    Absolutely awful. Had so many problems that it got to a point where about once a week i would have to ring up to get the modem reset as turning it off and on did nothing . This lasted for about a year or more. Even got about three new modem throughout my time and it made no difference whatsoever. So bad that towards the end of out time with talk talk (and the end of my patience with them!) every day without fail it would disconnect at lest once a day and it was so irritating. Would have to go and reset our modem multiple times a day. When it did work, it was incredibly slow. So bad would definitely not recommend. Have now switched broadband and happier then ever

    Throughout the time we had their services we continuously lost our connection randomly and the connection we did get was slow and erratic despite us paying for high speeds. Their customer service is totally useless, and after everyone moved out of the house TalkTalk refused to cancel the account and carried on charging me despite the fact that I don't live there anymore. And to make things worse they're charging me £200 plus late fees just to close the account, but only after charging me a few more months. When I tried to explain to the customer services the situation, that everyone who was living there had already moved out, and tried to get them to change their minds and close the account they seemed to not care at all and said that I still can't get the account closed until they decide they're going to close it. And they're still going to charge me the disconnection fee plus late fees. And none of this was told to us when we signed up to TalkTalk, in fact we were told we wouldn't have to deal with issues like this and that we can just cancel the account when we move out and it'd all be sorted. We were a bunch of uni students sharing a house and we explained to them that we were all only living there for one more year as we were graduating and leaving the house in a year, to which TalkTalk said that it will be as simple as just letting them know when we're going to leave and they'll close the account for us, and that none of this sort of mess will happen. They mis-sold their services and lied to us. And now we have to pay for it. All for a garbage service that we could have got better from someone else.

    The most rubbish provider going I've had problems from the word go never had a good service landline is rubbish as well, customer service is none existent, They will keep on talking and you will round in circles with them as they don't listen If could go back in time I would not go with them.They are a waste of space!!

    Totally useless, don't waste your money. Poor in all respects, I would not award any stars if it were possible. Trying to have a dialogue with them over a bill but to no avail, now referred to their debt collection company and threatened with legal action.

    I changed my package to super fast and it become worse . More than one device made the internet useless. Now they make me pay £240 for cancellation.

    The most shocking experience of my life getting through this phone call !!!!! Was on a phone to a lady to start with 20 mins and all in that time what happened I had to give my surname 10 times my postcode at least 15 and she responded it was me saying it wrong I said it very slowly and clearly and she wasn't understanding me at all after all that the phone cut of so I had to call back and go through all this again to then be on the line 30 minutes to then be told I after be at home for these checks what a absoulte joke and your broadband is shocking more then one device and that's it plays up if I don't not get a faster response when I call back tonight and some one who can understand me and help me instead of been on the phone hours I will not be paying my next bill and also I have a child who shouts be every 5 minutes you think I have time to repeat my last name and post code 30 times !!!!!!!

    Worst company I’ve ever come across. Do not go with them. They’ll manipulate you to believe their scam is legit!
    2.1mbp average on internet, even tho they state 10mbp on average. NEVER.
    DARK OR DHARL, Patrick, Jacob and Mike From complaint department & loyalty team lies to avoid situation / conflict. Poor poor poor. They charge you £2 extra to stop the no ID call without your authorisation and charges you extra. Took out fibre optic line after they promised it’ll be all fixed and will get the speed I want.........3 weeks down the line no internet.
    Then they said no cooling off period.

    Possibly the worst ISP in the history of the world. Customer Service virtually non existent, and highly unhelpful. If you want your internet to be on and off intermittently throughout the day, 365 days a year, go with TalkTalk. If not, go elsewhere.

    Worst service provider I have ever experienced.
    Been a customer less than 5 months,
    The initial connection was late and faulty, have to reset my router several times every week.
    Had no Internet at all for two weeks in June, no automatic compensation, even though they are signed up to Ofcom compensation scheme.
    Speed is no where near as fast as they quote.
    I've spent literally hours on the phone with them, have been cut off several times.
    Useless, hopeless, pathetic service and terrible, terrible customer service.

    Shocking. I have been with them since july 2019. I am having to get in touch most months to get internet working again. This is such a waste of my time. I rely on internet for work and am sick and tierd of the poor reliability.

    The internet has cut out twice within the last two weeks overnight. I have had to use their chat function to get it back running again. They then spent an hour and a half running tests to try amd fix issue. Nothing was sorted was told to monitor over 48 hours.

    I change provider at end of every contract and have used nearly all of them. This is the worst level of service I have experienced to date. Truely awful.

