do that and the whole one hour conversation was for nothing as the only way to fix it is to cancel it completely and that I need to phone back the following day!!! Very very poor service and it makes me cross that I need to pay to get out of my 12 month contract with them. Stay away definitely not recommending them as internet provider.

Absolutely the worst experience iv ever had, I sincerely never want to sign up with these guys again, rather pay twice as much then to depend on talk talk... anyone reading this be advised that your not going to get whats promised and then the customer service and the broadband are the eorst iv experienced. Do not waste your time.....from day one when the brand new faulty router was delivered..nothing but issues.
Every evening broadband grinds to a halt.

Dear all,
Please try to avoid this company ,one off the worst company I never seen in my life ,if you try to explain your problem no one leasons to u and customer service was zero,no one knows how to handle the problems including the managers I spoken to shift engenier manager on 25jan at8.30am was so rude
They are try to charge for £70 without my knowledge and I don't have service for two weeks, no internet and TV
Same time my land phone wasn't working for two months,
I complained on November , engenier came to fix that problem but they want to charge engineer fee in too my account,can you believe this
Still I got pictures in my Mobil to show the proof when first engineer came fix the the service ,he doesnt know
Very careful if u got account with them please check u r direct debit,
Every single customer will face this problems in the future
Me personally I don't recommend this company to anyone,

Absolutely terrible!! Please stay away.
I have tried Talk Talk Broadband (the 'fast' fibre optic option) at two separate locations in the United Kingdom. The speed is terrible, it cuts off regularly, the routers are unreliable and forget about simple browsing at peak times 6-9pm weekdays - they drop your speed to 0.5mb/s when you pay for 30+mb/s. Forget about their customer service trying to help you! Plus a lot of call scammers from India target TalkTalk customers.
I have been with PlusNet for a year now and I cannot recoomend them more. A world of difference between talktalk's third world internet and PlusNet's broadband (fast, reliable, speed never drops)

I really do not understand "HOW" when you have signed up to a "FIXED PRICE CONTRACT" your provider can "HIKE" the cost of your service less than 6 months into your 18 month term and with a "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT" attitude that frankly stinks, to then blame this rise on kids home schooling due to Covid absolutely shameful.
What I find absolutely galling though, if as a new customer you sign up for a new contract you get a gift card which when taken from the overall monthly cost of their service means said new customer is actually paying less than a customer who finds themselves in the same position as I now find myself in, i.e paying for said "Gift Card"
Here is a suggestion "TalkTalk" by all means offer new customers incentives to sign with you but not at the expense of existing customers, in this way you may find your customers will actually stay with and recommend you rather than spending their time looking for alternative providers. I for one cannot wait to get away from you now, your Customer Service is wanting to say the least.

Shockingly abismal service! Customer services are obviously all over the world - very seldom get to speak to anyone remotely understandable! Further, constantly given inaccurate information, then further, conflicting yet still, inaccurate information! Website utterly useless - leads you to believe tasks are accomplished when in fact they are not! After 6 weeks, I'm changing providers!! The worst service I've ever encountered! Stunned its possible to be so ineffective!

I have been with talktalk a number of years. The broadband has always been slow and cuts out. I have fibre but it makes no difference. I am within 10 metres of the main juction box on the road. I have spent over two weeks Caught up in Web of lies from your customer services team. Only to receive some generic letter from them, that's full of Blah blah blah sorry you had a bad experience. They didn't even mention my complaint within the letter.
My problems were as follows still not sorted-
1. £65 charging for NOT fixing my line-
2. Taking said £65 without notification or consent -
3. Calling my number and hanging up when I answered. Then reporting on my account unable to contact customer- a lie
4. Calling me from said number 08009555511 on my mobile and say
that that number was not their's and saying the other calls were not them either. Another lie
5. Said they would fully investigate and forward full report to me with action taken- yet another lie
What do I get - lie upon lie; a generic letter; more bad phone calls; & still have a bad phone line and slow broadband.
I dread calling them to try and fix this continuios problem

Since joining 4 months ago I haven't been able to register for my online account due to their security problems. Now registration appears to be possible except the process doesn't work, I can only get halfway through as I am not receiving the code by email to let me complete my registration. Therefore if I have a query I have to call as I cannot do anything online. I think altogether I have spent a few hours on the phone to their customer service staff trying to solve various queries. Half the time you can't understand what they are saying as it sounds muffled and their accents are not clear either. they are slow and don't seem to know what they are doing. They are pleasant enough but fairly useless, taking hours to try and resolve problems. I have just spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to 3 different people just trying to get £1.90 back for a paper bill charge (which was supposed to be free because I cannot register and see my bill online) and to get my registration complete. I have the credit but still am not registered so will probably have more problems in the future. Its just not worth the hassle and I will be looking for another provider.

