    talktalk are complete jokers , they have no customer loyalty in place and couldnt care less about their customers , i was lied to and deceived and promised stuff by talk talk , only to me let down one after the other , then i told them i was leaving , they turned my services off , until i argued the toss with them , then i told them i wanted to downgrade to move to a better supplier and they took a week to turn off my fibre optic , i contact my future supplier and tell them right its turned off , go and do the take over , and low and behold talktalk 24 hours later turn fibre bk on again , so i couldnt leave ,then when i argue again with them , i tell them ok i will give them the benefit of the doubt , can u turn my fibre back on , they get all argumentitve and tell me no , because you have no direct debit set up , i explained i cancelled it months ago because i pay by credit card online , because talk talk never once , stuck to the direct debit date , so would try take the money out a week b4 or upto a week after , and that incurred me charges every single month , i was with them 7 yrs , every placed i moved to i took them with me , WORSE MISTAKE EVER , even with all the crap they have given me and the lies and the deceit , i offered 1 chance with them to buck their ideas up and their cancellations team come at me with an antagonising idiot of an advisor , this group of jokers are the worst suppliers i had to deal with , once you tell them ur leaving they act like stroppy children , i have contacted ofcom and made them aware of the problems i have had with them , hope they truly get fined for this ,,, they have lost 2 accounts in 1 go with me , i hope they lose thousands more tbh ....

    I joined talk talk in 2013 thinking it was going to be a good network to go with as it was cheap and promised fast speeds.....over a year later they never help with technical assistance, have raised my bill price by £15, charged me admin fees for no apparent reason, refuse to tell me why, have slower than ever speeds and can never seem to cancel my contract without facing fines for cancellation!!! DO NOT JOIN TALK TALK!!! They are in my opinion one of the worst companys ever. They do not treat their customers well atall and will lie to you to get a contract signed!!!

    I endeded my contract when I left York in November - I gave TT plenty of warning by phone and email. They did not acknowledge these. I keep getting demmands for rental payments. I emailed TT several times - THEY NEVER RESPOND EXCEPT TO SEND ANOTHER BILL. I am in despair as they refuse to answer any of my emails.Is my credit rating being damaged?

    Be careful of following technical faulting finding instructions. Talk Talk asked me to remove face plate of master socket numerous times when I recently was having issues with my internet. Eventually the screws gave in and I couldn't replace the face plate when I told Talk Talk this had happened they wanted to charge me £65 to fix the master socket. Can you beleave it! I refused to pay but I'm stuck as they are refusing to pay as they say it was my fault. I wouldn't have touched it if they hadn't asked me. Worst of all they incorrectly diagnosed the issue and it was a faulty micro filter that was the issue so if they had done their jobs correctly I wouldn't have had to go near the face plate at all. Time to move to BT!

    I've been with talktalk for many years and have now given up. I do not have the time or energy to switch providers but enough is enough. The customer service is awful to say the least, the staff are so rude and are unable to speak English properly !
    They are not good value for money and over charge on many things. I started by paying £15 a month and now pay £35, wouldn't mind if the internet was fast but it is appallingly slow !
    Cannot wait till May when my contract finishes, I will be moving to a different and better provider.
    Good riddance to a bad company ! TalkTalk is the worst company ever !

    Talk Talk to force us to upgrade to a more expensive product have CAPPED our connection to 1 Mbps. Their tech confirmed it and speed test are no higher than 0.88 Mbps. I called them they said they could see it was capped but would call me back when they had when they had foxed it.IT IS A SCAM !!

    AVOID TALK TALK BROADBAND IF YOU WANT TO AVOID BEING RIPPED OFF IT HARDLY WORKS AND SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE.

    Absolutely terrible. They continued to charge us after our first request to have the service cancelled, then refused to even acknowledge the request.

    We've now tried cancelling again, but we have to pay for an extra month we won't even use. They say they'll refund the last month, but refuse to give us any written confirmation of this.

    Avoid them like the cancer they are.