    Avoid talktalk, customer service is terrible. I've just moved to Swish and they called me within 10 minutes of sending an email. Talktalk dont contact you with the 48 hours they say they will.

    Talktalk has to be the worst internet provider. Never getting the speeds promised unreliable equipment supplied and customer service experience that is so poor that eating dog excrement would be a better experience. Sorry for the bluntness but it is how I feel. So glad to be swapping to someone else

    There are no words. There are no words to describe how unimaginably **** Talk Talk are. Just don't got here.
    I have wasted about 6 hours of my life trying to get a simple straight answer from customer services. No one has a clue what they're doing. FINALLY manage to cancel our broadband after HOURS of 'can you please tell us why you want to leave', switch to SKY, get an email 20 mins later ''Thank you for deciding to stay with Talk Talk - we have received a notification from another provider that you wish to stop your cancellation''. Firstly, no one and no provider should be able to make changes to my account without my permission seeing as I am the account holder and secondly, rang Sky and they said that was complete rubbish, they have no authority to make changes and that its sounds like Talk Talk is having a last attempt at rinsing us. Turns out to be true, rang Talk Talk they are now refusing to continue the current cancellation and can only 'start a new one' with 30 days notice, meaning of course we are liable to pay for another month of the joke of a connection they call broadband. Oh and would like to charge a £150 early cancellation fee, which was waived in the first cancellation attempt due to us being in the 'cooling off period', but now as we are cancelling past 20 days of our go live date we are liable to pay. My recommendation, pay the extra £3 a month for Sky and steer well clear of Talk Talk.

    Absolutely terrible!!! Broadband keeps cutting off end of month. St up direct debit to take money out directly every month still manage to cut connection and charge extra £12.50 to reconnect !!! Stay far away. By far the worst experience I’ve had!

    Absolutely disgraceful company, DO NOT GO WITH THESE RIP OFFS !!!! Charged me 65 quid call out fee to come and check our line when it want working, when we complained they were extremely rude and disrespectful even though the money they took wasn't mine. And wouldn't mind there tbroadband is shocking to begin with !! Already contacted sky

    Really poor customer service contacted via chat and was told incorrect information.Complaints team just as poor they never contacted me.Broadband very slow and connection goes frequently. Not good value for money.I am now leaving and signing up with UK based company.

    The most horrendously miserable customer service experience I have ever encountered spread over 4 phone calls this morning lasting a total of over 2 hours. In the end I gave up and cancelled my contract which had only been live for 2 hours. They had no comprehension of what I wanted and passed me from pillar to post. Outsourced call centres cannot provide the quality of care and customer service coherently and without making copious notes, putting you on hold and cutting you off.

    I have gone back to Vodafone.... everything I wanted completed and understood in under 15 minutes. If I could I would have given a minus 1 star rating.....

    Thought i was just adding fibre for an extra £5 month only to find i entered a 18 month contract then they charged me £300 to get out of it before it was even conected !!KEEP WELL AWAY .

    Very poor wifi and abysmal customer service i have refused to pay my bill as the reliability is ridiculous i failed 2 exams because of not having a reliable connection so was unable to revise for the exams complaint has been lodged however only got 95p compensation and finally no further compensation also very rude customer service team have now escalated this to Cisas, trading standards and ofcom

    They set it up to start working in December it didn’t work I called them several times and they couldn’t find my account every time then when they did I was with technical support for over an hour every time and it would never fix it they wouldn’t send out a engineer if when I asked after the third phone call. Then the modem stopped working I called to cancel which took over an hour and they then said I will be charge a cancellation fee EVEN THOUGH IT HAS NEVER WORKED. They then refused to cancel my contract saying the internet works when it never has and my modem is dead. NEVER USE TALK TALK EVER

    Do not use this company. I have had multiple problems and I have been charged a stupid amount of money to fix those problems when I was told I would not be charged. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

    The worst broadband and the customer service I have ever experienced. It took 4 months and more hours than I would like to remember on phonecalls with them to cancel the service after I had moved out of the property. This was because they kept losing the transfer of ownership forms we sent and then didn't seem to understand that the cancellation request was in fact a cancellation request.

    Worst company ever. I signed up with them 4 months ago. Terrible customer service department. Stick to a script don't call you back at appropriate times, barely understand what they are saying. 4 months in I still don't have my Internet or TV installed. Finally cancelled the appointment after losing all faith in them. 2 days after cancelling an engineer turned up out of the blue to install the phone line and got stroppy when I said no. Do not touch this company ever!

