    adsolutely awful speed i was regular 30-35mbps now i am lucky to get 10 mbps now my bloody phones dont work despite trying all the fixes i was told to try,fed up with talktalk and i have have been a customer for many years without problems

    do not get into a contract with talktalk we have had nothing but trouble getting onto fibre broadband 3 months still not on it they do not ring back when they say numerous times, When you ring they pass you around so many departments.
    even worse when you cancel anything you WILL have problems. good riddence to talktalk.

    There is no words to describe how BAD the service is, ESPECIALLY CUSTOMER SERVICE I would not recommend this service to my worst enemy. I have been passed around everyone in every department and still the issue of inconsistent fibre broadband cannot be resolved, or iff anyone is actually bothered it seems to just be a big joke to them IF YOUR THINKING OF SIGNING TO TALKTALK PLEASE THINK AGAIN I WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THE HASSLE AND INCONVENIENCE THAT WE HAVE HAD

    Disgusted with Talktalk, no internet for over 48 hours, (paying for fast fibre that I've never had!!). Spent hours on the phone trying to get through, finally got hold through online chat only to be told the fast fibre team close at 7pm!! Managed to get hold of them this morning, they promised it would be fixed & would send a 3rd router. 10hrs later & nothing, spent hrs on the phone & live chat, but no answer again. You have lost a long & loyal customer, even if I have to pay to leave!! Terrible service!

    Just waited over 30 minutes to speak to an advisor to find out why my bill had gone up. I was told that even though I have a 18 month contract that it changes after 12 months???? I asked why and was told told I should read my package that was sent through with the contract. Be warned read the small print on the package/contract as they send as they put up the price to what ever suits them.

    Still waiting for my internet to come back on , been a whole week now and no signs of internet and £500 loss of earnings now and they don’t give a toss. This company seriously needs to be put out of business and I for one will not feel sorry for them one little bit, it’s staff are arrogant and rude they have pushed every button possible and I will never ever do business with this shower ***** ever again . Root in hell talk talk

    This is the worse service I have ever received in my life, internet went down on a Sunday spent 3 hours on phone trying to sort it with the rudest person even talking over you all the time, spent another four hours on the phone on Monday getting absolutely nowhere to be told fault was out side and would look into it, Tuesday was a record breaker four hours which ended up in and argument as I lost 2 days pay without internet (£200) loss, she said I didn’t need a new box as I ask for one to be sent out just in case, told someone would do more line checks and call me on Wednesday at 4.30pm, waited and no call so I called them, then I get told the faults with the box , I asked them to make there mind up and she said they send an engineer out in 2-3working days to which I will admit I lost it, I asked for the box and was told in an arrogant manner that I could have either engineer or box I couldn’t have both, apparently the engineer won’t be out till 2nd November 2022 if they have one available, each day I don’t have internet I loose money but this woman didn’t care . This went out of order on 23rd October 2022, I urge anyone not to use this shower of crap so please be warned they bring a whole new meaning to **** service

    Reporting a problem to a Manila call centre is a joke. They are unprofessional and do not know what they are talking about. Afire the called complaining about extremely slow fibre broadband, could not connect to Netflix either. Speed tests where carried out and it was agreed that I was not even getting half the speed promised. I was told that the router will be adjusted from Manila and that I should switch off for half hour and then turn back on. Asked if problem persists, she said to call back to arrange for an engineer. Called back as it was still not working, guess what, had to go through the same thing again and no engineer booked as I gave to carry out three ping tests over a period of three days......To be continued

    One of the biggest regrets ever. Awful customer service, like the worst ever. The router broke within 2 weeks we were sent a new one. That started to malfunction which turned out to be a problem within the internet line. An engineer was sent out who informed us the problem was to be resolved with BT. After a week no one had been in contact with us so I called talk talk up who told me they would be sending out another engineer. Nothing happened until 3 days later they called me. I was in work so asked them to call me Monday, they called me Tuesday so i called them Thursday. I am literally on the phone with them now. I can barely understand the operators so the calls are taking hours. The has been going on for 3 weeks now and the situation is no closer to being resolved. DO NOT JOIN TALKTALK whatever you do.

    broadband speed less than 1 mb you wait and wait for pages to load then it says not available at this time page has expired customer servises dont seem to know what they are doing they say they will call you back and you get nothing then when you call them they say it takes 10 days to monitor the service they are providing so on a scale of 1 to 10 they get a big fat 0

    Been with talk talk for 18 months not the faster speed but very reliable . End of contract coming up gave a months notice and was told I need to pay another months joke

    10 to 15 minuites to get a connection everytime you switch on very expensive to leave £220 for 18month contract they have said they will waive this due to being lied to over download speed gaurantee but not sure where to go as all companies seem to have appalling reviews so not sure if they will honour this .

