    I left a perfectly good company in order to get "a better deal" This was by far the worst decision I have made in a long time! It went live on December 29th and every day that followed was horrendous. The internet kept dipping in and out possibly 30 times a day. They sent 3 separate engineers out to "CHECK" as their customer service kept saying. They must check everything all over again. In fact one of the engineers actually told me that Talk Talk had the worst equipment. It is in fact rubbish! I also had a second router and that was actually worst than the first one! It caused a huge argument between myself and my husband as I was the one that changed over to them. The TV would freeze also, and the pause and rewind did not work either. In the last month of me being with them, I was up over my head in anger and frustration of the lack of service they promised, they asked me to give them 28 days to "Sort it out" (Again) (Then I could leave without a breakage fee! Every phone call to them was at least 30-45 minutes long. So when they rang me and left a message for me to contact them again, I totally ignored it. I received a letter saying I owed £366.66p as I was breaking my contract! I was absolutely mad over this so rang them, it took 40 mins to get off the phone to them. They said they understood and that it was an oversight!!! I have now changed to another provider and couldn't be happier. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH TALK TALK. You will be wasting your time and money and also your Sanity!

    Talk talk are rubbish I have had nothing but problems the customer service are rubbish , I have had loads of problems with pictures braking up internet. Slow and they did not turn up

    Never, ever, ever use this company. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered and it took me ten months to get anywhere. I hear now they have been hacked. I'm wondering if some of their dissatisfied customers have managed to hack them!! Considering there are so many my thought is not entirely beyond the realms of logic. I'm very sorry for the customers affected but Talk Talk , in my opinion, have been asking for this.

    I had to cancel Talk Talk after my Mum died. The bereavement service was a joke and took 45 mins to answer. Their phone line was abysmal and kept cutting out. I constantly had to ring them to get things right and then I received mail asking why I had left, when I had had a death in the family. Shameful.

    Been with them for years. It's a bit like that nagging headache that won't go away. Phone line has a permanent engaged tone. Broadband is slow with pings of 2441;207;1987;194;87;
    I have been charged for engineers fees as talktalk can't locate the faults.
    I believe customers should Walkwalk instead of talktalk. They are not worth the headache go elsewhere

    I would never recommend to anyone. No broadband for 8 days. 90 mins spent on phone chat on 4.2.22 30 mins spent on phone chat 10.2.22. Promised return phone call this morning didn’t happen. All helplines give a message about a fault since 25.1.22. They have not given any help or customer service whatsoever. I’m moving to another supplier!!

    So far we have waited a week to get our broadband connection and still not happened. It feels like as long as customer services make a call to you the actual issue is irrelevant ! They don't even tell you where they are calling from but launch straight into their script. Wish we had stayed with bt and can only hope the service improves !

    We were recently sent a new super router and switched to a fibre network on the promise of faster speed and more reliability. Although not the fastest, we never had any issues before the switch over. Our internet now drops out several times a day for varying lengths of time. I need reliable internet as I now work from home. We are seriously considering a change of ISP

    Worst company I have ever dealt with.
    Broadband speed atrocious. ....connecting to an operator almost impossible. .... totally not worth the time or money spent on hoping to get a good deal. In the end returned to my previous provider who I now realise are an amazing company. Would definitely not recommend. ....

    Don't touch them,sorry I left BT.I had phone only and added Broadband. Received letter 29th Dec advising changes would be no longer free calls to 0845 or 0870 or Voicemail. Received Bill Jan £63.50, £44.62 for calls! She said because I wasn't advised I no longer get free calls would knock £20 off. If I want free calls will have to take TV package,no way. Now I have to pay £7.50 per month for free calls. My friend has same package as me, Simply Broadband, and pays £29 odd per month with free calls, I will be paying over £36 for same package. If I want to cancel contract it will cost me £150. Don't touch them they are liars and con merchants. Been on to Trading Standards to see if they can help me.

    Absolutely appalling service. We've had months of broadband dropping out and in the last fortnight, download speeds have struggled to reach 0.5Mb, the average being 0.2 (a long way from the advertised up to 17Mb). Just spent an hour on the phone to customer services whilst thye ran a test (which the automated system had already done 20 minutes previously)> The outcome was - you've guessed it -I need
    a 'free' engineer visit. I have politely declined. I do not need an engineer to tell me whether my TV is working (bog standard plug in and go - no internet or cable TV services) and that my phone (on which I rang TalkTalk) is working, nor that the router is not working (it is working but the bandwidth from Talk Talk seems to be the probable problem and they do not seem to want to address this. I wonder if it is because I am on the most basic package...but my monthly fee is as good as the next man's - it is what I can afford (barely, but I am now looking to move supplier...seems they are all taking us for mugs!)
    Do not touch Talk Talk if you value your sanity!

