    I was cheap when choosing my broadband supplier and choose talk talk as they were the cheapest option. The internet never worked for the first month z eventually they charged me to send an engineer round to the house to fix my line and the speed was always very slow and I had large amounts of time the internet did not work due to system errors on their part.
    As I work in the computer I lost lots of money in lost work opportunities and then switched to sky a more reliable option. I would highly recommend sky to anyone reading this. (They also have done great deals)

    The service i received from talk talk was embarrassing i have never dealt with a company this bad and not one of the customer service agents or so called managers have a clue and cant speak English properly so nothing gets dealt with as they don't understand what you are saying they sent out a returns bag out and the bag was to small to fit the products in and wouldn't send me another bag because i cancelled the account they have taken money from my account upfront and not returned this which i was promised they would i would strongly advise anyone thinking of using their services to avoid this company they are scam artist who use none uk based call centre so good luck trying to resolve any issues you are having with this company

    Worst broadband ever...everyone is fooled to get it because it is cheap,i regret it so much for choosing them,have no internet for almost a month,ridiculous customer service,wasted 1 hr over the phone for nothing,the guys from call centre keep asking same questions 10 times and can not speak the language properly,DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE,could have had internet over easter with another provider but its too late to book it now...had already one engineer and he did not fix the problem...now have to wait another 2 weeks for another engineer...this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!
    +they charged us for this month for nothing....

    I wish there was a 0 star for customer service. I asked to be moved to my address a week ago and finally someone called me today after 7 days to tell me that they are investigating an issue and will take 29 days to be moved. Told them is unavailable to call me after a week and tell me that. And I asked to have my contract canceld. They made me wait on the phone for 28 min tot Connect me to the relevant department and then when I finally spoke to them they told me they need to transfer to another department. And so like that for 1 hour and 25 min. Please avoid the internet quality is rubbish. Go somewhere else.

    I stupidly signed up to Talktalk & a bt telephone engineer installed my new phone line at the bottom of my stairs even though I said I wanted it in the living room, he refused - he clearly couldn't be bothered. When I plugged in my router I had to use an extension cable to fit in the plug for my phone & the plug for my router. So I now have a massive tripping & fire hazard at the bottom of my stairs. When I phoned up Talktalk to complain about this, I was told that if the engineer put it there then that is where it should stay! So I complained to the Ombudsman about this - still waiting on a reply. Then my Talktalk TV box arrived & to my horror, I realised that the TV must be plugged into my router - which is in the hall at the bottom of my stairs! This doesn't make sense! Am I supposed to drag my TV into the hall & watch it there! I was then on the phone to Talktalk for an hour trying to get this resolved. Apparently I could just run extension cables into the living room. So my house is to become an even bigger danger. Eventually they agreed to move my phone line, I had to stay on the phone as they filled out the form for this request - apparently I have nothing better to do with my time. I was told that an engineer would phone within 48hrs to arrange a date - that was 3 days ago. So again, I phoned Talktalk this morning,only to be told that they didn't have an update of this on my account! I was then told that it was passed to a manager & someone would phone today. I don't believe they will phone. I am sitting with no TV - even though I am paying for it. I have a fire & tripping hazard on my stairs & when I asked to cancel, I was told that I would have to pay cancellation charges! This is ridiculous - this is all their fault. They then had the cheek to phone me about taking out a Talktalk mobile phone! Trying to complain to Talktalk gets me nowhere - there online help is just trouble shooting & phoning gets me nowhere. I plan to write to Talktalk & give them bad reviews where possible.

    Worst company ever. Slow internet keeps dropping and constant outages. Customer service / technical department just keep Tring to run speed test and tell you they'll do something to improve but never do. After 28 days I'm legally allowed to leave without penalties which I am doing and going back to sky who are not actually costing me much more.

    TalkTalk Fibre Broadband is the worst broadband I've ever used. I pay for 76mb/s and i can using this speed just between 10AM - 2PM, and from 2AM - 5AM. If you like playing in multiplayer games [like WOW, Dota, Counter Strike, GTA] in any normal time (it mean afternoon, evening, or weekends - forget) Normal ping are close 150 or more at this time. In my last home I used virgin and ping was all the time close to 10-20, but i cannot take this broadband in my new address. You can order technical support everyday if you want - it will not change anything. Do not fix it. I bought a new router, but the fault of the Internet. Apart high ping, less speed is very often in afternoon, or evening that broadband stop working any 2-3 times in every hour. it's a nightmare. I really do not recommend

    After 9 months of torture we are leaving Talk Talk. Do NOT sign up with them. Internet literally never worked the whole time. Phone didn't work for the first few months. They kept trying to charge us for things and then I would spend hours on the phone taking care of it. They say they will call back and don't. Do yourself a favour and sign up with anyone else!!

