    I joined talktalk , I cancelled on the second day as there is no internet , But they send me a bill after cancellation .The reason for bill is the service was apparently live .That`s why I have to pay the bill. After more than 30 minutes argumentonly they waived the bill.Appaling customer service, rude and arrogant customer service people don`t want to disclose their name .Don`t join with this company.

    The broadband speed is generally extremely slow, and when it does pick up, it's only temporary. Extremely unreliable service, and although the call staff are friendly enough, they do nothing in terms of actually fixing the issues.

    After a while, broadband starts getting unstable. Usually just before an ad campaign for expensive upgrades. It then takes ages to work your way through customer service until you finally get to technical support who can adjust te signal to noise ratio. Then it works again. We had this 3x in the last 4 years, and every time they try to sell us an upgrade first...

    I just had a call from your company today regarding my internet connection which is quite awful as is sometimes the reception on my landline telephone. I would love to know why you cannot get someone that is fluent in English to make these calls as this guy could speak any. We pay enough money to your company, step up and pay enough and you will find staff up to the job.

    In the centre of a city where we are paying extra for ultra fast broadband with fibre optics the internet connection is worse than our previous house in the middle of the country. Quite often I have been unable to lead a YouTube video or a google search and watching a film over the internet is just a nightmare. I am constantly frustrated with the inability for it not working. I THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PROVIDER.

    If l could do 0 l would, had no phone for a week with no resolution. Makes it worst my internet went off, and after 4 hours of phone calls. All got asked was the same questions with no resolve, if l wasn't in contract with them l would leave. Avoid at all cost, it will cost you more time and money, than you will have the pleasure of there services.

    Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Hours of phone calls wasted about an issue which was their fault, which has cost me a fortune!

    Internet use I haven't used due to faults still paid for (because of their incompetency in handling the situation).

    Advisors hanging up on me. No way of cancelation unless I pay.

    I will be contacting consumer rights in order to take my matter further.

    Never in my life have I been do un happy with a service. Not worked in 5 months and still charging me for it. Try to cancel hundreds of times get put through to technical department then phone gets put on hold for over 30 minutes. Talk talk are thieves take money for a service there unable to provide... shocking do not use this service...

    I regreted going with talk talk in the first 2 weeks it stopped work everytime you ring there customer services it takes 10 mins to actually speak to someone and then when u do they dont listen to you do the same stuff over and over , i have now rung them well over 20 times in 8 months had to engineers out and still i get 2mb 2! My girlfriend lives a 2 min walk away from me and gets 32 mb with talk talk , ive had enough have offered me no discounts or anything waste of time save your money and go somewhere else . Disgusting and useless

    I left sky to join talktalk as they were the only ones who had the option of fibre.
    Before the changeover began i had problems, they started to take the line too soon and so my phone line was in limbo. I could not make outgoing calls and my sky broadband went to pieces. Ironically at the time i thought because i had handed my notice in with sky they had some how slowed my line right down, apologies for that to sky!
    To be fair to talktalk i asked and got £60 compensation so my first two weeks worked out free.
    Once the broadband was installed for the first few weeks it was really good but then all the problems started. Terrible reliability, slow speeds, high ping making gaming completely impossible. If i reset the router it might make a difference for a few minutes it might not.
    I have complained to talktalk and they tell you no problem with the line or external fault and it is being rectified. Nothing changes.
    Today i have subscribed back to sky, i know talk talk will want an early termination fee but i am willing to argue this one in court. Shocking service that just should not happen these days.
    I don't need the fastest but i want reliability. I had it with sky, heading back and will never touch talk talk again

    In the words of comic book man, WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
    Customer service is abysmal, the broadband connection is atrocious, and their engineers haven't got a clue! Hence why BT are always called to actually fix the problems. If you're hesitant whether to choose talk talk or not, please know that there is not a single part of talk talk which is good. Don't be fooled by the price etc, 1 million percent not worth it! can't even cancel without paying stupid money!

    I now left Talk talk due to a Broadband Stability Issue and I still struggle with my latest Bill Charges.
    I have been spending so much time over the phone with the customer services that is ridiculous.

    I have been trying to cancel my broadband for several months now and the customer service is ABYSMAL. I have called I have emailed I have done everything under the sun and to no avail. Even when the service was running it was extremely faulty and I had to swap to a different provider. Stay away from talktalk

    0/10 on all counts. Utterly appalling service, I have never had such poor service from anywhere in my life. Customer service is non existent.
    I was forced on to TT when Virgin sold out: Virgin were appalling but TT are considerably worse. They increased the monthly cost of the broadband without informing me and initially refused to listen to my complaint. Eventually after months of trying I was refunded the overcharge but the price was then put back to the higher amount.
    Download and upload speeds are utterly appalling and that is when the service is working which is not very often. 3G 1 bar is often considerably faster than TT broadband in the same room as the router. My advice is to avoid TT at all costs.
    My new BT broadband starts tomorrow!

