    Currently going through endless and repeated series of calls,live chats and checks on failed wi fi. Appalling service. Even had to complain about someone shouting at full voice in the background. Disgusted at their lack of professionalism. Been without WiFi for 3 days and have no confidence in them sorting it any time soon. It will be bye bye Talktalk from me. Would rate them minus zero stars if possible. Stay away from them. Useless.

    Do yourself a favour and use someone else, I’ve had countless broadband connection issues and hardware issues. In a bog standard residential area.

    My bet would be service in the Shetland Islands would be more reliable than these bunch of the chancers in the Centre of Manchester.

    I’ve spent well over 15 hours in total dealing with my various issues with broadband and each time, “It’s a problem with your line” Then you have to arrange time off work for OpenReach to come out, whom I’m on first name terms with the 3 engineers that cover my patch.
    They then tell TalkTalk it’s their equipment, they send a new router, don’t compensate you for your outages and the cycle repeats!

    If you wan to pay for a service you never receive, I who heartily recommend these guys!

    AVOID THIS COMPANY.
    I requested to cancel my account online in August due to moving out. I work Monday to Friday, so calling is extremely difficult. I paid what they said was an early fee. I received an email the following month saying I owed another month. I tried calling them up whilst taking the time of work to do, I was passed over the 3 different departments and had to explain exactly the same 3x over!! to the point they hung up on. No one explained any information about any other payments... I called up again in October explaining I am still in debt to them!! I ended up paying over £70, and exhaggerated i wanted my details removed from the system and the account closed as this was getting ridiculous and i havent lived in the property for 2 months. By the time I got the payment I still tried disputing any of these payments considering no Broadband was used between these months. Again, the laziness and unhelpfulness of the staff just kept passing my call to department after department. When I made the payment, I specifically asked the guy on the phone before making it, if my details will be removed, my account will be closed and me not receiving any further emails from them!! His reply was yes. Until today another month later, another email saying I owe a month bill! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I had to take further time off work, ONCE AGAIN explaining what has now happened and AGAIN being passed over department to department. I finally got to someone which has basically tried to state it was my fault and I now have to pay this month off and also pay off another cancelation fee and also pay for a month in advance!! I told her to listen to the call from when I paid, to the point she was getting herself confused as her associates had written different notes down! She then stated they had to listen to the call and determine who's at fault! She got extremely funny when I then asked for the copy of the recording so that they can say they listened and pin my liable! It's absolutely disgusting this customer service and Talk Talk as a company! The whole thing seems like 1x giant scam, I have never missed a payment with them or behind. The internet and connection were average. When i explained when she was trying to blame me for this, she said "well these customers that leaves the reviews don't understand out policies and are upset because they need to pay!!!!" I said to her, when the reviews are exactly the same as my complaint... and your own staff members don't have a clue what they are offering, selling or writing notes and even said yourself you're confused, what does the tell you?! THE ABSOLUTE CHEEK. after putting me on hold and 2hrs later... I was hung up on!! Now what?! So baffled that a company like this has not been investigated into and things have been taken further. They will not take another payment off me for their own mistakes!! As for taking me details off their system after I paid this bill, and they didn't... that's another concern in itself!!

    Talktalk has terrible customer service. I gave up after 10 phonecalls, I have tried to explain them that I want Fiber 65 for 18month contract, gues what!? I have ended up with fiber 35 for 24months. I have noticed that on the bill after 30 days.... No point talking to them, waste of time, for your own sake please stay away from talktalk.

    Worse ever service ive ever had …. terrible if i could score -10 i would…. 3 days of been transfer , lied to and put on hold …. how many times ive lost count !!! this is by far the worst broadband company on the planet …. i need internet for medical reasons which ive stressed on countless occasions and nothing … just lie of lie …. this is a way of keeping you hanging on … “ i just transfer you to the correct department “ 5 times today … we both stressed and had enough.. Its been the worse time ever ive dealt wit any service provider …. after over 3 hours we was getting no where and we both was on 2 phones speaking at same time to cancel!!! in the end i said no more transferring … no more details you have had them a hundred times already enough is enough we cancelled … we then contacted our bank explained the trouble and cancelled the Direct Debit … i wouldnt wish this on anyone …. our first couple of weeks in our new dream home by the sea has been ruined by Talk Talk BEWARE

    I wish I could give zero marks. One day someone came to my house and said that I checked that my home internet is over and he gave me a good offer, he boldly convinced me to accept his offer and sign a contract with them. And he said: It is free. Up to three months and I can cancel without any cost in these three months. A few days ago I found out that my contract with Vodafone is going to end in another year and when I called Talk Talk customer service they refused. They asked me £162 to cancel it and despite my witness being there on the day and me telling them, they were disrespectful and refused to cancel it for free.

