    Dreadful service!! I will not recommend talktalk to anyone ever, I've had countless phone calls to and from the customer service team to do with technical fault, I had the phone line and broadband a little over a month and I only signed up for the you view box 3 weeks ago. So because I want to cancel the TV they are telling me I have to pay £200 I am in shock!!! Terrible service I was in the phone for 1hr20min on hold I was just trying to tell them that I wanted to cancel... DONT EVER SIGN WITH THEM

    I'm so tired of fighting with you @TalkTalk. Everyone have to know when they choose the telecommunications company to not choose yours! 5 months of fighting with you on the phone, I spent hours to find somebody who could help me to resolve the problem! Every single time you just promised to improve the connection but nothing happened.
    TalkTalk just want your money and they don't want give anything back.
    They don't provide any services for you! They are just stealing the money from your pockets! Don't go with them.

    Basically during daytime and evening, TOTAL RUBBISH. Only works properly after 2am and up to 7am, says it all when traffic busy it drops stalls constantly. DO NOT GO WITH TALK TALK unless you are an insomniac or work nights.

    Talked into moving over to fibre optic December 2015 from ordinary broadband... HOW THE HELL CAN THE SPEED GET WORSE and everything drops time after time. FED UP with trying to resolve the issue. Customer service SUCKS if I could give NO STARS I WOULD... I am now stuck in an 18 month contract,,,, THIS IS A JOKE

    Your members of staff are extremely rude and do not listen to anything we had to say when trying to explain. Also i feel that you rip of your customers and when my contract is up i will no longer choice to be a talktalk customer. Such a shame as iv been a valued customer for sometime but feel very upset with the way i have been treated with my last querie!!!!!!!!

    Worst broadband you could possibly get, unprofessional unorganised customer service no basic manners and etiquettes on how to talk to customers. Management are a disgrace and are utterly confused themselves regarding talktalk policies and rules. Staff do not even speak fluent English so is very difficult to communicate especially when they are sat on the other side of the world

    talktalk have been terrible throughout - i paid for data and calls and texts and for months received no data
    when i called them they had no solutions
    they would not give me my pack code when i wanted to leave
    and they charged me £50 for the data that i did not received

    Avoid this company at all costs!! The internet connection is rubbish and they don't remind customers about giving 30 days notice if leaving, so at the end of the contract they automatically renew it and expect you to pay a higher rate for rubbish internet. Manager who dealt with my complaint was also very unhelpful!!

    Terrible. not even worth the couple of quid you hope to save in money of the broadband service - you'll pay the price in your time and effort! i couldnt advise strongly enough against the service

    Utterly mortified with talktalk, called them about the wifi not working and get asked with barbaric questions. The woman didn't even speak English and she didn't understand a single word I was saying and just saying the post code took over 10 minutes and by the end got no further to fixing the problem and get hit with a big phone bill. How they are still in business is beyond me , they should be shut down and the owners put in prison. DO NOT GET TALKTALK, worse decision I have ever made, thieves!!!

    This company is appalling I was on the phone for over 1.5 hours today and they could not help me! Finally I spoke to a manager who then put me in touch with a boy who was his second day at work! I was ringing on behalf of my elderly parents as their broadband speed was 9 Mbps! They were paying £50 per month for this atrocious service! Have left to go to sky today!
    Don’t waste your money, all the minions have no idea what they are doing!

    My internet has been down for fourteen days. TalkTalk have given me the runaround day after day. I have, at their behest bought, a new ADSL filter, new 'phone and new router. I have had a Talk Talk contract enginer in my home and a BT engineer in my home. The customer service is abysmal and the operatives just appear to be reading from a bit of paper. When you can actually speak to someone who understands they deliberately tell untruths to get rid of you.

    Avoid at all costs. Worst customer service. When there's a problem you get offshore call centre people who politely and slowly read from a script. Getting them to actually do anything proactive is near impossible.
    Spent hours on phone and live chat over two days eventually managed to get engineer booked who was then cancelled without my being informed as they remotely judged the fault to be fixed. After another couple of hours wasted on customer service finally got another engineer visit (OpenReach) and he had to come back on consecutive days due to inability to get TalkTalk to answer his request for line to be tested.
    Awful company.Do not use.

    I cannot put into sufficient words how bad a company Talk Talk are. From their customer service to the quality of their product they are hands down the worst company I have ever come across. Since having the broadband it consistently cuts out throughout the day, I was told this was due to the fact I did not have fibre however Sky who I was previously with had exactly the same speeds and never cut out. When trying to explain these problems over the phone it was like talking to a brick wall over and over again. They did send another router however this did not work, sent engineers who said the line was fine and no faults in the house. When the problem continued they restarted the whole thing again and sent more engineers who said the same thing. At no point have they offered me any form of refund or compensation for their dreadful service and I was left so frustrated with their call centre I refused to contact them again. This was after being on the phone for over 2 hours and not getting any form of outcome from it!!! Just purely for the customer service alone I would never recommend going with Talk Talk, spend a few extra pounds and go with a more reliable company that knows what customer service is.

