Awful.
I'm trying to submit this review quickly before my connection drops.
I've been on an 18 month contract with EE-tv (which is woeful by the way). When ringing to get things fixed (which I've had to do many times) you mostly get someone in india with the inevitable communication issues that follow or someone in the Uk who's nice and friendly but doesn't get the problem sorted..
initially I was very happy with the broadband but over the last 2 months its got progressively worse and despite reporting this to EE its now virtually non existent, and I'm paying £40 per month!
Wont ever use EE again.
Coincidentally I'm also on an EE mobile contract which has got worse over the last few months as well. I used to get 4G at home now I hardly get anything at all.
This also reported but not rectified.
Really unhappy with EE generally.

Been with Orange/EE for over 10 years, you're all complaining about service and speed, well i don't think its EE that are causing your problems
When i moved to my house 10 years ago the speed was rubbish and kept dropping, we worked and worked on sorting the issue with support, it turns out there was bad cabling in my house and the phone lines outside (overhead) had degraded - was 40 years old.
Anyway i took care of the internal wiring, by disconnecting the whole lot and just had the router and a cordless phone plugged into the master socket.
Then EE arranged for Open Reach to run new cables from the telegraph pole all the way to me master socket
Since then i average 15.5 MB and about 800K up, which isn't bad for ADSL2, the phone line is crystal clear, my connection stays up for months at a time till i reboot the router.......
All of you dont knock your supplier, its more than likely an issue with cabling in your premises.

I moved houses and my new address came with a broadband provided in my rent. As a result I called to cancel my EE broadband contract. I was told I need to give 2 weeks notice so I will be charged for a week of August as I called them too late. Instead I got charged for a whole month of August. I called and was told I will get a refund. First day of September I called to check whether the refund is going to be in my account soon. I was told it will be once, the new bill is produced. Instead, I was also billed for another month , I called again, I was advised to cancel my direct debit to avoid being charged. We are in October and I just received a bill for October and being told I need to pay a late payment fee as well due to cancelling my direct debit and failing to pay for September. I called them the fifth time today and was told my refund won't be happening until December. It's a joke if you ask me. Wouldn't recommend.

I joined ee jan 2016.
My broadband was 4 days late being activated and customer service didt know why but I just hoped it was a one off.
Over the year they cancelled my direct debit payment 6 times so I refused to re add it.
My payment date was 1st of the month without notice they changed it to the 21st
No answers of why
Throughout the year my service cuts off for no reason still rubbish customer service.
Then this happens!! I couldt even watch a video! My download speed was 0.35 upload of 0.07!!!! With my contract promising min of 17.0! At all times.
Ee said it's my box at mistakes and they will get me one for today but no it's not here
NEVER SIGN UP TO EE AND REMEMBER IF A COMPANY FAILS TO PROVIDE THERE CONTRACT YOU CAN GET OUT

The internet connection goes from 6.69 to 18.52 Mb without warning, that is when I do not loose connection. I have notified EE several time with this problem without getting a resolution to it. FYI they advertise up to 76Mb per second in my area!!! But the monthly charge remains the same... Of course

THE worst broadband and phone line service I have ever come across and I am now stuck with them for a year. Firstly they have completely messed up moving my landline number across like a bunch of complete amateurs and now I have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to fix it because apparently there is nothing the supervisor at their Indian call centre can do. The broadband they provide if you can call it that is the worst slowest thing I have ever seen, it literally took me 3 attempts and about 5 minutes to load this WEBPAGE! Stay away from EE if you want an actual internet connection.

Much slower speeds than we should be getting on our contract, an unreliable router/modem that requires constant attention to avoid network drop outs, and struggles to deliver a signal upstairs into the bedrooms. Upgrading to Virgin Fibre ASAP.

BE WARNED A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! AVOID EE. Finally come to an end of a 12 month contract with EE and it has been the worst home broadband company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Unable to use any device at anytime for the past 12 months and have spent hours/days going through the same test procedures with Indian call centre who on over a dozen occasions was promised call backs that never happened. I finally spoke to a UK call centre who couldn't have cared less. Thankfully I have unlimited tethering with Three mobile so I could work from home on a faster 3G signal than the broadband I was paying for. I was was with a company called Primus before with no problems. Poor beyond belief and unable to exit my contract unless I paid in full for the remaining term! AVOID

If you want to sit for hours staring at things loading then this is ideal for you, however if you actually want to recieve a service your actually paying for like reliable broadband speeds then dont bother with EE and thats saying alot as ive been with talk talk previous and let me tell you they were 100x better at providing a good relatively fast speed. EE is so pittifully slow that ut would actually be faster to go down to the local library and use books to find the answet to anything you may need. 0/5!!!!!!

I called EE twice this month asking whether I can move my broadband onto my housemate by calling them. They told me twice it was an easy quick process. I called them today and they said I had to send them a formal letter !!! I canceled my contract completely. Never again.

Always when I try to call customer service I wait for 20-30 minutes on the line until I get through. The representative promised to call me back 2 hours later but he didn't so I had to call them again and wait on the line for another 30 minutes. This looks like a standard way of trying to get through. Frustrating.