    Customer service is absolutley terrible. All foreign call centres following a script.I suffered 2 major internet and phone issues over a period of 16 days called TalkTalk on a registered mobile to report a fault and progress chase and got charged £22.00. 20 years as a customer no refund offered and have spent many hours on a phone trying to resolve problems they are utter rubbish. Gone to BT NOW VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

    Having never in my life felt the need to review any product I have purchased, I felt compelled to document just how terrible this company is.
    Their foreign call centre 'installation team' are robotic and are simply unable to deviate from a programmed script. Following daily calls to check on when an engineer would be returning to complete my installation, I was simply given a date of 2 days in advance and would be told to await the report from the engineer. That date would pass and a further date was provided, again 2 days in advance. Like groundhog day, this process went on for 2 months.
    It got to the point were I was lied to about attendances that never occured and they simply continued to blame BT Openreach.
    I cancelled my order due to their complete inability to be able to be able to converse with another human being and due to the deceipt and ability to offer anything other than a scripted apology.

    I have no idea how this company exists in a market of broadband providers.

    If you need customer support it is absolutely awful.
    Personally I'm on a VDSL fibre service and the equipment they provide is a bit dodgy, bombing out a couple of times a week on what should be a 30mbit continuous service!

    If you can get away with not using their customer services dept, think yourself very lucky.

    They actually deleted my mother-in-laws email address due to errors in their system. Now she is having to re-register with all her websites she visits - as their CS department can't help.

    OFCOM should stop you being an ISP.

    I have been with this company for nearly 2 months now and it's turning into a nightmare. Firstly, I had to wait for 3 days after the engineers installed my equipment, despite being told that they would have me up and running before leaving. I live in York where TalkTalk provide superfast broadband but it isn't super fast at all. It's worse than what I had previously with Virgin which is advertised at a speed 15 times lower. Then, I went to use my landline and it wasn't working so I contacted them and they suspended my services for 4 days because of their mistake when they set me up. They told me it would be 2 days, then 3 and then 4. Lies and incompetence and I'm not standing for it any more. I have made it clear to them that one more cock-up and I will cancel my dd and see them in court if necessary. Awful company - stay away! Remember the old saying - if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

    This is the worst broadband company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Ripped me off increased bills because I was unable to use direct debit. Directly threatened me on the phone when I couldn't pay. And then threatened me again to damage my credit file. The service was always slow and dropped out a lot. One time i had no Internet a week and no phone line. Excuses constantly. No refund for loss of service and my last bill I just paid off was £29 yet they threatened ruin my credit file for 6 years over that. Didn't send any bill in post. I didn't even see the email until yesterday. A complete and utter joke of a company. Really your reputation will suffer treating people like dirt. Two of my friends have today cancelled because way I was treated by Talk Talk so go enjoy your £29 pounds out of me you just lost a lot lot more.

    Worst customer service I have ever encountered. You can spend over an hour a day either on chat or calls and get no where .. false promises continually that someone will call me to discuss … lies never called then got the nerve to put on my record that they called twice .. shameless .     Without a doubt the worst ISP in the UK, perhaps even in the world. Internet practically disappears on weekends, as they massively reduce average service during peak times. I go most of the week without internet, or with extremely slow internet. I have NEVER had a higher download speed than 1Mbps, and when running a speedtest I'm told my internet speed compares globally to the average internet speed in Sub-Saharan Africa. Great job, TalkTalk, I hope you go out of business or at least get a grip on your dated infrastructure, maybe employ some actual helpful customer service, and get your act together! Would advise anyone to avoid it like the plague. *Rant over*

    Signed up on an 18 month contract via Currys on a fibre deal. Within 4 weeks of installation they increased the price. When I sign for a contract the ammount quoted is what I expect to pay for the term of contract. NOT WITH TALKTALK!.. DISGUSTED...

    Awful broadband provider, I have been with Talk Talk for 2 months and so far my internet has been down for 6-7 consecutive days which is a disgrace and customer service showed no sign of fixing the issue or treating it with urgency. They are the worst internet provider I have ever experienced, you are better going with another company.

    Was with Sky but not happy with their Service. Had no idea how bad things could be until I moved to TalkTalk. Poor access, no E Mail now for two days and on the odd occasion that I can make contact, am entirely unable to understand what is said.

    Unreliable. Varies from 0.9 to 18 mb/s from moment to moment, means I can’t work from home. Almost impossible to get hold of anyone to try to sort out. Got worse as contract went on. Leaving 2 months early and just paying the money so I can get a reliable speed.

