I've been with several providers over the years, ntl, then virgin, BT, etc. I've been with nowtv broadband for a year. I don't understand other people's issues, I had no problem contacting customer services in the first week, and an engineer was sent out in 3 days, who found my issue was wiring in my house, and fixed it free. The price is excellent, I've no issue connecting 8 devices to WiFi all over the house, and speed is as promised. Yes, twice over a year the signal dropped out, but both times it restarted within a few hours, and this happens with all providers from time to time. I'm most happy.

I have been with now broadband for nearly a year, and as my contract was coming to an end,and they were increasing my price from £25 to£40 decided to leave.
I sent them a separate email(no reply) and took the appropriate action 10 working days before the end, I changed to Plusnet, and as expected, everything turned up on time, internet speeds were faster, and the Router was much better spec.
So far so good, until I checked my online banking, only to find a pending charge for £40-97 on my app.
I contacted Resolve, and raised the complaint, which went through and NOW TV replied with apologies, said it was an error, and they would monitor it and get a credit through! That was the 6th July,,I looked at my statement again on the 8th July, and sure enough the £40-97 had been taken out???????
As it is taken off your debit card, not a direct debit, you cannot stop it with any ease,so despite a further two complaints through resolve I still have had no correspondence or refund!
Do NOT use this company(Sky owned)
Their speeds are erratic, their service to customers is to be polite rubbish, and as far as I am aware, the only broadband provider to take it from your debit card rather than DD as all others I have ever dealt with.

Have been with NOW broadband for over a year now and haven’t had any problems at all. Decent speed, decent price and reliable. Would recommend.

I'm coming to the end of 18 month contract and can't wait to leave. My main gripe is the pathetic wifi signal and lack of ports with the router. Also fed up with Internet dropping out. I don't bother calling about it because customer service leave a lot to be desired and it eventually comes back. I could live with that but not the rubbish router. Bradband speed OK most of the time.

I have real problems with getting any kind of advertised speed for my Broadband; but now I now have 30+GHz after changing some router options.
The promised speed is 36Mbps and I was getting around 1.9Mbps to my laptop. I spoke to NowTV support and they got a BT engineer out to check the speed for me within 4 days (I called on Friday, he was here Monday). The BT guys check the speed going to the router, and it was 36Mbps as advertised, but the speed quickly dropped off the further I was away from the router... literally in the spare bedroom, around 15 meters, the speed went down to 1.9Mbps. So.... I tried moving the router, that didnn't help much; I tried moving my Laptop, I got around 5-6Mbps now that they are around 5 meters closer. This is obviously really bad for working from home, so I started to investigate the WIFI settings on the router (don't do this if you don't know what your doing...); and I now have 34-35 Mbps after disabling the 2.4GHz connection and only using the 5Ghz connection.
So my conclusion is that the Routers the NowTV use are a bit s**t as they don't handshake to the higher GHz by default; but to the 2.4GHz.
FYI I changed the following options on the router... I take no responsibility if your break anything. Do at your own risk....
In a browser, goto the http://192.168.0.1
The username defaults to admin
The password defaults to nowtv
Goto the Wireless
Goto 2.4 GHz wireless settings
Unchecked...
Enable Wireless Access Point
Enable WPS
Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID)
Synchronise 2.4GHz and 5GHz Settings
MAKE SURE YOU UNCHECK Synchronise 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Settings. If you don't you might end up not being able to connect to your router.
Hit the Apply button. The router will restart the connection, and you can now do a speed test. You may have to check that any old devices can still connect; as not everything will be able to connect using 5Ghz.

I was promised a minimum speed that has not been delivered and is looking more and more like it never will be, even though my last ISP managed to do so.
They changed my phone number without telling me and without my consent even after promising me it would not change. Incorrectly billed me and the list goes on. The only good points so far is their customer service is pretty quick and they do try to be helpful. Also the reliability is quite good.

I’m paying £30 per month for super fast broadband, yet I’m writing this review on my phone using 4G because I have no broadband signal. Yet again. I am heartily sick of paying out for a ‘service’ which fluctuates between unreliable and non-existent.

Avoid these idiots at all costs. Don't do direct debit so you pay by card and they keep taking extra payments. Contacting customer service is a joke.