    Took over a sandwich shop business on the 27th November 2018. The previous business had used the same number and talk talk for 10 years so you can imagine how important it was for us to keep the same number
    Prior to this the previous owner had been in touch to inform them of the takeover. We were sent a change of ownership form which was complete and sent on the 28th.
    Mid December I called as no payment had been set up on my account only to find that it was still in the previous owners details and they would not discuss anything over the phone with me despite it being on the notes that I had been given authorisation by the previous owner to do so. When I asked what had happened to the change of ownership again, cannot discuss and I would need to find the previous owner.
    Finally got the owner to call up, never received the forms so sent some more out.
    While waiting for ANOTHER form, we received several emails and letters stating “sorry you are leaving” with disconnection dates.
    Please bare in mind that the account was under a ‘Mrs Chief Accountant’ who is not even a real person. This was attempted to be explained several times but fell on deaf ears.
    Managed to sort that out, same again, ‘sorry you are leaving us. Tried to call, can’t discuss blah blah blah.(they did however tell me if I knew the password they would discuss everything with me even though my birth certificate doesn’t say ‘chief accountant’) data protection.... really?
    So I went to BT asked if I can join them with the same number, said yes, jobs a good en. BT then contact me to tell me talk talk we’re holding the line so I couldn’t have the same number so stopped going forward with them and cancelled all services on the 25th of Jan with BT. I called talk talk to ask the cancel my transfer and I will be staying with them, they first told me it was too late and I’d have to start again with a new number, wasn’t happy. They then changed their tune and said as long as BT had cancelled their line takeover then our services will resume as normal. I had confirmation that BT had cancelled so all was good.
    Got to work this morning to discover talk talk had disconnected our line after receiving no calls for a few hours.
    Phoned talk talk, they say it’s BT’s fault, and jay their colleague did not say we would continue services, I have insisted the calls I made are listened to as the guy I spoke to did say that. Was pretty much called a liar a few times.
    Then when I asked what I was supppsed to do about the 500 menus I have printed, the new shop front sign and all the custom we have lost and potential are going to permenantly lose due to this mess, I was informed that it’s not talk talk responsibility, but if I was misinformed then they would speak to the person responsible and inform them they have given out incorrect information.
    I’m now waiting 3/5 working days for someone to listen to my previous calls, see i am telling the truth and do naff all about it.
    If you want someone to read from a screen the same scripted crap over and over, not understand a word you are saying, say nothing is their fault, have information lost etc then go with talk talk.
    This has potentially lost me thousands of pounds, many customers, and I can’t even have the number back with a different company.
    The last 3 weeks have been absolutely disgusting and I’ve wasted hours on the phone to them for nothing. Do they care? No but they tell you they know how you feel.
    Sorry hun, didn’t realised you call centre folk were self employed and relied on having us meer mortals phone you up so you can afford to pay your bills. Bore off

    Utterly appalling. I was duped into using talktalk as their broadband deals were at the time very good. However! It has been nothing but hell since then. Talktalk took over 5 months to return credit on my account! Their customer service is awful. Bunch of idiots that don't understand anything unless it's on a script in front them. Do not use them in any instance. Even if they pay you, do not use them! Horrendous experience and by far the worst broadband provider I have used, ever!

    Its the worse company i have ever dealt with! The customers service is TERRIBLE i was over charged i spent on the phone hours a ve tried to talk to manager which was very rude to me. I wanted unlimited International calls which i had till changing my address (contract was for one year) so i have called them to ask where going on the Lady told me that that can offer, for the same price, 1000minutes well its not UNLIMITED i ve spoked with a financial manager she said that i will still have UNLIMITED International calls i just wanted to have a proove so i used live chat and made a screenshot i ve been charged £96 insted of £26 so again call customers service to sort it out, could not understand anything so i have used live chat again the Lady told me that now i need to pay nearly £50, well better than a 100.. i have call them today again as my Bill is unpaid but i obviously paid it so i ve been told to ignore it, again i ve asked if i have UNLIMITED calls as i had problem with it and she said that people i ve been talking to were LIEING well done talk talk i have waited nearly an hour to speak to a manager.... the worst manager i have ever talked to... he was laughing to my face he was rude and he did not want to put me to a higher manager i asked him for his name and he told me that if i ll answer his question (why do you need to speak with another manager if they will not change anything) he will give me his name.. finally he told me his name with rude "do you need it to be spelled" with actually laughing at me... i wont live it like this!