DO NOT GO WITH EE BROADBAND
First alarm bell was having a date to switch, but it didn't until a day later meaning I had no broadband for 24hrs. I work from home so lost £95. Once up and running the speed checks looked good but while working it kept dropping out, and while streaming it constantly buffers and has poor quality. We spent hours and hours on the phone with EE. One particular time they did a diagnostic check with completely killed the broadband, again. Another £95 gone from my wages! (I had taken all my holiday so had to take unpaid leave) when we called back we were told its was BT's fault, so they logged a fault. On a third phone call we got through to a tech team at EE who reconnected the broadband and told me that it was (without a doubt) the call centres fault I had been cut off. The tech guy was absolutely fantastic and it did help but it's still not fixed. I can't watch Amazon TV as it buffers every 2 minutes with 'insufficient bandwidth'
We have cancelled our contract and I wish I had never joined them.

If you have the misfortune of getting the Indian call centre (ICC) EE customer service are painful. A call will take twice the normal amount of time it would otherwise.
Connection was awful - broadband kept buffering on all devices
After calling to complain the ICC cut the connection for our BB completely.
EE ARE TRULY BT LEVEL APPALLING FOR BROADBAND. FOUND SKY FAR FAR BETTER

What on earth I went with ee for. for nearly two years I have off and on problems. even when fixed it works just for a few days and same old story starts again. Absolutely poor and horrendous service. When they say they will be sending the technician to fix it no body turns up. and upon query they say their system is down and cannot say anything. Good bye ee at the earliest opportunity. If you have a stress free life then join ee for stress.

Internet is super slow, constant lags. When you call customer services you wait at least 20 minutes (on more than 1 occasion) to speak to staff who keep you on the phone for over an hour trying things you have already tried (Switching on and off... come on). Promised calls backs that never happen. Ending up cancelling and going with another company. Terrible

I have EE at home and also at a studio address, 30 minutes away. I experience dreadful internet speeds in both locations - I frequently get no pages loading for hours at any time, whether on laptop or phone. On phone, the instant I turn 4G on instead of wifi, the pages whip up. I have no issues with EE for 4G and phone reception but their internet is utterly useless. I will revert back to Virgin as soon as my year expires.

Broadband speed is slow as dial up. I am unable to view anything but text online. Images can take around 5-10 seconds for each one, and can't watch youtube videos unless I want to wait half an hour.
Frequent disconnections.
I have had to resort to tethering from my mobile internet, which has been very costly.
I live in central London, near tower of London, right among businesses with high speed internet. There is no excuse for the poor service.
Cancellation is very difficult, they put you on a queue for half an hour or more.
Avoid this broadband provider, its appalling that they're allowed to operate.

It took me a month of being on the phone for hours at a time being lied to by numerous customer service agents in a foreign call centre to get my broadband finally working after a fault on the original connection. And now it is up and running I'm getting speeds of 5mbps at peak times which means the internet is pretty much useless. I'm just waiting until I have a spare 2 hours and some saints patience before taking the plunge on another ordeal with customer service

Engineer sent to wrong address
5 weeks to get a connection and 42 phonecalls
Damage done to business
They never have any clue what the issues are with the service
Takes a day to upload 5 minute video
Engineers do not show up
Call centre is AWFUL
Despite having no service call centre informs me they will charge me hundreds of pounds to leave and they can leave me without a service for up to a month before I can break the contract
Awful company - the worst
I pay over £80 a month for the pleasure
Still sending DPA and personal information to my old address

Ok so just to pre-warn everyone in advance, do no use EE for your wifi they are shocking. The wifi is so slow and ours stopped working for a month during which I called them almost every day and was spoken to very rudely. I was told I would receive proper compensation for the time I wasted and the time without broadband. I was offered £2 compensation. £2!!
So I really wouldn't waste your time by going with them, look online for some good deals first.

What a disgraceful company ee really are. After having nothing but issues ee have arranged 5 engineer visits , not once have they showed up - instead you jist sit and wait for nobody. I then moved home and yes you guessed it no boradband went live or phone line on our moving date. 3 weeks later it finally goes live. So i submit a complaint about 5 missed appointments and i wanted compensating. So my complaint is ongoing and after 7 months of lies i got a solicitor to contact them ,they suddenly spring into action, no only joking! They just lied my to solicitor, eventually i get a call offering compensation way off the value im out of pocket. Then today after being told on the phone under no terms would they stop or suspend my service whilst thu resolve there issues with me. Low and behold today my broadband account was ceased. After only speaking to ee every other day and being reassured everything is fine they goe and do this to us.. Ive never known such disgusting customer service in my life. They promise the earth but cant deliver any honestly at all. I am at my wits end with ee. Its just incompetance above and beyond.spent all day being cut off and left on hold. I achieved nothing except speaking to 11 people and getting myself so wound up with there shambolic call centre. Any help would be appreciated .
Im not a violent man but my god id love to scream in their ceo's face and give them a full feeling of they have made me feel. They thus now threaten me with contractual charges for ceasing my service which i never asked to be ceased.

Credit where credit is due, I've never had a problem with EE as phone provider. That's why I joined up with their broadband, just used their home move service and every person I spoke to was Extremely helpful can't fault then to be honest. Every issue has been dealt with quickly and professionally.
