This company is a joke, had problems with connection dropping off for quite some time now.customer services are useless and can not understand a word they are saying.Supposed to have fixed my problem and recieved a phone call to see if everything was ok when we told them no they insisted it was as they had being monitoring our connection and there is nothing wrong with it. It is still the same (useless) I get better service tethering off my phone. Not long now before I can bail out,do not even consider using this company.

No one should have to put up with internet this slow, this unreliable and this difficult to log on to. I repeatedly have to reset the router to get any sort of performance & even then it is hopeless. Customer service department is nothing short of incompetent. I seriously advise you keep away from EE broadband. The moment this dreadful contract expires I am leaving. I cannot envisage any other ISP being as shocking as EE!!!!!

Service activated on a new line in September, initially speed was good, around 3.5mbps as I am far from exchange and cannot get Fibre. Then line speed dropped to 200kbps d/s and 440bps u/s, line was faulty, then fixed, but still faulty then fixed and still faulty, eventually got the service back up between xmas 2016 and the new year, initial speed was good (3.9mbps) but now dropped to 1.14(u)/0.440(d) mbps, nothing I can do to increase speed, to compare I have another line with another provider and steady sync at almost 5mbps d/s and 1mbps u/s. EE = toataaaaal R U B B I S H. But hey. BB only costs me £1.00 so I guess it's £1 per mbps then. Looking to break my contract as I have means of comparison and service is DIRE, customer service is a little better though, I complained and was led to a Lovely lady from "Executive Customer Relations" which is trying her best to help.

I had been with Orange for years but now it is EE the broadband speed and reliability is terrible. Paying for 8 MBps and lucky if I get 0.5 MBps. The speed has been going this way for the last few months.

I'm disgusted with the service and lack of communication from EE. I would never ever pick them again for a broadband service. Speed is horrible. No more than one person can use the net. Overall utterly disgusting and inexplicably bad service. I'm appalled.

It is the worse decision I have ever made to order the EE broadband. The installation has been delayed for over two weeks and I still don't know how much longer I will have to wait. It is an extremely painful experience when each time you call their customer service. You have to wait for terribly long time to get answered and you will be transferred again and again to different departments and you have to answer those security questions again and again. At last you really want to just kill yourself to stop this pain...

I can't star any of the others as I was misold my broadband,tv,phone which by the way keep crashing. I would not have gone with them if I know what I know now they reel you in then bang bills are twice as high as they promised. I have been with them 2 months and the have had over a100 quid already a I phoned to cancel and they want nearly 400 quid of me even though they misold it to me so anyone thinking if going with them think really hard first

Why do they charge 14 days broadband after I've gone live with the new supplier? This should not be allowed - they knew about the switch over date months in advance. How can companies introduce T&C's like this without being stopped by legislation? I tried to time my exit after a 12 months deal and stayed exactly till the end of the term as I was aware of the early cancellation fee. They still managed to get money out of me by charging me for a service I didn't receive. I'll investigate further, there must be other consumers who aren't happy with EE's T&C's.

The broadband speed is the worst I've ever had, early in the morning or late at night you can get 4-8 Mb download, but at peak hours, its just imposible to make it work. They do nothing to fix it.

EE HOME BROADBAND -the worst experience I had in my whole life.i would not even give a star.
Do yourself a service and don't use this company.theri technical team is useless and customer service even worse I spent 7 days and several hours of my life trying to get the broadband fixed ,they sent down an engineer that messsed up things even more.for someone that relies on Internet for work from home this was a massive inconvenience.i had the phone put down on me many times and spoke to people that didn't know what they were doing.
Just please please learn from my experience and don't use EE!!!

Very dissatisfied with the service I am receiving. My broadband speed is 0.25mb and after complaining over 8 times by phone to their call centre, I am still waiting for something to be done, all I get it promises.

I switched to EE as I was having problem with TALK TALK. The presentation was great: good salesman, UK based call center: so we signed.
We left as EE turnt out to be worse than Talk Talk.
BROADBAND: it kept dropping out and the speed kept dropping. After 6 o clock and on weekends, we were not even able to stream movies. We had to call Tech Support each time and after going through their painful troubleshot procedure (which include checking the same things every time despite having checked already 20 times) the speed was back to normal only for a few days - then again painfully slow.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - although their customer service is UK based, when you go to TECH support the support is based in India or Pakistan. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as it is but the line was bad and there is a 2 second delay which makes talking really hard. We had to scream on the phone and sometimes was really hard to understand each other.
So...not a good experience for us :)

THE worst broadband and phone line service I have ever come across and I am now stuck with them for a year. Firstly they have completely messed up moving my landline number across like a bunch of complete amateurs and now I have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to fix it because apparently there is nothing the supervisor at their Indian call centre can do. The broadband they provide if you can call it that is the worst slowest thing I have ever seen, it literally took me 3 attempts and about 5 minutes to load this WEBPAGE! Stay away from EE if you want an actual internet connection.

After a sales call from EE I agreed to sign up for broadband for 1 year and would pay in full including line rental upfront/ first billing date.
EE sent 2 routers neither worked, they set up 2 accounts and billed me over £395. Then despite me notifying them of the issue that they were billing me again as I cancelled the 2nd contract account of which, i never authorised to be opened. Now I'm still awaiting a refund and they've since taken out more money.!! It's been going on over a month.
I can't seem to get hold of someone with authority who can send me a refund and not just a credit on the ceased account that I don't have access too. Appalling service.