Supporting my cousin after her return from hospital, I noted her Talk Talk bill on a counter. £44 per month. At 77 she has no computer and does not need broadband. I called to see if I could get her a better deal. Unfortunately, the Loyalty dept was unable to access any deal via her account and I was asked to call back in a few hours. It should also be noted that because the call centre is located in way outside the UK, the delay when communicating is difficult to get used to. My second call went unanswered despite waiting for well over an hour. Result? My cousin has left Talk Talk. Result!!! She is now paying £24 per month - almost half the price. Get your act together Talk Talk

just had talk talk broadband fitted phoned them up to ask date and how much was going to come out my bank direct debit my package was 18 pound a month wat to hell these robbing cunts took 89 pound out my bank i went crazy stopped my direct debit that is theft told my bank what they have done woman at bank said she going to stop the payment luckely i went in the bank the day they had withdrawn it disgusting company how many more people they doing that to they cannot get away with that please read this and beware do not go with this company

Talk Talk are a Company that cares about their customers. I was given excellent service they were able to resolve my problem and I was highly impressed by the office staff who dealt with my difficulty the lady went that extra mile to resolve the problem that had occurred. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends.

Talk talk are a disgrace , paid my account direct debit every month and have bank statements to prove it . When I cancelled my contract due to moving house which I informed them of they billed me over £200 ! I have not had an explanation what this is for . The customer service is non existent , you can tell the staff have a script that they stick to, and it's impossible to speak to anyone that is willing to help . They will bill you as they see fit and then will do whatever it takes to get that fictional amount off you!! Bend over backwards to get your custom , do not want to know when there's problems . Be warned this is a very dodgy company don't get involved !!!! My problems with this company have been going on for two years !!! This company needs investigating !!

I contacted there customer service department to cancel due to finding a cheaper and better deal. The person I spoke to tried to offer me further deals even after explaining serveral times I just waned to cancel. After he had told he had done it I thought I would use their live chat service to check. That agent confirmed my contract actually hasn't been cancelled. Furious. They said they would transfer my chat to their loyalty team. Once transferred I had to explained everything again to cancel. Each time I asked to cancel they gave me different excuses why my contract couldn't be cancelled. Finally after 40 minutes and talking to 3 different people it was finally cancelled. I will never use this company again. Terrible customer service.

Just switched to talk talk but so far, my main line only has 24.96Mb and my other computer in the lounge, ie less than 10 metres away from main lounge, together with a wifi booster only has 2.4 Mb speed. I was not even able to have banking and some pages don't load regularly. Very poor.

Absolutely shocking. Often went down and no explanation or compensation. I finally cancelled as am moving out of my flat and gave them 3 weeks notice, which the rep confirmed it would actually need to be 30 days notice, which was fine. They cancelled my service that day, so now have no wifi and given covid and being stuck at home it. When I complained they said I woudl have to sign up on a new sales contract even though was their fault. Would never use them again.

Took up the offer earlier last month - free Amazon Prime and broadband fibre for £25.50 per month. Oh they were quick to send out the equipment and the set up was pretty straight forward. Then..........once they have got you tied in........it all then goes wrong.... My broadband is either not working, has poor upload/download speeds averaging at 8 to 12 mb and I have spent hours on the technical webchat. Totally useless. Two engineer appointments booked, waited in on both days between 0800-1300 and no one turned up! Then they have the cheek to send texts to say the engineer has been!!!! Incredulous!!! If you want to introduce stress and wasted time into your life Talk Talk are the company to go to. Terrible - don't be conned by the special offer. I still have no broadband with TalkTalk, ANOTHER third engineer slot is booked for 1st October (let's hope it is third time lucky!). If you want to throw money and time down the drain.......you know where to go to! TalkTalk are treating customers with such disdain, disregard and lack of care - again don't be conned..............

I have to say talk talk has to be one of the worst internet providers in the Uk, and I didn't even manage to get mine installed before I had to just cancel the entire order all together. No customer care at all, left me waiting in my house for four hours and when I called them to ask where the engineer was they had the cheek to tell me there was a delay, and someone would contact me the following day! This is after I had already ordered 3 weeks before and they for no reason cancelled my order. Never ever go with the talk talk they are a shambles of a company. Thanks to their little games of not contacting me and keeping me informed on what was happening I've missed my daughters school show! So talk talk you are on my blackmlist and I will encourage anyone who I talk to to never use your internet.