    I had problems from the start. Over the phone I was asked where I wanted the router- I had said the living room where the tv box was for on demand . When the man came he put the router in the bedroom- he said this was because the phone line was here and that I would have to speak to talk- talk about this- talk talk said they would send out an engineer to put wires in as an extension. When the engineer came he said this wouldn't work and not to bother- I then got billed from talk talk for fifty pounds for the engineer call out- after a lot of complaining I got some adapters fitted for free- But I had to fight for this. When I wasn't happy with the services I attempted to terminate my contract I was told I wouldn't be charged and then was charged 120 pounds. I haven't paid it and I don't intend to pay it- WARNING DO NOT GO WITH TALK TALK- it will be your biggest mistake!

    Wow This got to be the slowest / troublesome broadband company ever. Customer service will not help, IF IF IF you like calling Talktalk customer service up every other day with faults etc then move over to this company.. But today I'm ending my contract with them.

    I have found TT perfectly OK, apart from the October scam last year (which I spotted straight away) TT has served me well. Price wise can not be beaten, speed for fast fibre is good. Whenever I need customer support (which is rare) always satisfied me. I know TT has had some bad feedback BUT I talk as I find. I have NO connection with TT just a satisfied customer.

    I finally left these clowns after they failed to notify me that I was out of contract (something they had always done in the past). Because I wasn't notified, I incurred full month price for broadband at standard cost and a month of expnsive telephone calls. The broadband was fast, but unreliable and I had given up trying to get them to fix the issue, as I was fed up being the ball in the Talktalk/Open Reach tennis match. I have found an alternative provider now who are more expensive, but totally reliable (no more dropouts or throttling)and they have UK tech support. Cheap isn't always an indicator of quality!

    This is the worst provider I have ever encountered. They provided the worst internet connection to customer. I have paid 33.50 each month for my internet bill. Each month, I will have to liaise with the team to diagnose my internet connection problem. The worst part,they will ask you to monitor your own line within the next 24hours. It is superb annoying if you have to do this every month. You're solely on your own!!!

    0 STARS! Please do not go with this company! This WILL be your worst experience in opting to go for a broadband package with this company, believe me!
    Where do I start..? WiFi disconnects during the day and every evening from 9-10pm till 3am latest! Yes every night! Having to “online chat” to so called “customer service” due to telephone calls not resolving the issue or miss lead communication frustrates you enough only to be told several times it’s due to technical issues yet they say they can see “great” WiFi connection. How on earth does that make sense when your red WiFi light is on indicating no WiFi is beyond me! Customer service team have no customer service skills at all! They don’t know their head from there back side! Simple! Talk talk raves about “Loyal customers GUARANTEED prices! Oh my god, do not be fooled by this via verbal or written communication this is not true and should be stopped! My bill has veried from... £18 to £19 to £41 yes £41 to now £26. NO EXPLANATION so it has now promted me after OVER 4 years of being with this bad company leading to believe I was a so called loyal customer to end all ties with this company! I know it’ll be the best decision to move to a better provider at a lower cost however I genuinely feel for other people who wish to opt in to this company but do so at your own risk! Bad WiFi, penny pinchers, no customer service support, unrealistic and misleading to get you to join their contracted scam!

    Talk talk are ridiculous, simple issue (modem needs replacing) 3 one hour phone calls, one visit by BT engineer who left a faulty box, promised to drop a new one in, but didn't, back to square one rasing a new fault. It is also impossible to complain, once you have raised a fault, all roads lead to a call, where the IVR system says they are aware you have a fault and a re working on it! Worst company in the telecomms sector, a sector not known for its customer service! SO FRUSTRATED

    Very bad service . I called the customercare and waited for 35 minutes. They even did not answer and the call was disconnected. Very slow Internet and not dealing with the problem. Very very bad service. I would not recommend this service even for my enimies.

    A scandalous company, my order was canceled without an apparent reason with delays of 4 or more weeks on booking the engineer to install the broadband.

    The wort customer service I ever experience. Never will recommend to anyone. My business phone number has been disconnected by them by mistake, because of that I've lost alot of business. And cause me a great deal of stress. I don't want to ear talktalk again!!!!