    If I could have given 0, I would have, supposed to have WiFi fitted on the 14/11, had no contact to change the date whatsoever, after ring customer services more times than I can count, been told that its now not being set up until the 29/11, less than useful staff constantly being passed around from department to department and put on hold,cancelled my contract before it even began. Do not go with talktalk.

    Worse company! Is a joke of a company and unprofessional! I waited for an engineer to come, they changed my appointment twice, then I received an email saying that they cancel my contract. With no reason at all and me left without internet for more than 3 weeks!

    Found talktalk service to be terrible over the years have told them this many times to be told the same rubbish like is there something blocking your modem move it to another room etc.
    The worst is I’ve literally been trying to cancel my service for which I don’t even have a contract for over 3 Months but for some reason if you have a landline have to give them 30 days notice me and my wife have spent countless hours on the phone to them speaking to rude staff that when they can’t sell you an upgrade bounce you department to department until someone just hangs up. After leaving complaints you are asked to send your reference number someone will be in touch no one ever does so when you again ask where is my call

    I have now cancelled my direct debit and getting threatening emails on I need to reinstate it or be charged for a late payment. These people are thrives and are some how allowed to get away with this. It’s a disgrace of a company how can someone read these reviews and think it’s ok to run your company like this!! Why can’t you just have a cancel subscription page on your website oh yeah it’s because you can just keep taking payments till it suits you. Awful company awful service

    1 week without internet at home and not knowing when it will get sorted. This has caused serious aggravations in terms of time and money to me and my wife as we both work from home.

    The service support from Talk Talk has been the worst ever. Not enough staff available, so they never respond the phone and it takes sometimes hours to reply in the chat. The staff does not have any clue and they just repeat always the same protocols and questions ignoring all the precedents.

    I have spent all along the week around 12 hours in the chat (not joking) without getting anywhere. The best I have got is the visit of an engineer in 3 days, that will be already 10 days without internet.

    Avoid this company, their customer service is ridiculous and cero emphaty with the client

    Worse customer services I’ve had ever had to deal with .
    Been 14 months now trying to sort this out , told the haven’t got username and password as forgot them so there response can’t help you then , ask for a phone call back from a manager they said 24/48 hours that was 13 months ago … so they said log in my account and change number on account so I can then change email after 10 attempts to do this I’m lock out back to calling customer service again explained I was lock out they said they’ll send a password reminder to the email address THE ONE IVE FORGOT AND CANT LOG INTO

    Talk talk service as well as customer service is horrendous,, they have the most laziest customer service team i have ever encountered, i had to make 10 calls to just cancel the account, they werent put me on hold endlessly

    Disgusted with Talktalk, no internet for over 48 hours, (paying for fast fibre that I've never had!!). Spent hours on the phone trying to get through, finally got hold through online chat only to be told the fast fibre team close at 7pm!! Managed to get hold of them this morning, they promised it would be fixed & would send a 3rd router. 10hrs later & nothing, spent hrs on the phone & live chat, but no answer again. You have lost a long & loyal customer, even if I have to pay to leave!! Terrible service!

Complained to email address given for complaints they just refer you back to live chat worse than useless or yo call customer service who never answer. Never use this company they are a disgrace

    Do not ever join talk talk . The service is extremely npoor . The staff are unprofessional, i reported the internet fault two weeks ago but they promise me by today and tomorrow but never showed up for the kast two weeks now. They do not send you email /text message atlest you know that some one is working on the issue .They do not have email /text service.They do update you.Rubbish service , rubbish , company and unprofessional staff!!! Strongly advice never join talk talk!!!

    Like many others, i switched providers at the end of october. Talktalk have not cancelled their service that is no longer even connected let alone used and i have received a bill for another month.