    The worst company I have ever dealt with the money they say you save you will have too lose by having days off from work because of problems with your service. If you try and make a complaint they always ask you too ring back at a later date. the services are intermittent so if you really want to watch something I would recommend you go with sky or virgin media. The worst customer services I have ever seen too there is no one who can understand a problem over the phone. AWFUL!!!!!!

    Have been stuck with this company for 30 months now and cant wait to be free of them! I kept going over my 1st £5 contract and was getting charged ridiculous amounts but instead of letting me upgrade I hade to take a another 24 mnth contract out.phone calls to them are very time consuming, staff are nearly never helpful and impossible to understand. and be warned if you don't ring up on the exact day your contract ends they will continue to charge you every month NEVER AGAIN will I use this company.

    I'm Italian and I live here for a few months. Everything that is in this country I love. Sign a contract with TALK TALK was the worst thing I could do. I have a problem for many days, and when I called the call center I have proposed to send an engineer to my house and pay £ 65. SUCKS!

    No internet since Tuesday. Spoke to online advisor on Wednesday to report. Was meant to hear back today. Nothing. So got in contact again. Previous person hadn't logged properly so we're back to square one. Had to threaten to leave and kick a fuss for them to escalate this. Does not seem to be any human beings that you can actually talk to. Their chat service keeps kicking you out so you have to keep going back to square one constantly. Is therefore taking too long to solve simple problems. I want a human being that I can actually talk to over the phone. Think very carefully before using Talk talk as clearly effective customer service is not their forte.

    I have never dealt with a worse company in my life. Internet speed was very slow, service terrible and on demand TV never worked. I then cancelled back in November and am still arguing with them over charges on my account, with conflicting emails sent by TalkTalk on a regular basis. First telling me everything is settled, then telling me I have to pay again. Stay well clear!!

    It is a rubbish company!! dont try it!!! I have broadband and TV and for 5 month I didnot have internet and each time I have called customer service (after spending hours in phone)they told me that "because internet is free we are not responsible for that"!! how rubbish company it is!!!

    Normally I don't write reviews but my recent experience with taltalk made Me write this one. I had been been Virgin for the past 14 years and they charged me a fortune! Signed up with talk talk despite all the negativity on the Internet and warnings from friends and colleagues to stay away from them. Came home from work one day and rang talk talk to cancel my order, the lady at customer services very professionally convinced me to try the talk talk services. Now I am pleased that I listened to her!! The engineer turned up 10 mins before the appointment time, I was live on broadband service within 1 hour. My phone line went live one day later and my you view box arrived which connected very easily using power line adapters and it's working fine! I was told my BB speed would be up to 38MB and I am getting about 35/36 mb which more than I need!
    So far so good well done talk talk!!! And the customer service I got was amazing!! Thank you all at Talk Talk

    DO NOT EVER GET TALK TALK. Broadband speed is unreliable, cannot contact the customer support and when you do magically do get through to them, you are faced with a million instructions revolving around you turning your router off and on. So far they have never managed to determine the issue behind the failing internet speed and intermittent connection. However they are more than happy to charge us the full amount and not fix anything. Not a happy customer at all.

    Why oh why did I change! I moved from BT on 13th Jan 2015 as I was unhappy with BT customer service, which is not great but I had no idea how bad it could actually get. I cannot begin to describe the problems I have had, the amount of time I have spent on the phone. Being passed from person to person, they just read from scripts and only tell you the same stuff you can find youself on the website. They have no technical knowledge. If I have to repeat myself one more time I will explode. Please, please, please avoid this company like the plague, ignore me at your peril....

    I can even mark talk talk an this chart system as there does not seem to be a minus 10, we have land line and Internet services for my mother as she is disabled and on medication and on top of all that made a widow 1 yr ago. This is when I noticed the phone line did not work properly, talk talk were made aware of the situation and asked to be fixed as my mother was vulnerable and it was dangerous to leave her without contact. This is now one year on and I'm still waiting on the problem to be solved. Today I had enough and asked for the services to be cancelled as we paid them over £400.00 for the services over the last year and my mother was still in the same dangerous position, so you can understand I was taken aback when they told me if I cancelled I would be charged £49 odds cancelation fee after a year of paying for services we hadn't been getting in the first place. Ile let you work out yourself what this company is like. Praying on vulnerable old people threatening with charges when all they are trying to do is stay safe. I bet none of these people would allow it to happen to there own mother. Should be ashamed of themselves.