I have had the talk talk Fibre 65 broadband connection for the past 3 weeks and it’s been consistently low. While Talk Talk claim to have an average speed of 67 mbps I am only getting 28mbps speed. Their engineer attended today , which I had to pay for , and confirmed the speed as being approximately 30 mbps. We were informed by the engineer that Talk Talk’s own portal also confirmed the low speed. Called us customer service who are absolutely abysmal at understanding the issue or trying to resolve it.

We have now been without our telephone and broadband service for over 3 weeks and Talk Talk have done nothing about it. All they keep telling us is that it is Open Reach's responsibility to fix the problem and that we need to be patient. Well I'm sorry, I am a customer of Talk Talk, not Open Reach, and I expect the company to whom I pay my bills to do a bit more on my behalf than just tell me to be patient. I have been a Talk Talk customer for many years, but believe me this relationship will not continue.

I am so disgusted and angered by how bad their customer service. Everybody saying the same think, how terrible that call centre is in a foreign land, they simply don't know what they are doing. How can TT get away with this? I'm writing to OFCOM and watchdog. I'm also writing to Dido their CEO.

I am completely disgusted with this company where I have been a loyal customer for 4 years. When a friend of mine told me she had been offered the youview box for nothing extra per month I thought I would call up and see if I could get it too. I was told that I would have to pay an extra £10 a month as I was in a different area which I agreed too. I was also told I needed a new router. A week or so later the engineer came to install the new router which I found was no different to the old one. I then chased up the TV box numerous times and was told there was an issue but no more explanation or apology. Due to my busy work schedule I then gave up but was then disgusted when I received the bill to see I was being charged circa £43 this included the router I never asked for and the TV box I never received. I then emailed a complaint and advised that I would not be paying extra, would cancel my D/D but asked if they could please call me to sort it out and I would be happy to pay my usual £23 at that time. I was then shocked and disappointed to receive an email from Talktalk telling me if I wasn't happy then I should go to another provider and that was it! My services were then cut off, this was 2months ago. Since this time I have sent 2 further complaint emails which have been ignored. I then used the chat facility on the website as I find it hard to find the time to call and when you do the representitives are unhelpful anyway! I was cut off 5 times during the chat session and every time has to explain the whole thing again, not once receiving an apology or resolution. The last person I spoke to who was argumentitive and unprofessional advised me that my bill was now £70!! When I said to him I had been cut off so how can my bill go up he said they hadn't cancelled at their end!! He said he would cancel my contract but could not help with payment or complaints but would log one for me. Again no one contacted me to discuss the matter. I then went on to uswitch and seen that sky had a good deal and most importantly had better reviews than most providers especially rallyalk who were at the bottom. Today I received a letter telling me that I owe £236.07 for cancelling my new contact even though I never asked for a new contract , never received any new services , have been cut off for 2 months, offered to pay what I owe but this wasn't accepted and was told to go to another provider. I then called up to complain to a manager and was told that It was my fault, I was a lier as I hadn't been charged for the TV box, I was then threatened that if I didn't stay with them then I would be charged and I was told I hadn't given them the opportunity to sort it out which was the most laughable statement as they had every opportunity. They also said they had tried to contact me and when I asked by what means they said home phone they had left messages.I can't listen to them in cut off! I had to end up hanging up as I was getting so upset and I'm pregnant and this agree is no good. Bottom line these people are thieves and app unprofessional . I plan to tell anyone who will listen about this and hopefully stop people from making a huge mistake.

Just the worst imaginable customer service. Rude staff that leave you endlessly on hold. They pass you around various agents with no handover. Repeatedly ask security questions. They go out of their way to make ending the contract as difficult and painful as possible. Spent 50 minutes on phone today. Don’t intend ever to have dealings with them again.

SIMPLY AVOID!
If you enjoy your peace of mind. Since i changed over to fibre, their internet is a nightmare. It is almost 2months and they still trying to determine what the issue is. Internet keeps dropping. Very unreliable. Speeds are 2.3Mbps but they advertise 500Mbps.Worse than the previous broadband connection. Been on phone calls for more that 10hrs past 2weeks and still nothing. You will be transferred over and over and put on hold for every question you ask. On complaining the agents just keep insisting the internet speeds cannot be guaranteed over wireless connection. Twice i have spoken with very rude agents, the lady (Louise) was raising her voice and speaking over me throughout the call. I simply concluded by saying lets not take it personally it's just internet. Changing my provider ASAP

Worst company ever. I found out by chance they owe me a refund since 2017 (of course, because why would they make is easy and refund automatically?) and I can't get them to refund it to me without calling expensive numbers to talk to someone. I've been told thay would call me back but never did. Meanwhile they keep my money!!! CROOKS!!!