    Absolutely shocking company, staff you can’t understand or can’t understand you, broadband goes down all the time which means no tv, as they failed to say needed an aerial to watch freeview, I have asked to speak to a manager who then decided to cough constantly down the phone not once did he move or cover his mic absolutley disgraceful! And stuck in a contract AVOID AVOID AVOID TALK TALK SHOULDNT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO TRADE !!

    Even leaving puts you through hell, like when you tell them you are out of contract and are leaving, they forget to record the call, you only know of that a week before the change and then tell you they have heard nothing from new provider? i rang them acouple of days before i changed and was told i had not cancelled the service and i had to give 3o days i am paying my final bill tomorrow and am having a couple of drinks to celebrate.

    The worst customer service ever. Felt ill at the end, and still not even resolved. Took out their broadband and phone. Meant to be online on the 19th, didn't work. Booked an engineer for today - didn't turn up. Eventually got through to talk talk., she told me to phone the engineers, which I did they said it hadn't been booked to call talk talk back!!I arghhh - eventually managed to get through on phone ages. Asked me to go through checks again, said all I wanted was an engineer, said you can't do that, then said I would have to pay ..... took me ages, I could go on and on. Would take too long. But suffice to say, when I begged to speak to someone else, she eventually gave me a number. I phoned and after some confusion, realise that I was through to BT???!!!! After nearly having a nervous breakdown, I get my bill tonight for a month, although even if I was connected, which I am not - even going to 1st June would only be 11days. Unable to get through to anyone to cancel, have cancelled my direct debit but am now worried , if this awful company have any rights to any money from me!! Dreadful experience, the worst customer service ever, I can't stress how awful and upsetting.

    Now let me get this one thing straight-Talktalk is unreliable, slow and downright pathetic. I've been stuck in a contract with Talktalk for almost 2 years now and it is truly one of my worst life decisions. I am appalled day after day to come home to speeds of around 6 (maximumim) all the way down to a mere 1.5 mbps connection. Our average is usually around 3 mbps, yes that's megaBITS! I have dealt with our speeds of not even half what was promised for too long now and I strongly recommend nobody makes the same foolish decision I did, by choosing this network which cuts out around 4 times a day. I have dealt with my son being constantly angry at his video games because of bad ping and have even struggled with work deadlines to the point where I have had to take caffeine tablets to stay awake for full nights. It sounds odd, but this pathetic network has lead to serious issues within the household and I honestly cannot wait to replace this outdated junk with BT fibre optic. I will post this same review on every website I come across, as I want others to realise the stress this thing causes, in addition to the poor help we have been given.

    I upgraded to fibre in January. Since then have had 13 days with no service in February,5 days in March and so far 6 days in April. As so many other commentators say.....the service is terrible,the call centre operatives in India work from a script and can not cope with any deviation. When anything other than just switch it off and try again occurs it becomes BT Open reaches fault. They lie constantly that an Open reach engineer will be with you on X date. You need to constantly chase them and re make visit arrangements. I have wasted several days waiting for engineers who never turn up....probably because the call centre never bothered to organise it. When you ask to speak to someone to complain,it can only be at the Indian call centre not in Southampton HQ. When you ask to speak to a Complaints Manager it is always.....they will ring you in 48 to 72 hours. When they do,you start the whole cycle again.
    Utterly hopeless service,to be avoided at all costs.
    Advice to all.....remember a contract is a 2 way thing....a service for money. If they are not providing the promised service,and they rarely do,then it is no problem cancelling the contract. It is they who are in breach !
    Letters to CEO or Complaints Are absolutely pointless as they are worse than the call centre.
    AVOID at all costs,they are terrible.

    Only one week was enough for me to switch from TalkTalk to another provider, as my first week was with no internet and they took 4 days to fix the problem. After few days only the internet start to be bad again. I don’t know if this company will last even. It is better to pay more so you can have internet than paying cheaper and stay with rubbish internet “ this is my advice”

    I have had problems with broadband with talk talk I spent several hours on the phone they are robotic make promises and dont keep them they are soooooo frustrating to deal with. There cus serve team are not in the uk so the language and understand is not good at all. I am fed up of how band they are and how my issues have been going on for weeks without a resolution. I am sick to death of them so I am cancelling my contract with them. I would never recommend a co like this to any one. Soooo difficult to deal with it is beyond any words. I would never use them again ever or recommend them

    Awful company, they charge you for call barring services even when you cancel them. Their weak security means all my home calls are scam calls which I end paying to receive. Customer service is non existent as they don’t speak English. Out of date and often faulty equipment supplied. Steer well clear.