    Moved to Scotland from London and therefore terminated my agreement - unbelievably poor customer service which eventually got an outcome when I stopped the Direct Debit but three months on still haven't received the £12.53 they owe me for over payment. Have written three times with all attachments They have yet to reply to my letters even though I asked them to and with their customer service you are wasting your time as it's clear the staff are reading from a script and can't take or make decisions. Pathetic - AVOID

    Worst company I have ever dealt with! I'm 8 months pregnant with no landline because talk talk are that incompetent they don't feel they have to provide a service even though u pay them! It's been one thing after another with them and that's if u can get through to them without them dropping the call. They are in no which way uk based so even when your emotional and in need of information you just get read out the scripts in front of them WHICH they read out 50 times before they actually do what they are saying! They have put a mark on my credit rating even though I've paid on time every month and haven't received a service for over 4 month. I've been trying for over a month to move my services to my new address but can't as firstly there was technical difficulties and now my order has been rejected!!!! A manager will ring me in a WEEKS time to explain why!!! I've just paid my bill yesterday. So turns out it was rejected because they forgot to ask me some information...so instead of ringing me n clearing it up straight away they cancel my order and then can't book me an engineer for the day I already had booked I have to wait a further 10 days for that....meaning that in the duration of my contract with talk talk I have received services for 5 month out of 12. Will not be letting this drop. I will take my matter as far as I can and I urge everyone else to do the same. This company is the biggest joke going....must be shut down I'd day

    Recently had a problem with stability of connection which caused speeds to drop. Your service enabled me to monitor the position and also show the Openreach engineers when they visited. I am not saying they didn't believe me but so much easier to show them the speed check history visually.

    Customer and technical service from talktalk has been direly bad. Using an ex-BT phone line their initial internet download speed was no better than upload, about 0.76 Mb/s each way, no technician visited to check the line condition, customer service agents said 'we will surely help you' but did nothing. After over a year the line went dead (phone and broadband) entirely, the talktalk organization took over 3 weeks to reconnect. But as a welcome incidental, when finally reconnected, the speed was at last within the range promised long before at the time of installation, which seems to show that the initial low speed was just due to neglect and lack of attention to the installation in spite of all my calls for help. Now there has been a recent deterioration in online availability and speed, the line has been taking several minutes to 'go live' at the start of an internet session, and browser connections often fail. I give up.

    Was an AOL customer had no problems since 1996, then in May 2015 Talk Talk take over, what a difference continually loosing conection and customer services well is there one get call backs within 48hrs by someone who wants you to remove sockets from the wall and been promised a manager call back but after 4 days nil.

    The above rating is as low as I can put on here. Minus stars are needed for the true score!!
    Since 21st January, Virgin Media (who were great by the way) dropped all non-cable customers. I was transferred to TalkTalk. Since that date I have had very slow and intermittent internet. I have lost count of the number of calls I've made to 150, all to no avail. Two engineers have visited and both said there is a problem with the server at Folkestone Exchange. An independent engineer said it's simply overloaded and cant cope. I have given them until Monday 8th to sort it out - then it's Goodbye & Good Riddance to what must be the most inefficient company I have ever known.

    I am currently receiving the worst experience with talktalk. A service full of empty promises. Unexpected additional charges without notifying the customer. Poor internet service. It took me to a stage of complaining about them for them to improve my internet service as well as encouraging to me to pay more for garantee broadband connection

    Absolutely awful. I live with two other flatmates and we all have problems with the Internet. My room is the furthest away from the router and pretty much useless for me. Constantly disconnects from the Internet and even with no one else in and only a tv using Nowtv and an iPhone connected we've all had problems. Don't even think about wanting to use the Internet at peak times, dial up was faster. Would not recommend to anyone!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

    Fraudulent practices! I'm actually stunned at the depths this company has stooped to in order to gain a few more pounds from me! Basically, after moving house I signed up with them and was told I had a 3 week installation wait, seeing as my property is new I was a bit stuck for other providers as they hadn't updated their databases with my new address. A few days ago I contacted Talk Talk to double check my router would arrive in the mail as it hadn't turned up thus far and my install was booked for tomorrow. I was told not to worry, it was on its way and the engineer was due between 8 - 1. After postie had been and gone today (no router) I phoned again to be told the order had been cancelled. Trying to ascertain who had cancelled the order was like getting blood out of a stone, with a totally patronising gentleman speaking to me (using my 1st name every other word) as if I was a child. Finally, he admitted it was a system error (wouldn't admit it was THEIR system error) and that I'd be required to re-place the order (despite letters from them telling me the direct debit had been set up), I asked if I would be a priority seeing as I'd already waited 3 weeks and the cancellation was their fault. Apparently no - I would have to go through the whole process again and wait a further 3 weeks for an engineer to install my phone/broadband. Then, to add insult to injury, I was told the deal I signed up with is no longer running therefore it would cost more to re-sign!! This is a serious case of misrepresentation and breaks a few long distance consumer laws which have been taken up by trading standards. As a single disabled woman not having a home phone is a bit of a medical issue for me,as I'm prone to falling and don't always have a reliable mobile phone signal so this cock up has caused be great anxiety! Talk Talk clearly don't give a crap about their customers as I was told basically tough, go elsewhere - I do hope my horrendous experience with this company saves someone in a similar position to me a little less stress by going to a phone provider that actually gives a damn about the importance the service they provide is to certain vulnerable groups.