    If you want decent broadband then steer well clear of TalkTalk. My recent speed test shows under 1mbs download and I’m paying for at least 38mbs. I am sick of ringing them. My phone line is very noisy and they just aren’t interested. I am now leaving them for a more reliable provider. Not good enough TalkTalk get your act together

    Thought I would give talktalk a go as was sick of my current providers charges increasing, I shouldn’t have bothered. Within 3 days of having it installed could not get internet upstairs and as soon as I stepped out of the house into the garden the internet signal was gone. Talktalk were not able to fix the problem, waste of time customer services with no knowledge at all. I was able to break the contract within the month due to the service being unfit for purpose. It’s true, you pay for what you get.

    Have been with talktalk for years it's only when something goes wrong you find you cannot speak to anyone. My home phone has not been working for a month , then done so called checks on line and told us it was our equipment so bought new phones still they did not work eventually they said their was a fault on line , this is all done through text or automated phone calls . They like to speak to you when trying to sell you something ! My last update text was 4 days ago telling me they would update me in 48 hours ! .
    And they have put up my line rental from £137 to £180 this must be the most expensive line rental ever.

    Wouldn't even give them 1 star. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Been arguing with them since 10th of February 2018 and STILL no getting anywhere with them. They refuse to admit they're wrong. Been promised compensation but they calculate it a very unfair amount which make everyone sad. waiting.over 15 phone calls, many engineers and managers involved and STILL NOTHING.

    DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They are 7 days late with my router and TV. I still don't have it. I keep calling them and the customer service received is disgusting. Not happy in the slightest. Keep getting told "oh it will be with you tomorrow". It never is. Ridiculous.

    This company is the worst ive ever dealt with they continue billing me despite me saying ive left property into temporary accommodation ive asked to cancel and they have not. today i asked for it to be moved to temporary accommodation and they not helping they keep billing me ive had enough it really upsetting companies like this exist. customer service is very very poor. Im just stuck i really dont know how i get through to them

    Worst Wi-Fi company I ever had .I mover house and asked them to come to set it up as it wouldn’t work .I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for technician to come .He came in and he had no clue what he was doing .He said that some parts missing he forgot to take it with him.Dispite that I’ve waited no one came for next 2 weeks .So I cancelled wifi I send a email to explain the sostuation.They brought me a bill off 200 £.I didn’t pay it because I didn’t have Wi-Fi at all .They put my name in bad credit score without consulting at all .I had to pay it after even they put my name in bad credits .Disgusting company avoid at all costs .Thank you

    I am unhappy at all with their service. My broad band keeps cutting off and I have to change to my mobile data most of the time when I am planning to do something important like paying my bills online because I am worried that the connection will stop half way through the process and I have to repeated it again.I keep complaining about it and when ever I chat or call the same check and the same procedure but no difference. The broad band start to work ok for few days and the same problem starts again.
    When I chat with the agent they keep advertising about another expensive broad band option which is I am not interested in.
    I am planning to leave them.

    While transfer to a new provider from Talktalk for phone and broadband was taking place, Talktalk issued a new contract without my consent. I phoned twice but they did not rectify their mistake. Talktalk sent me a letter confirming the transfer which took place on the 5 Dec, but still they kept my account active. They are sending me emails asking for monthly payment, I sent a complain letter for which I have not received any reply yet instead today I have received a threatening letter from Talktalk. Have any of you received the similar treatment from Talktalk? This is an harassment which is causing me stress and taking up my time.

    Your service is terrible. I've been on phone to one of your team for about 2 hours in total, just trying to place an order for broadband. Sales team can't sell me one cos my order a month ago was 'rejected' apparantly, even though I had no email or new anything about this. And apparantly the cancellation hasn't gone through so can't order a new one. But the cancellation team new nothing if this cancellation. I was put on hold about 10 times. 2 people just put the phone down on me and the complaint department was apparantly "closed" when I wanted to put in a complaint. Awful service!

    Very poor customer services. Tried for two days before I managed to get hold of someone. Despite the website indicating a customer care line available until 10 pm, I received a message saying unavailable at the moment. Tried the app no success... maintenance on website...and so it went. Finally got hold of someone to arrange a home move. Then they got the date wrong which meant I would be without internet for a month! Asking them to adjust and correct the date I was told they can’t do that and the whole one hour conversation was for nothing as the only way to fix it is to cancel it completely and that I need to phone back the following day!!! Very very poor service and it makes me cross that I need to pay to get out of my 12 month contract with them. Stay away definitely not recommending them as internet provider.