    Do NOT bother with talk talk the service is awful you can never stay connected to their internet it's like there rationing their internet waiting for WW3 me and my ex partner are more connected than their internet and we split up 6 years ago and spoke since if talk talk was your gf/wife you would take her on the Jeremy Kyle show for lack of commitment the moral of the story is their rubbish so don't bother

    What words come to mind when I think about this company? Rubbish. Diseases. Anger. Their broadband is terrible, to the point where during rush hours you will recieve several minutes of delay. When you tell them how rubbish they are, they will make terrible excuses and just hang you out to dry. None of it ever works, and as they always say, what's the point in something being cheap if it doesn't work?

    NEVER USE TALK TALK. STAFF ARE DISGUSTINGLY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. Organised to move to TalkTalk, set up a date and time for an engineer to come to the house and received confirmation of all details. Comes to two days before ‘go live’ date and I called them to confirm it is all still going ahead and they had lost ALL my details and claimed that I never placed the order. I have a email receipt of the order and they actually had the cheek to tell me I was lying. Telephone staff were disgustingly rude and completely unhelpful. They then proceeded to bombard me with phone calls after I said I didn’t want their service.

    I wish I could give them less than zero stars. I have been with talktalk for last 1.5 years and can’t wait to move to another provider. If like to talk for hours on the phone and pay for no internet connection then talktalk is best for you.

    Been waiting for weeks for Internet to arrive, finally got a date for the engineer from open reach to install our Internet today. My partner took half day off work (unpaid) in order to be at home for the engineer, waited 7 hours, no calls, email or text. no apology or response from either talk talk or open reach. complained to talk talk who said open reach had lack of resources. Where is the customer service and courteousness of both of talk talk and open reach. I strongly would not recommended this company.. Still waiting for it to be resolved.

    one of the most aweful service . beware guys think million times before u get your service. i don't have internet in my house for abt 11days now. i have called then so many times but still the problem is there. their customer service is unimaginable. too many false promises to get it repaired but still the problem is there. every time i wanted to talk to the manager on the phone anybody in the customer service is a manager . it sounds so funny and it is somewhere in malaysia or phillipines. they don't have any clue what they are doing or what they saying. plz plz plz guys never go for the talk talk. trust me or u will regret it.

    Be careful when you sign-up, even after you request ELECTRONIC BILLING and opt on via their on-line portal for paper billing. They still send it to you and charge 4 pounds for 3 sheets of cheaply printed paper!

    Trying to get through to the "UK" based tech support is a nightmare! as basically your time is wasted forced to listen to DID YOU KNOW! pre recored messages for non important issues not relating to your issue.

    Then staff are uninterested and do not care a less attitude towards its "customers!" regret the day I signed up with this vile company.

    SIGN-UP at your own risk! and read on-line reviews before signing a 24 month contract.

    Don't you dare join these incompetent low life scums, do your self a favour and avoid like the plague, I remember dial up and that service is better than talk talks, wish this company would curl up and die, had nothing but problems with them, speeds are crap, customer support is like banging your head against a brick wall, the broadbands always disconnecting...cant really call it broadband, and then they have cheek to bill you on days that you have lost connection, non sympathetic service, why this company is still operating is beyond me..

    I have used Talk Talk for 4 years, but recently, their service slowed down and i had to call their customer service and i went around the houses with them,
    they dont listen, they dont update you and never call or up date you. i managed to get out of my 18 month contract as my problem has been going on for 3 months, i argued to say that after 28 days as a customer i can cancel.
    i am moving to Sky and hoping for a better service . do not use Talk Talk if you want stress and rubbish service. they are an awful provider and should be shut down

    If I could give zero stars I would. Was promised a minimum speed of 64mbps, am currently receiving 9mbps. Customer service not interested.

    Terrible speeds and service. The broadband cuts at least 4 times a day, and when it does work it crawls like a slug. In fact, you could even say they are breaking the law by not delivering the full promise of their contracts. Just stay away from TalkTalk, it's a huge scam and I wish someone stopped it.

    We have been with talk talk for about 3 years.now. I recently moved house so really trusted talk talk however it is getting out of hand now. When we joined talk talk promised to provide with good internet speed (17mph) however checking th internet speed from talk talk website its 2.6mph. This is rediculous. Complained about it engineer came and checked however didnot give a
    satisfying answer to why it is so slow that when i try to use my internet in my nbedroom it does not work atall. This is false advertising. We decided to get the fiber where as thisthe original contract should have been so enough for us to use as there are only devises we use wifi in. I am just hating this and would surely think twice before i get my contract renewed again!!

    I will newer in my live choose talk talk and recommend all others to avoid choosing talk talk.
    Very bad in services, behaviar and resolving the problems with customers.