    The worst service provider I have ever had. Speeds never go above 3.5mbs and usually drop down to 0.5mb. phoned customer services multiple times only to be connected to someone who does not understand what I'm talking about.Will be ripping up contract.

    Terrible service. Phone line and broadband been inoperative for 7 weeks. I have 12 text updates giving times and dates when someone will ring me to discuss my complaint, but no one does. I have spent 20 hours on the phone trying to get my service up and running. Eventually they set up a call divert to a mobile, only to remove it after a few days when they said problem was fixed. Still no telephone. Cannot understand call takers who cannot speak proper English. Prior to switching to Talk Talk I was with another company, wish I never changed.

    Wow This got to be the slowest / troublesome broadband company ever. Customer service will not help, IF IF IF you like calling Talktalk customer service up every other day with faults etc then move over to this company.. But today I'm ending my contract with them.

    I would not recommend using talk talk as an internet provider. I have spoken to customer services for 3 hours over the past 2 weeks - telling them my internet is NOT working especially on my mobile device. After a 'speed test' I've been told my speed is deemed as normal, despite not being able to receive whatsapp messages on my phone or being able to get the internet. I was then told I need to UNSCREW the box from my wall (despite being disabled with a bad back)...I then was told I would have to PAY for engineer to come out. This was after a whole 1 hour before. I had virgin media wifi before and never had this issue. Do not waste your time and money with this company.

    Quite simply the worst experience I have ever had with any company.

    Spent months trying to get them to install. When installed it often failed. Customer service was like a circular vortex of incompetence, hours and hours of my life wasted.

    Eventually decided to cancel the contract, a process which again took hours and significant interaction with cynical and deliberately obstructive call cente workers. Was then FURIOUS to find three months later that they had continued to charge me!! Called up to complain and get my money back and was essentially called a liar.

    If I had the time I would actually consider suing, as their actions are above the merely incompetent and bordering on the illegal. They effectively stole three months of rental from me.

    Avoid these jokers like the plague.

    Broadband speeds are totally rubbish the blame my PC, I built it! I've been shunted from India to S Africa to the Philippines to resolve my problems! 5 months without a landline now 6 months Sketchy Broadband, Never call you back as promised I've spent more hours on my mobile trying to resolve the issues! They are utter C**P. Where is the UK management of TalkTalk?

    let down by BT engineers,missed appointments then tried to blame / charge me, poor coordination, 1.5mbps broadband speed,
    hopeless call centres, reading off scripts and cant answer questions, I thought Virgin were bad!!

    Talktalk is garbage. The internet is very very slow. The call center is in India and they are not responsive to calls at all and the call center is so noisy you can't understand anything. also the picture quality on the cable TV is crap and too expensive. If you decide to cancel service, expect to get ripped off for about 80 quid when they fail to mail you the box you will need to get to return your cable box for the 80 quid refund. You won't get the box to send the equipment back. You will get charged for it instead.

    Worst provider ever. The internet constantly disconnects. As soon as i stop browsing and go to get water or go to the bathroom I get the yellow triangle saying "DNS server not responding" but also constant disconnections. It`s like there trying to save bandwidth. Waste of money and time. We are cancelling on Thursday and going back to BT cause at least there internet worked.

    The speed is always terrible. I, at times, can't even use my phone on the internet at home, let alone a computer. The moment multiple devices are added, the internet goes down. No games consoles can be played as the internet completely ruins the online gameplay. Sometimes the internet is off for hours on end with no warning, and when it does come back on it is extremely slow, registering in the KbPs, not MbPs. Extremely poor, very very poor. I would rather spend that extra bit of money and get a reliable internet package rather than this any day of the week. And to top it all off, when we phoned TalkTalk to see what the problem is, the person on the phone tried to blame the poor internet connection on us restarting the Modem, absolute dross. Poor service, poor customer service, poor company. Don't go with TalkTalk.

    Had to contact talk talk on my daughters behalf to sort out not broadband service at all. The call centre staff are deliberately difficult to make you give up trying to sort out issues If you pick them up on there mistakes they cut you off. Under no circumstances sign up to talk talk as they take money for nothing and harass you for payment and keep adding charges. My battle with them is not finished but they are a terrible company to deal with so do not think of using them under any circumstance.

    Dont get talktalk its a pile of crap, we pay over £20 for internet speeds of 0.9 mbps (average download/upload speed) and every time we call up to fix something it takes up to an hour to get through and the person on the other end are always really unhelpful plus when the technicians come to fix the internet they just give us a new modem which fixes the problem for about 5 minutes. Also the ethernet ports at the back of the modem only run speeds of 100mbps which isnt enough.