    Absolutely rubbish company, I was left without a phone line and broadband at home for 3 weeks after they had contacted my previous supplier and given them a date they would be taking over my line, for them to take over my line 3 weeks later, not only that but I got charged for the 3 weeks I didn't have there services available to use, tried leaving after 2 weeks with no phone line or broadband for them to tell me it would be a buy out of my contract even though I had not had the service installed but apparently my trial period had finished, after finally getting the services installed phone line seems fine other then I'm meant to have caller I.D and it doesn't work, fibre broadband with my old supplier i was getting 38mbps download and 10mbps upload, with talk talk VERY unstable, loosing internet connection all the time and download speed struggle to get past 25mbps and upload of 2mbps, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

    Frankly they deserve no stars for any part of their service. Two major security breaches because they put profit over investing in security systems,now endless internet breakdowns. They are good at collecting the monthly fee and writign spurious 'we're so sorry' letters to customers. Avoid at all costs! They will ruin your life!

    When things are fine, TalkTalk are good. When things go wrong, however, prepare yourself for a world of stress.

    I lost my broadband connection on New Year's Eve. On ringing customer service, there was a recorded announcement which was no help. (What is a microfilter anyway?). On the third try, I got through to a human. Like almost all the other people I eventually got through to, he was next to no help, and hard to understand (Indian call centre, yes?). He, along with others, kept insisting I needed a separate phone line to speak on. I explained my mobile was in for repair and I had no other number to use, but they kept going on about it. I HAD TO SPEND £50 TO GET A PHONE JUST TO SPEAK TO THEM. I'm autistic with mental health issues, and their constant reading of scripts in strong accents just stressed me more. One person was very helpful and I thought the problem was solved, but it went down again the next day. The excuses were unbelievable - one even said their network didn't support my device (so how come everything had been fine with it for the last nine months?) and asked if a washing machine was nearby (microwaves I can understand, but washing machines?) In other words, everything except it being their fault. When I asked one member of staff to repeat or clarify what he said, he sounded sarcastic and unhelpful. The whole episode caused me a lot of stress - I don't really have a real world social network, nearly all my socialising and activism is done online. When you've worked a 12-hour shift, the last thing you need is to have to spend an hour on the phone to TalkTalk and listen to irrelevant and unhelpful advice from people you struggle to understand.

    Now I know why people looked at me strangely when I said I was with TalkTalk, and why they have such a bad reputation.

    I have been woth Talk Talk for 3 years on a TV, fibre, calls package.
    Unlike other reviewers I can achieve a 35mb plus download speed, however with VPN this drops to about 2mb. The service has been reliable, although slow on VPN. I have not lost a single day of service in 3 years.
    My biggest issue with the company is the scam phone calls I have been having for 18 months, before they even admitted they had been hacked. I receive daily scam calls from fake Talk Talk IT to fix viruses coming fom my router. Load of nonsense and unfortunately theses scammers are succeeding with some people.
    I am very angry that scammers have my TT account number, phone number, address, and name. Up to 5 calls a day. TT have never sent a warning e-mail, never told me my details were among those lost.
    I am looking forrward to choosing a new supplier at the end of my contract.

    i have been with talk talk 7 yrs and now switching to post office in final month of contract.
    Iwntget the free unlimeted calls that i do with talk talk but i dnt make lot calls so free week end cals is ok 4 me.
    I will be at least £10 a month better off

    For for nearly 3 years iv been with talk talk my Wi-Fi never worked to the point I was calling them constantly they will have all the calls recorded too to prove I’m not lying! I made ALOT OF CALLS! Their system is **** my Wi-Fi still would never work It would work like 1-2 days in the week it was a technical issue from their side! I then got to the point where I said I’m going to leave as I’m paying for Wi-Fi iv not been receiving it’s unfair not once did they offer to refund or anything they still didn’t fix the issue so I left (giving that I had given them so many warnings!) IV NOW BEEN FINED £258 FOR LEAVING THEM LIKE WTAF I would love to get my money back from all the years I was paying for Wi-Fi I wasn’t receiving!