    Have tried to sort it out tonight, phone got cut off twice, stupid online chat tried to sell me another offer that i dont want. Finally got through but i have not received any notification that its actually been cancelled.

    Its a joke of a company.

    Been trying to cancel Talk Talk for weeks, not even in a contract and we've been told unable to cancel and will still be paying as you have to cancel online and my father doesn't even have internet and doesn't go online. Can't do anything by ringing them up, disgusting service, just go around in circles. He has stopped his direct debit and wants a final bill but we have been trying to get them to understand this for weeks. Horrible for older people who want to do things via phone, appalling service.

    Although I had no issues with their actual internet and its speed TalkTalks customer service is atrocious! Their online help chat is pointless as the people behind it have no idea what they are doing and if you accidently get disconnected you have to start the whole process from start. Their phone help line is just as bad as it takes at least 1 hour before you get connected to a human being. Also be careful if you switch address on your talk talk account online as they will cancel your current contract and sign you up for a new one without your knowledge. Worst customer service ever!

    Not happy at all been left few day with out any internet and they have the cheek to send me my invoice payment not satisfactory my internet seems to be struggling and I have been updated by city fibre now new box inside house nothing just outside so not fit for purpose take my money quick enough don’t want to sort problem out very in happy with service

    Stay well clear, always had internet quality issues and rang Talk Talk to cancel my contract in July 2022. Was told at the time that this was now in hand as BT would take over, I had nothing more to do. We are now in November and I have recieved bills from Talk Talk and a debt collectors letter. Four hours later after thinking it was a mistake on their behalf
    and Talk Talk staff arguing with me after confirming I did cancel in July. I was told because I did not give specific information about the terminology of how BT were taking over, I was liable and the termination of contract in July was not accepted. Hours later I realised that what I was expected to do was engineer the change myself and report in technical terms how I did this, thats actually what Talk Talk implied. They said it was in the terms and conditions, therefore they now said it was my fault. I eventually paid the bill as BT said they would reimburse me due to confusion about what Talk Talk expected from a customer. I could now cancel the contract, having paid and was referred to another department. But wait....another clause, despite re-confirming that I had cancelled the contract in July which was not accepted, I now have a 30 day cooling off period until it would be cancelled meaning December is when I will be free of that horrific company. Even BT remarked on this being unacceptable and crafty.

    Talk Talk initially blamed BT and then said it was my fault after I repeated what BT had suggested. Talk Talk were referring to a specific cable used that I did not report therefore tough luck, I should have known and explained the cross over process which the BT engineer carried out. Honestly from day one, its been hell with Talk Talk from poor service to awful customer service and long phone waiting times.

    I had to cancel Talk Talk after my Mum died. The bereavement service was a joke and took 45 mins to answer. Their phone line was abysmal and kept cutting out. I constantly had to ring them to get things right and then I received mail asking why I had left, when I had had a death in the family. Shameful.

    Awful. Had them in our flat when we first moved in together and it was okay, moved into a house around a year later and has been non stop issues. Speed is poor, keeps cutting out and service is poor. Currently trying to cancel with them and have been on the phone for 45 mins and spoke to 5 different people.

    Awful.
    Cut off before switching ISP. TalkTalk conveniently, for them, could only send an engineer before the new line (FTTP) was installed, rendering their engineer visit pointless. They won't, however, pay any compensation for the time they didn't provide a service because no engineer came.

    Not being funny but I've had nothing but problems from TalkTalk, after setting up a payment plan and 3 hours of phonecalls I finally decided to sort it, however now my internet is cutting off every 5minutes and it's beyond a joke, they're telling me it's an issue with the line, they sent engineers out now they're telling me its my router, but are charging me for a new one, I just want internet that I pay for!!