    Dear all,
    Please try to avoid this company ,one off the worst company I never seen in my life ,if you try to explain your problem no one leasons to u and customer service was zero,no one knows how to handle the problems including the managers I spoken to shift engenier manager on 25jan at8.30am was so rude
    They are try to charge for £70 without my knowledge and I don't have service for two weeks, no internet and TV
    Same time my land phone wasn't working for two months,
    I complained on November , engenier came to fix that problem but they want to charge engineer fee in too my account,can you believe this
    Still I got pictures in my Mobil to show the proof when first engineer came fix the the service ,he doesnt know
    Very careful if u got account with them please check u r direct debit,
    Every single customer will face this problems in the future

    Me personally I don't recommend this company to anyone,

    Absolutely terrible!! Please stay away.

    I have tried Talk Talk Broadband (the 'fast' fibre optic option) at two separate locations in the United Kingdom. The speed is terrible, it cuts off regularly, the routers are unreliable and forget about simple browsing at peak times 6-9pm weekdays - they drop your speed to 0.5mb/s when you pay for 30+mb/s. Forget about their customer service trying to help you! Plus a lot of call scammers from India target TalkTalk customers.

    I have been with PlusNet for a year now and I cannot recoomend them more. A world of difference between talktalk's third world internet and PlusNet's broadband (fast, reliable, speed never drops)

    I renewed my contract in July. The deal was to receive an echo dot and smart plug in 30 days. Still haven't received them. I have phoned customer services 3 times to be told it will be with me next week. Still waiting and now it's October. Disgusting

    I really do not understand "HOW" when you have signed up to a "FIXED PRICE CONTRACT" your provider can "HIKE" the cost of your service less than 6 months into your 18 month term and with a "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT" attitude that frankly stinks, to then blame this rise on kids home schooling due to Covid absolutely shameful.
    What I find absolutely galling though, if as a new customer you sign up for a new contract you get a gift card which when taken from the overall monthly cost of their service means said new customer is actually paying less than a customer who finds themselves in the same position as I now find myself in, i.e paying for said "Gift Card"
    Here is a suggestion "TalkTalk" by all means offer new customers incentives to sign with you but not at the expense of existing customers, in this way you may find your customers will actually stay with and recommend you rather than spending their time looking for alternative providers. I for one cannot wait to get away from you now, your Customer Service is wanting to say the least.

    Shockingly abismal service! Customer services are obviously all over the world - very seldom get to speak to anyone remotely understandable! Further, constantly given inaccurate information, then further, conflicting yet still, inaccurate information! Website utterly useless - leads you to believe tasks are accomplished when in fact they are not! After 6 weeks, I'm changing providers!! The worst service I've ever encountered! Stunned its possible to be so ineffective!

    I have been with talktalk a number of years. The broadband has always been slow and cuts out. I have fibre but it makes no difference. I am within 10 metres of the main juction box on the road. I have spent over two weeks Caught up in Web of lies from your customer services team. Only to receive some generic letter from them, that's full of Blah blah blah sorry you had a bad experience. They didn't even mention my complaint within the letter.
    My problems were as follows still not sorted-
    1. £65 charging for NOT fixing my line-
    2. Taking said £65 without notification or consent -
    3. Calling my number and hanging up when I answered. Then reporting on my account unable to contact customer- a lie
    4. Calling me from said number 08009555511 on my mobile and say
    that that number was not their's and saying the other calls were not them either. Another lie
    5. Said they would fully investigate and forward full report to me with action taken- yet another lie
    What do I get - lie upon lie; a generic letter; more bad phone calls; & still have a bad phone line and slow broadband.
    I dread calling them to try and fix this continuios problem

    Since joining 4 months ago I haven't been able to register for my online account due to their security problems. Now registration appears to be possible except the process doesn't work, I can only get halfway through as I am not receiving the code by email to let me complete my registration. Therefore if I have a query I have to call as I cannot do anything online. I think altogether I have spent a few hours on the phone to their customer service staff trying to solve various queries. Half the time you can't understand what they are saying as it sounds muffled and their accents are not clear either. they are slow and don't seem to know what they are doing. They are pleasant enough but fairly useless, taking hours to try and resolve problems. I have just spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to 3 different people just trying to get £1.90 back for a paper bill charge (which was supposed to be free because I cannot register and see my bill online) and to get my registration complete. I have the credit but still am not registered so will probably have more problems in the future. Its just not worth the hassle and I will be looking for another provider.