    The worst customer service ever. They at rubbish and rude. They never sort your problems out. You never understand what they are saying. I spent 57 minutes on the phone and after soaking to 11 different customer service advisors they were still unable to order my free SIM card for my mobile. Absaloutly unbelievable. They are very very rude and rubbish. Never ever go to talk talk. Save your self the headache. I wish I had never gone to them. Rubbish rubbish rubbish rubbish rubbish.

    DON'T go on to TalkTalk whatever you do. I have given them 1 star because there are no minus marks available. I have been told so many conflicting stories I am reporting them to Ofcom.
    I ordered the above package and got a letter saying Go-Live date for phone and broadband for 16/1/15. I had told them I didn't have an external areal and they said that was O.K. but I wouldn't get Freeview, which we never watch anyway.
    The gear arrived and BT even replaced the line that had been severed by Virgin. When I tried connecting nothing worked and I was told by TalkTalk when I contacted them that go live was 19/1!
    On 28/1 I rang them to get their TV Plus package. On 2/2/15, not having received my TV box, I rang them only to be told that the order had not been placed. I ordered again and was promised by their agent that everything was alright and he guaranteed that he would place the order immediately.
    On 6/2 rang them to find out where the box was. I was again told that it hadn't been ordered. They then said that because I didn't have an external areal.
    I told them to cancel the order but the agent in that department said that there should be no problem getting the TV On Demand via the Internet. I was then put through to Customer Loyalty and spoke to guy called James who was very helpful, confirming I can get TV coverage, via the Internet. I was passed back to Customer Services who said I must have an areal.
    This kept going on. I rang them on 11/2 only to be told the box still hadn’t been sent. I was put through I made my 5th call to them to find out about the TV package and was told, yet again that the order had not gone through.
    I have spoken to a Manager called Tasha who said everything was o.k. and a lady called Myers who informed me that she is the top person there and I would definitely get the TV box. If I had any problems, she would always be available to talk to me. She wasn’t!. I’ve also spoken to a Moses, Andrew and Nancy. They all gave conflicting information and promised I could get a box. All lies.
    Fortunately, I recorded the most of the calls.

    Promised a shopping voucher upon joining. It never arrived. Their response - they posted it and so it's my bad luck. Numerous issues with the service. Really glad to finally be leaving.

    I used to get 7meg down almost all the time, now get app 3.5. Service frequently drops out and needs rebooting, hardly ever able to watch smart tv catchup could not listen to internet radio in early hours got 0.53meg. Customer service useless they just follow the script do a few test treat us like idiots and resolve nothing.
    All forums complain about all providers yet nothing seems to improve, it is just taken for granted. Would we drive a car that ran on two wheels every few hours NO would we fly in an airliner if two engines stopped every take off NO. It realy is time someone or group took the people to task.
    Makes my dilemma worse want fibre do I upgrade Talktalk or change AHHH

    Insisted that they could provide us with broadband despite BT failing to do so on one line. Then when we left for a cheaper deal they clearly passed our relatively new phone number to everyone and now we are inundated with spam calls, many from talk talk themselves or so they say. Don't touch with a barge pole

    Since joining talk talk I have had nothing but problems. I was told internet speed was to slow so I paid to upgrade to fibre optic. Its made no difference on internet service except I now pay more.
    Ive also been charged for engineer visit when engineer did not show up. Im now looking into ending my contact early as service is very very poor. Would never recommend talk talk

    Over charged every month, promised refund never received it, billed for parts of package we were assured were free,they dont understand plain english when you phone up to complain about over charging absolutely dire company to deal with. Counting down the days until we can get out of contract

    The worst service and customer service that I have ever experienced. The broadband is extremely poor. We signed a contract for 12 months which was £2.50 a month and immediately they put the price up. They are always trying to bill us for things that we haven't used. We are now at the end of our contract and are moving providers, but they are trying to charge us for the line rental that we paid for up front at the beginning of our contract. We have spoken to them on the phone numerous times, they insist that we pay for things that we haven't used, their customer service is useless as they are really unhelpful and won't make a note that we want to cancel. None of the call centres are in the UK so it's impossible to get things resolved quickly and efficiently. I can't wait to move next week.