    I have to raise awareness for people. DO NOT GO WITH TALK TALK. They are the biggest fraud out there. From network to service to the way they treat customers they are absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Not once or twice but several tim3s their service would go down and they send you a confirmation for engineer to come but no one shows up so you not only paid for the service you're not getting but you're also losing time and more money because you can not work from home anymore! Spome to technical issues manager Lisa (Cmp/336948) and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She treated me terribly, did not resolve any issues or a simple apology for the times she was scheduled to call me and shi didn't. Her excise was my system was down. But her colleagues said that she is on the phone and she will call you after which she never did. She they went a head and lied again saying that she has booked an engineer on Saturday 29th in the am hours but she can not give m3 a guarantee. This is after then missing their scheduled time by 8 days! So I asked formy policy to be cancelled since they has already breached its terms but she refused to connect me to cancellation team. After speaking to them they understood me and I managed to cancel my policy after 11 days of battling with them. They still have my money that they charged me when I had no service. Absolutely the worst company in existence. Save your time, money and nerves and never sign up to them. It's a trapppp

    NEVER AGAIN.

    I've been with talk talk for 3 years - renewed twice with them. Not once did I ever call up to complain about how slow the speed was (only gave them a heads up on the phone when they done the renewal process to switch me to fibre 65). Promised me the service would be much faster (absolute lies). Anyway, my contract was coming to an end on 24/11/2022 - followed their ts and cs to cancel with 30 days notice as I didn't want it to renew or roll on a monthly contract. BEST BELIEVE I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 1 HOUR 30 MINS! First colleague hung up on me and said she would call me back (never called back). second colleague passed me through to about 4 different agents who all said the same thing "okay I'm going to pass you through to the cancellation department now". Last agent said he would pass me through to the cancellation department and that I 'wasn't going to be placed on hold anymore but put directly through'. This was a lie (I was on hold for 10 minutes with him). I was then told that nobody from the cancellation department was able to help me as according to him: 'they're not cooperating with him and refusing to take my call.'

    At this point I'm getting VERY VERY frustrated. It is illegal for a company to force customers to stay in a contract. You cannot force people to stay in a contract when their obligation date is met and take extra money off them. WE'RE STILL IN A PANDEMIC!

    I was trying to voice my concerns to the agent on the phone who was patronising me and didn't want to listen to what I had to say. He was speaking over me constantly and had no remorse for what I had to endure. He wasn't helpful at all but kept repeatedly saying to me "you need to work with me and be patient. Is this something you can do? Can you be patient?" DO NOT PATRONISE ME! He then proceeded to say "nobody wants to help you cancel your contract". AT THIS POINT I AM FUMING!

    Whilst on the phone to him I then speak to an agent online who tells me to call the same number to cancel my contract as 'this is the only way' - I then blast this person on the chat as I have already followed this procedure but nobody is willing to help me. They then end up cancelling my contract for me. This took 10 minutes online even though I was told they were unable to help me.

    After speaking to about 10 different people - the agent online cancelled my contract 3 days after my obligation date and I have to pay for a delivery to send all items back to them and wait for a final bill to be charged to my account. At this point, I don't care if they charge me extra I just want out of this ridiculous company and service.

    This has honestly been the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. How on earth does talk talk not have ONE available agent to cancel my contract? I felt like I was being lied to constantly. This is how they force you to stay. Do not listen to their lies... This is how they leech even more money off you.

    I didn't even want to give it 1 star but trustpilot won't allow me to select no stars.

    I've now switched to Virgin Media thank god. I was with them years ago and had zero problems with their customer service team.

    Somebody is probably gonna respond under my review with some automated BS. So looking forward to that response they admit to others. Terrible company who are so quick to help you sign up/renew but don't wanna help when you want to cancel. Absolute terrible service. It's funn how all these trustpilot reviews I've been reading are all the same response about having difficulty cancelling. WHAT A SCAM! If my review can help other potential customers avoid the same ordeal I had to go through then I will continue to make sure I speak the truth.

    To all those agents I spoke to on the phone unwilling to help me out laughing, behind the phone - Karma is real out there, and ya'll can get f*****!

    Still waiting for my internet to come back on , been a whole week now and no signs of internet and £500 loss of earnings now and they don’t give a toss. This company seriously needs to be put out of business and I for one will not feel sorry for them one little bit, it’s staff are arrogant and rude they have pushed every button possible and I will never ever do business with this shower ***** ever again .     Their internet service itself is not too bad while it is working. But I am currently have a fault outside my home and have no broadband at the moment. I have reported a fault 9 days ago, already had 2 engineer visits booked and they did not turn up both times, and now I have third one booked. Will they turn up??? I will definitely consider to find broadband provider who can fix their faults within few days, not weeks.