    Connection drops everyday but their customer service or technical dept do nothing and go over a fixed script and they do this everytime you call. The talk talk call centres in india is the most fraudulent as they sell customer details to thiefs for business. The thiefs will take personal info, name address and telephone and ring them to scam money out of the customers. Talk talk doesnt care as long as they get cheap workers so they dont have to pay full wage to workers such as in the UK. Talk talk know its happening but dont give a toss. So dont do business with them.

    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! WORST INTERNET EVER!
    It hardly ever works, today it stopped working and they said you haven't paid, and I am on a 2 year contract! They are asking for other credit card details in order for me to pay the twenty pound and 83 pence debt when I still have a contract with them. I would give them zero if I could. Such scammers, they should be banned, something has to be done about this!

    Do Not even bother..I was Dumped by Virgin media ( landline & Broadband) & after one Ok phone call in the uk. I them had a nightmare when I move ..all calls to the Philippines, they had no idea what I was talking about when I needed a new line putting in . I had weeks of waiting although there was a socket on the wall. I had many calls every day, for weeks and weeks. The worst utility provider I have EVER used and now they have had a Cyber attack . Don't bother is all I can say .

    Recently moved out . Fortunately Talk talk don’t provide service at new address. Landline stopped working when moved to talk talk. They said they hadn’t changed it. First person spoke too helpful, promised certain things & not happened . Since then every time I’ve rung they said they can’t help as I failed security on email address I gave them. Yet I had received an email from them to the address I gave only 15 mins previously. They really are the WORST company to deal with. No issues dealt with satisfactorily all time I’ve been with them. They are the worst. Do not touch Talk Talk with a barge pole. Over priced and appealing service.

    Awful. Cut off everyday on and off. Rang to see what they could do and they couldn't do anything. Paid for fibre and the speed was terrible. Very very angry and disspointed with this company

    absolutely disgusting service only lasted 3 months made 40 odd phone calls, 10 hours on phone, 2 engineer visits one didn't show up, came out of contract, customer service shocking, hard to understand, haven't got a clue, ive sat for many hours listening to them type on their computer tap tap tapping away, they really don't care about their customers at all stay away if you want to stay sane :)

    I would I've 0 stars for all f I could and there's far too many reasons to prove why for short the list f channels wasnt as extensive as stated as there was no plus one of the channels in my package and the broadband was shocking dropped out all the time so much so that I increased my mobile data as i was running out every month since joining them and i need my data for maps as my job is on the road. When trying to resolve the issue I would get bad customer service no one seem to be allowed to do anything as apparently managers dont seem to have authorisation to do anything. So I will ask everyone to avoid.
    Please can everyone I know make sure they never join talk talk as they are the worst company I have ever had to deal with and please feel free to pass this on to your friends as I would like to save them months of stress and hassel. After 5 months or poor quality and bad customer service I have left and now I have to (apparently) pay for another month's service that I'm not even using as its been disconnected only to be told I will get my money back the following month and to add injury to insult they dont give It me back automatically i have to fill out a form to get It back. So please dont make the same mistake as me and please share.

    Been with talktalk for years so was happy with the offer of now tv cinema offer of £5 a month. For grandchildren over xmas. However! 10 days and still no talktalk, chatted to customer services 3 times to sort out. Gone past the will be sorted in 5 to 7 days and the latest response? It will be sorted when its sorted and we'll let you know when that is. Will be leaving when contract up as customer service is pathetic.

    Absolutely terrible company stay away! I moved homes and notified talktalk 2 weeks in advance, date was booked for engineer to arrive but no show. I wasted a whole day. Date was rebooked by a very rude Samantha from South Africa but she lied and didn't rebook so no one turned up again. It left us without services for a week and no apology or valid form of compensation was made. Their centres are in the Philippines and South Africa who all lie!! Stay clear!!

