Had issues with this service since the day 1! They sent me a broken router and said that it should work nevertheless! After trying to contact them for ages they decided to send me a new one which didn’t work! (yet again). Engineer had to come and fix this issue and we were promised a compensation for our troubles which we never received and we paid for not having any internet connection for a full price (never discounted). It was working fine for a month and the we started having issues since September, after trying to contact them through the live chat for ages, we were told that the internet line was faulty and we need an engineer but we shouldn’t worry as when contacting them again they will already know the issue and we won’t need to go through it all again. However, the live chat didn’t work and we couldn’t contact them for a few days. Finally, after reaching out to them they said there is nothing they can do at the moment as they are experiencing issues themselves, try to contact them in few hours. Which we did, but they didn’t respond. Today I managed to reach them: the first person i talked to said that the issue is the placement of our router and i kept saying that last time we spoke i was told we needed an engineer, he kept disagreeing until i said that i want to talk to somebody else. After 2 hours of conversation I managed to get an engineer booked for tomorrow, but they do not care about stress I had to go through just to fix the internet. They are not prepared to help others with the issues especially during pandemic when the internet is needed more then ever! Would never recommend this company!

If I could rate 0 i would. I use my data on my phone 90% of the time I'm home cus talk talk doesn't work at all, we r now paying over 50 a month for Internet speeds of up to 6mbps when we should be at a garuntee of over 20 at least, I cant even watch Netflix cus of how bad the Internet is and no one would even help us at talktalk

Our business Broadband stopped working yesterday, I called Talk Talk and after around 1 hour on hold I was advised that Talk Talk had closed our account in error due to an address mix up, and that it would take 21 days to reinstate our service. We have been a loyal customer with Talk Talk for several years. Our direct debit payments were up to date, this is absolutely disgraceful service, we are an on-line retailer who rely on Broadband for our business. This sort of behaivour from Talk Talk is outragious and shows that they really couldn't care less about their customers. DO NOT USE TALK TALK IT COULD RUIN YOUR BUSINESS.

Avoid at all costs. Worst customer service. When there's a problem you get offshore call centre people who politely and slowly read from a script. Getting them to actually do anything proactive is near impossible.
Spent hours on phone and live chat over two days eventually managed to get engineer booked who was then cancelled without my being informed as they remotely judged the fault to be fixed. After another couple of hours wasted on customer service finally got another engineer visit (OpenReach) and he had to come back on consecutive days due to inability to get TalkTalk to answer his request for line to be tested.
Awful company.Do not use.

Talk Talk is a fraudulent service provider, they don't but customers but care more about money and not ready to know, if the service is working or not. I took Talk Talk contract in September with installation date on 14th September. The engineer came but could not install it, due to distance as he said. He left with promise to report the matter to the office. After waiting for weeks without response, i contacted their office, after series of argument and pushing blame to me, another engineer was assigned. The engineer came and ended up with the same story that he can't it install because the distance is too far for the package give to me and promised to report. While waiting for them, Talk Talk started charging me. I call them to find out, the response, was it is my responsibility to to plug the router because the line is active, few days later a new router was sent to my house making it two lying in my house uninstalled. To cut the long story short, i am still using and paying bills to Virgin media while Talk Talk is charging me, even when their routers is still lying on my coffee table. I have cancelled my direct debit but they are still threatening me to pay for services that were never installed. This is the worst situation of my life, it is depressing and has increased my anxiety, since the whole episode started, i have been on medication. How do i get my life back from this nightmare?

Sorry to be the part pooper but I’ve been with TalkTalk for 10 years now. I have a constant broadband speed of 70Mbps for which I pay £19.95. The speed never drops and nor does the connection. Not ever. Last time I spoke to Customer Service was about four years ago. They resolved my issue quickly and accurately. I’m so impressed by the service I have received for the price paid that I’ve now signed up for Broadband 150. I am not expecting any problems.

Shockingly low speeds, endless complaints & the worst customer service. Awful offshore CS centre who absolutely fail to deliver anything & are unintelligible
A dreadful, frustrating experience.

We had problems from pretty much the start with the broadband, hours during the day where it wouldn't connect. As soon as covid happened and we were working from home we were lenient with how awful the internet was as we assumed the usage across the UK would have gone up. But after several months of it getting worse we contacted the customer service for help. 2 months of 'tests', spending hours speaking to the CS team and getting no where. Promised 4 times that a manager would call us back to discuss the awful service (both from the broadband and the CS service) but a manager never called. Every time I called back, it took about an hour of back and forth, useless chat to get to the end point which was always 'a manager will call you back'. But they never did. The service is disgusting, do not go with TalkTalk. You get pulled into a contract and then that's it that is all they care about. The broadband is awful and they don't look after you at all. DO NOT GO WITH TALKTALK! I have wasted 8+ hours talking to their team and it resulted in nothing.