    No phone line no internet no reduction in bill live chat use phrases like I am dearly sorry I had aol for ten years and the internet always worked I have been with talktalk 5months and about once a month I lose internet the phone line hardly ever works and the Indians at the call centre seem to think i am a diagnostic expert absolutely useless.

    Broadband is so bad. Sometimes it randomly turns off and we have to wait for minutes to turn on again. Sometimes, like now, it is just crippingly slow. When I asked customer service they tried to help and said it was an issue on my end

    Talk talk are terrible. Broadband speed is slow, customer service is useless and most of all their e-mail service fails three or four times a day. I am in the process of collecting all my e-mail data with a view to leaving in a few weeks. I have been with them for a few years and they have got worse. When they changed their e-mail system by shrinking it, giving it less features and far worse reliability that was the last straw. Good riddance.

    Have just tried to cancel Broadband again. Was told months ago that I would have fibre within a few weeks. Have little idea what I was just told as I could not understand but basically, I will not be getting faster access. Was told that I neede to talk to "Technical Help" tried to butt in and say that all I wanted to do was to leave Talk Talk but wasting time -
    Just want to leave but cannot face another hour wait

    Awful customer service. The advisors must be so regimented they cannot answer a simple request without checking you need faster internet. Asking for a leave date brings a raft of offers and a lack of listening to the question asked. No issues with the speed of the internet of costs; just VERY frustrated EVERY time I have the misfortune to need to either call or use the live chat feature.

    DON'T go on to TalkTalk whatever you do. I have given them 1 star because there are no minus marks available. I have been told so many conflicting stories I am reporting them to Ofcom.
    I ordered the above package and got a letter saying Go-Live date for phone and broadband for 16/1/15. I had told them I didn't have an external areal and they said that was O.K. but I wouldn't get Freeview, which we never watch anyway.
    The gear arrived and BT even replaced the line that had been severed by Virgin. When I tried connecting nothing worked and I was told by TalkTalk when I contacted them that go live was 19/1!
    On 28/1 I rang them to get their TV Plus package. On 2/2/15, not having received my TV box, I rang them only to be told that the order had not been placed. I ordered again and was promised by their agent that everything was alright and he guaranteed that he would place the order immediately.
    On 6/2 rang them to find out where the box was. I was again told that it hadn't been ordered. They then said that because I didn't have an external areal.
    I told them to cancel the order but the agent in that department said that there should be no problem getting the TV On Demand via the Internet. I was then put through to Customer Loyalty and spoke to guy called James who was very helpful, confirming I can get TV coverage, via the Internet. I was passed back to Customer Services who said I must have an areal.
    This kept going on. I rang them on 11/2 only to be told the box still hadn’t been sent. I was put through I made my 5th call to them to find out about the TV package and was told, yet again that the order had not gone through.
    I have spoken to a Manager called Tasha who said everything was o.k. and a lady called Myers who informed me that she is the top person there and I would definitely get the TV box. If I had any problems, she would always be available to talk to me. She wasn’t!. I’ve also spoken to a Moses, Andrew and Nancy. They all gave conflicting information and promised I could get a box. All lies.
    Fortunately, I recorded the most of the calls.

    In general, our experience with TalkTalk has been very poor. The connection has been intermittent at best, disappearing at least once almost every day, and the router is seemingly scarcely able to send a signal more than a few feet. On top of this, we received confirmation that we'd be paying £20.70 for eighteen months, only to then be charged four different amounts (none of them £20.70) in four months. We were then told that the price has gone up to £25.20, and that we were warned of this in an email to all customers (which we mysteriously never received). We now have no option to cancel without paying over £200 for the privilege, and are stuck paying much more than we agreed to or expected to pay. In summary, our TalkTalk experience started disappointingly before descending into a living nightmare. I'd advice anyone looking for broadband to avoid this company at all costs.

    please read this trustpilot review before joining TalkTalk.

    TalkTalk are by far the worst company I have had to deal with.

    There help desk in South Africa is useless - it took one of them 10 minutes to take down my postal code. I have absolutely nothing against South Africans but they cannot understand my Yorkshire accent and trying to deal with them is a pain.

    After dealing with this company I have to say that they have no care at all they do not want to help.

    When you sign up you get an English person talking to you in English and they're very helpful and all friendly and cheery. Until something goes wrong then there's disaster because none of them are interested in the slightest.

    I have spent 7 days trying to get through to these people and no one wants to listen they are absolutely hopeless.

    I have left 36 messages on their CEOs phone which always goes to answerphone, no one answers. No one listens to the messages or contacts you about your concerns.

    They even got my address wrong they seem to think that I live at house number 0 on my street. This is an impossibility as house numbers in the UK start at number 1 and go up from that. I suppose they are to be congratulated in that they actually got the correct street name.

    In a few words THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.

    Do yourself a favour don't join talk talk you will regret it if you do. All will be good when you join but the moment you have problems they just don't want to know.