    This is the worse service I have ever received in my life, internet went down on a Sunday spent 3 hours on phone trying to sort it with the rudest person even talking over you all the time, spent another four hours on the phone on Monday getting absolutely nowhere to be told fault was out side and would look into it, Tuesday was a record breaker four hours which ended up in and argument as I lost 2 days pay without internet (£200) loss, she said I didn’t need a new box as I ask for one to be sent out just in case, told someone would do more line checks and call me on Wednesday at 4.30pm, waited and no call so I called them, then I get told the faults with the box , I asked them to make there mind up and she said they send an engineer out in 2-3working days to which I will admit I lost it, I asked for the box and was told in an arrogant manner that I could have either engineer or box I couldn’t have both, apparently the engineer won’t be out till 2nd November 2022 if they have one available, each day I don’t have internet I loose money but this woman didn’t care . This went out of order on 23rd October 2022, I urge anyone not to use this shower of crap so please be warned they bring a whole new meaning to **** service

    No Broadband for more than 7 days

    Rubbish service, you can't contact customer service. Paying for broadband without having any access to internet. Just pathetic. Don't buy talktalk. Never going to go back to them again.

    Absolutely disgraceful company!!

    I had no service with them for my broadband, they told me the router was faulty even though it had been working 2 years prior.

    Tried to close my account, they didn't do it although they said they had, then when they finally did it I was told I didn't have to pay anything because of the mad service, but then they charged me two months service as they said my account was still live (although I was told it wasn't) and they passed the so called "debt" onto a debt collection agency which has negatively impacted my credit score!

    Avoid company at all costs!

    Terrible scam artists. Due to finding a cheaper broadband deal, I switched to a new provider and they stated that they would contact Talktalk. Switched as planned, then Talktalk send a bill as normal. Called talktalk to say my provider has changed and I had already checked that my line to talktalk had been switched. Talk talk then claim they had not been told. New provider gave dates of sent and received confirmations. Called TT many times, after giving you security details four or five times and being passed around, you are eventually connected to cancellations. The perfectly clear phone call suddenly changes to the sound of a hundred voices, louder than your agents voice and the sound constantly breaking up. The same thing happens every time I get through to the cancelation team. I can never complete the process. I going to have to waste yet another 45 minutes to get through the them. Due to the repeated nature of problems of cut offs and poor sound connection in only the cancelation team, I can only assume it is completely deliberately unprofessional, so that you cannot cancel. Meanwhile my new provider has given me extra credit on my account for the difficulties Talk Talk are causing.

    Very bad service, We have booked for a broadband account 1.5 months before, havent got it yet. The engineer didnt installed it. But reported as activated. Even if we contact them through phone, their responds is not satisfatory. Our Account number: 1014290920. please dont go with talktalk. We have not got internet connection and keep deducting cash. No technician will come or help.

    Avoid at all costs. I was sucked in by their offers, but regretted it for months. I never got the speed or stability of the broadband service promised. Poor customer service. Call out an engineer to have a look, that's an extra £50. Then spent 3 months trying to get out of the contract. I can't recommend this company, and I won't be using them again.

    Poor poor company. Customer service is shocking. Loose orders! Despite sending out confirmation emails saying everything will change! 9 different departments bouncing me around because they don’t know how to deal with it or who should. Can’t wait for my contract to end! If I can’t get out of it sooner. Internet seems okay not really had issues with that but when there is a issue, you won’t be treated right and they don’t care!

    Expensive and slow. We've been with Talktalk for years and should have moved years ago. Were paying > £50 a month for average speed. With Virgin offering direct fibre we've made the move away now. We were treated to high end customer service from a UK based TT customer loyalty team. Offered a great deal to stay. Promised all sorts. Chatty and charming. As soon as we asked to cancel we were bounced to a non-UK call centre and had all sorts of problems getting cancelled. Had difficulty making out what was being said. A marked change of tone. Then the final insult, the broadband speed was immediately dialled down to 2mbps even though the switch over date is still 12 days away! This is way below what we were getting on our out of contract service. Pretty rotten way to treat long term customers but there you go. Won't be back.