    My service is consistently inconsistent one day 25mb next day 7mb download speed weak signal around the flat spoke to talktalk numerous times and it results in me turning the router on and of and to restart the router

    are you looking for a broadband that will make it so you have to wait days just too download anything or a broadband that works for 2 minutes then breaks again constantly making it so you cannot play videos or online games then this is the broadband for you just in general a giant load of crap that should have never been made in the first place.

    DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL. I recently opted to take fibre broadband which was due to transfer over on 15/8 however lost all connection to any broadband. Spent whole of next day on the phone to Talk Talk with no success. Eventually they said that Open reach had not completed the switch correctly. This was a lie, two Open reach visits later the engineer advised Talk Talk the problem was at there end and a coding problem. In the meantime Talk Talk had insisted on sending a further new router despite the engineer stating that the router was working and not faulty. When the router arrived and was plugged in still no connection. Yet another phone call to Talk Talk who again insisted on sending Open reach out again. Engineer again spoke with Talk Talk who finally agreed that it was a coding problem at their end,just as they had been advised the day before but refused to accept. However, as it is now Saturday there is nobody at Talk Talk available to do the coding and we were told it would take up to 72 hours to do. Advised this was not acceptable and I wanted to switch back to standard broadband which the Open Reach Engineer could facilitate whilst he was still on site. I was told this was not possible to do today and would take up to 24 hours. Went ahead with the downgrade and Engineer moved the lines back. At present we do have broadband but this may change later when Talk Talk do whatever changes the are doing so I am not holding my breath!! This has taken four days out of my life to only be at the same place I started at. Throughout all of my calls with this company the staff have not taken any notice of anything I have said to help resolve the situation, nor have they taken notice of anything that Open Reach have advised until the final stage. They have been obstructive when I have tried to escalate the problem, and wasted much time re running tests that have already proved fruitless rather than accepting the information they have been given. It is impossible to continue to deal with one person and always state they can not transfer call this is another lie as when I insisted I would not end the call until they did so miraculously I was transferred, albeit I was on hold for 15/20minutes at a time. Overall I would avoid this company at all costs, as stated in one of the other reviews my monthly charged has crept up and up which I do not mind if they are improving their offering but this is not the case. My intention now is to cancel this contract and go elsewhere as I have no confidence in this bunch of idiots.

    This company are a joke, i had internet, landline & tv with them. The landline has not worked for 3 years, after 3 atempts at fixing it i gave up. Now my broadband has packed up. Took me 5 hours to get through to these idiots, then was told i had to pay another £84 before i could end my contract with them. I have no service so what am i paying for. The new advert for Talk Talk shows people laughing because of the great service...... joke! Avoid these rip off merchants, worst possible company. Soon everyone will get wise hopefully.

    Nothing but problems keep getting disconnected from which supposed to be fast connection I’m lucky if I get 4mbs am waiting for engineer to come having to wait 4days it’s driving me mad

    Am 80 yes old joined talk talk as it was cheapest,have complaints about broarb band. Keep dropping off sometimes for half day,phoned to complain and always get someone I canopy understand so have to keep trying to get an English speaking person which seems non existent TV adverts look so good hope not many people fall for it

    Anyone knows how to deal with such a crap issue: We have opened our Internent account with Talk Talk, and frist time arranged engineer to come in for installation in March 8th, however due to our schedule we can not make it that day, so we tried to re-arrange before March 8th, and been told by one of their customer service that we dont need an engineer, we asked: really and the lady said yes, no need. So we trust her, but when we moved in at 15th of March, we found a letter said engineer missed out us, then we realised that we do need an egineer as expected, so we tried again to re-arrange the time for the enginerr coming, the engineer came at 29th, which is quite late... but fine, as long as our internet could be sort out, hoewever, just while the engineer finishing his installation we got an E-mail from Talk Talk said that our account has been cancelled by the system automatically due to there is no fibre service in our area, we were so confused, and asked how could this happen, if there is no fibre why when we set the contract we have not been told, and even the egineer feel confused, if there is no fibre service, why send him here. so we have been told we will get a call by Monday, which atucally is Tuesday (today 05/04/2016) and they called us just say becuase our account is not active, we are invalid clients, they will not take care of us anymore!!!!!!!!!!!! We have wasted lots of time, and without internent, our life and work has been affected badly.... and now TALK TALK just behave like this with no responsibility, just wondering, what should we do??? How can we sue this horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