Switched to ee 21 days ago, still waiting for the service.... After 7 phone calls and an average time spent on the phone to customer services being 45mins each time have been told they have to cancel my current order and place a new order that will take another 7 days. On the up side they did say they won't charge me for the last 3 weeks of service !!!!!!

Into my 3rd month of an 18mth contract. One of the original emails from EE guaranteed a min 30mb download speed...70% of the time this is OK, but I have noticed that this frequently drops as low as 5MB download rate in the evening, despite multiple resets and calls to customer service, it still continues....I would suggest that this probably breaks their own terms and conditions and I will be seeking to break free of my contract as soon as I can....£27 per month for 38mbps ADSL to fibre cabinet with unlimited data......not good enough.

There has been ongoing issues with the broadband connection that have been unresolved after months of trying. Download speed is only 0.17mb. They can’t seem to resolve the issue. I could upgrade to fibre at extra cost. That maybe the only solution the way it’s going, but I wouldn’t go through EE for that as other providers are cheaper with anytime landline and mobile calls and 38mb broadband speeds

EE seem to be going from bad to worse. I renewed my contract about 4 months ago when the internet connection was slow and they said that things would improve. Things have got worse and I'm now waiting ages for pages to load or I get connection lost messages. On the admin side they have not sent me e-mails to my revised e-mail address although this was done at the time of renewal. Okay to Bad to Worse!

Signed up as my phone is with EE.
For the first year everything was fine, not superfast, but my flatmate and I had no problems streaming tv or browsing the web.
After the first year the speed dropped dramatically.
My flatmate moved out so I am the only one using the internet.
The last speed test showed speeds of 0.07 upload and 0.07 download.
If you call they will run a basic line test and thats it.
Over the past year I have received a new router.
Engineer visits.
An EE adviser telling me that the speed has dropped because too many people are using it (not true)
In September I had 4 weeks of no internet. They offered me 5gb of data for my phone to compensate - which they ended up charging me for.....
I was with Virgin for 4 years and never had one issue.
Since I got EE it has been issue after issue/
Huge mistake changing over

I have been with EE for about 3-4 years and in that time I have never had an issue with the reliability or speed of my 500mb package. The very few times I have contacted customer support have been regarding upgrades to my deal, my call was answered promptly and delt with quickly to great satisfaction. The biggest downside to EE is the cost and whilst they are a good provider and prices for new customers aren't awful as soon as the contract expires you can expect to notice a significant increase in your monthly cost.

Since we got this broadband I have at most had 5 mb/s. My parents are paying for a plan where we should at least have 20 mb/s. A few weeks ago before the lockdown in Edinburgh, a man came to try and fix it, he was nice but did nothing to improve our wifi. And just yesterday another man came (but couldn’t come into our house because of coronavirus) and did absolutely nothing to help. In fact my internet has slowed down even more, down to 0.4 mb/s. That is terrible!!! My parents for some reason don’t want to change broadband but this is the worst internet I’ve had in my life. As good as McDonalds wifi.

Switched to EE broadband, being persuaded by a customer advisor when I renewed my mobile phone contract. On the day of the switch my landline was disconnected for a day. Broadband, which was working well before, is still disconnected four days later. I spent hours on the phone to the "helpline". Plenty of broken promises and no prospect of it being fixed for *at least* another two days. I wouldn't switch to EE now, even if the "service" was free.

Please don't sign up with EE they are just coning people, I singed the contract in December and they said on 23/01/2015 they will come and fixed the broadband and they saying make sure someone will be in and age over 18. I took day off from work to wait for them to come and fix the broadband from 08:00 am to 13:00 no one show to the door then they send me a text and E-mail they saying Hello your EE broadband is now up and running thanks and enjoy. No way will be running with out they put on first. no one came to the door.then when you phoned them you have to stay on the phone for 1hour and 9 min then hang up. WHEN THE SALEING TO YOU THEY SAYING THEY ARE THE BEST BROADBAND PROWIDER AND CHEAP £1.95 A MONTH BUT THEY DONT TELL YOU ALL THE CRAP THEY HAIDING.

I wish I had checked all reviews before choosing EE. The worst broadband ever!! We have been without internet for 4 weeks. 2 new routers were send but never worked. EE always blames something else. They blamed BT line. Two guys from BT came in in two weeks.. but is nothing to do with the BT line. EE can't solve the problem. They started to ignore my calls. Always promises to call me back but never does. Or they just leave you a voicemail that they couldnt contact you due to my bad reception!!! We're is the good attitude to customers???? Terrible service.

I have been with EE for one month, coming from their parent company of BT. I was under the impression that the type of service would be exactly the same because BT own EE but in my time I have, had nothing but issues. EE are a complete tripe of an internet provider. The connection is so terribly slow, it's almost like you've travelled back to the bad old days on 64k dial up. Of course that's assuming you can get connected in the first place and there isn't a DNS error; which nine times out of ten there will be.
Imagine spending an hour trying to check your email. Very frustrating and that's EE in a nut shell. Everything is frustrating. Their customer helpline is anything but, their staff are ill equip and, I suspect, poorly trained to deal with any serious issue more complex than "have you tried turning the modem off and on again?" Or my personal favourite "have you connected to the right network?" Their staff are also quite partial at lying, telling the customer what they would like to hear just to pacify them. Expect empty promises of "our technician will sort the issue" to "we will credit your account the value of X as a form of compensation" something which according to the guys in the EE store, the technicians aren't allowed to make.
In the space of a month, we've had 2 replacement modems and a wireless network extender from EE in an attempt to sort this but you can only polish something so much before you realise it's a....well you get the jist. The best piece of advice I can give you is to simply stay away. I'll be getting out of this contract ASAP.