    I spent a week trying to get connection Kept being sent message all fixed and new incident numbers
    Kept going round in circles and repeating over and over again appalling service lengthy waiting put on hold every time
    One good person who rang me back at end of week and sorted it they need this as their culture
    Their internal systems of communication seem very poor if they exist no one owns a problem to see it through
    I felt my week was taken over by talk talk and reading other reviews I am shocked by how often it is happening and how often people say it's rubbish They say they record calls to improve the service but it would not appear to be making a difference Do they need more training in customer care and better systems that work it would save them time as well as customers Consider when automated process actually causes more problems and frustration Listenning to customers and recording well wouldbe a stat so the homer is not repeating themselves on every call Worn out by them and I'm paying them!

    Your members of staff are extremely rude and do not listen to anything we had to say when trying to explain. Also i feel that you rip of your customers and when my contract is up i will no longer choice to be a talktalk customer. Such a shame as iv been a valued customer for sometime but feel very upset with the way i have been treated with my last querie!!!!!!!!

    I will never never use Talk Talk again once current contract is up. Customer service (what a joke that name is!) seems to be designed in the hope the customer will give up. They managed to swap our number with someone else's when allegedly upgrading us to fibre broadband. This took numerous phone calls to sort and now they have not applied the £20 compensation promised and we are still not connected to fibre broadband.

    I am a TalkTalk everything seemed to work fine using ADSL, I then upgraded to Fibre, I didn't notice much difference in speed as I live close to the exchange, but when I run speed tests, the system kept asking if I was using cable or WiFi, I thought nothing of this, but now we have starting trying the TalkTalk TV, unfortunately I am unable use this service as I receive an eror (IPC6017) pointing to broadband speed. It is the now 6 Feb, I reported this fault on 29 Oct, I seen two, so called TalkTalk 'engineers' both looked blank and left stated they would push my fault up, however each time the fault just gets closed stating the fault is repaired. Also as said I seen two engineers but reported the problem over 10 times, on average my case will be closed after 4 days without anyone connecting me. I have done a bit of investigation and found that people with TalkTalk can experience this problem because the Fibre order has not been finialised with BT.
    I feel that I shall be leaving TalkTalk as I am entering month four and still my fault has not been repaired.

    cheap and nasty - you find this out when you have a problem . Foreign call centre a waste of time unable to get problems resolved. Will not give out uk telephone number to contact them directly.

    I switched from BT to TalkTalk Business Fibre on Jan 29, 2015. Today is 4 Feb and my phones don't work. When sold to me I am told that the transfer will be automatic. However since last week I cannot use the business phone number and customers are not getting through to me. Having paid thousands of pounds through the years for advertising this is simply not acceptable. TalkTalk are blaming Bt Openreach but Openreach refuse to talk to the public. TalkTalk tell me they hpe to have a solution by Feb 17, 2015.... I shall see them in court if that is the case

    I recently had quite a complicated fault on my line which caused me to have a intermittent connection.

    It took just under a month to get the issue fixed and I don't know for certain yet that the problem is fixed as the Open reach Engineer said that he's 90% certain he's fixed the problem so only time will tell.

    Overall this month I have spent a lot of time speaking to various customer service advisers at Talk Talk but, I have to say the way that they've handled my issue and my complaints have been excellent.

    Their own broadband engineer they sent out to test their own equipment was brilliant and spot on with his tests and diagnostics and the engineer from Open Reach that came out today was outstanding in his dedication to find the fault on my line. He worked on it all day in freezing temperatures and he didn't give up until he was satisfied he'd fixed it.

    Eric in level two tech was very helpful along with Elaine and Nasima in Network Management have all been fantastic.

    There was a point where I was starting to lose confidence that my issue would ever get fixed but fingers crossed I think my line fault is fixed!

    My experience with Talk Talk has been very positive and I can whole heartedly recommend them.
