    Just deeply unreliable. The nature and pattern of outages points the finger squarely at TT infrastructure. Better via a VPN. Top tip: Try Zen instead, more expensive but then so is not getting what you paid for.

    They are a waste of space they all talk off a script ask a question and they can’t answer it and I have trouble understanding them and them me go round in circles and achieve nothing. Move on ASAP

    The worst service provider with the worst customer service, none of my complaints were dealt with satisfactorily. Not once did I receive the promised refund for having NO Broadband or No phone service ( continually ) yet a full year after cancelling my contract I still receive monthly bills. Talk Talk ??? I think not !!! You will definitely NOT Talk Talk.

    Bad speed and internet dropping down few times a day.Fair customer service assuming they have a office in india as custimer service advisors have poor english.Price for internet and landline increased from £25 to £41 monthly.

    i have been with talk talk for 2 years now. iv never had so many issues in my life. they have tried billing me for several months even though my services havent been on, everytime i call them i get put on hold for at least 25 mins a time, 3 engineers have been out and still havent resolved the issue, i am fed up with the service. i wouldnt reccommend anybody to use talk talk ever again

    Absolutely shocking 15 months of ringing them up every few weeks speed dropping to 0.23 mbps and they say that is fine for £30 a month get passed from pillow to post been on phone over 2 hours sometimes still no luck. Phoned on time was on over an hour an woman giggled down phone and hung up bad customer service. Internet was 0.43 at best for last 3 months I've just phoned said I'm entitled to £14 back for poor broadband even thou they have took £90 in last 3 months I would honestly avoid joining talk talk worst decision ever made 15 months of hell must of been on phone over 60 hours in total trying to sort it still not done ive putno stars cause it is that bad

    Due to a report from an Openreach technician who had to replace an external cable, I asked talktalk to investigate an error with their ADSL equipment at the exchange. They sent a brightspark engineer who did nothing except call his office who cleared my line. It increased my speed from 2M to 5M. I got charged £50.
    Today again reported slow speed which was tested and cleared up to 6M Still have to pay the £50 even though the problem was not resolved. Waste of time talking to their Customer Relations team, they just repeat a mantra from a script. PAY. Am researching alternatives

    Absolute rubbish,cancelled my contract,major phone and broadband problems,intent and WiFi keeps crashing,customer service is diabolica never again ,0 stars from me,still waiting for them to call me back.please don't bother you'll be so disappointed and its not easy to get out of the contract,I've had to wait till it expired.

    I have the record for one of my problems 30 hours on the phone,it was actually more,, i now have tinitus, after 20 years i know all the sly moves, everyone knows about them, some have left and had to pay massive bills to get rid of the nightmare, they are all liars, and TalkTalk had to pay 200 Million for plundered accounts, they were fined a pittance of 4 million, so your account is in poverty stricken Countries, the indian call center seems to be gone now, all these call centers have had to pay back millions, they keep it under cover, i leave very little in my bank account, your money is safer under your matress, beware of all foreign call centers, you can knock on the companies door here, bot not thousands of miles away, watch BT, they will sign you up with a posh English voice, then when you want help, lol, yes you guessed it, if your the nervous type stay away, you may end up in a Mental Hospital, you might find that changing your mind on joining will cost you, leaving can be expensive, you never warned them and never gave your 30 days notice, or, there is a charge for a paper bill, the list is endless, NEVER JOIN THIS COMPANY.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

    For over two months I have been complaining to talktalk about slow and unreliable broadband. Eventually sent me a new router. Now (when internet is working) download speed max's out at 1.8 mbps and upload runs at 0.8 mbps. No signs of receiving better service so a switch is on the cards for 2022. Any reccomendations gratefully received. I now report state of play 31/12/21.:- It is now three months since I have received even a near sattisfactory internet service from talk-talk. I have been given a new router which offers equally as poor results as the old one. The help and assistance offered by the talk-talk services has proved to be of no help whatsoever and one of the operatives even had the audacity to offer me a derisory £5.00 to compensate me for the inconvenience. My Christmas chats with my grandchildren who live abroad has had to be done on my mobile and my New Year chats will have to done likewise. Speed tests are still running at 1.8 mbps download and 0.7-8 upload. My son switched me from SKY to talk-talk for the same I'm having now and advises that I change again but he is not living locally now, hence I am still paying for a "SUB-STANDARD" talk-talk service. PLEASE! Can anyone advise?

    Absolutely disgusting the way they treat people, contacted as I had to move house and they did not manage in 3 weeks to activate the internet, several calls but I only got back “we are investigating the problem”, in the end I decided to cancel, after a month (in the meantime found another provider) I reveived a bill from them like nothing happened and I have to pay the monthly bill, called again to remind them the situation and said that my cancellation been rejected?! And I have to contact them back in 3 days and they will cancel it which this makes no sense.
    Effectively a waste of time and money, no one deserves such mockery. we are people and we work and pay to benefit from some services, not to pay nonsense and make endless calls.

    Worse broadband ever, compete fraud, i was paying more 35 pound for nothing, the download speed I was promised was up to 80 MP i was getting 5 MP, that how bad, you call them, and all they say stay online please doing some checks for hours, then to improve for 2 hours and back same awful service again, Please if you have brain do not ever join them.

    What a shocking and disgusting outfit Talk talk is , Shocking internet speed , 0.42 download speed, 0.38 upload speed,
    3 phone calls to customer services over the last 2 months , 4.5 hours in total, bounced about to different departments, Over charged and money taken from my account , without notifying me. Etc etc .
    KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS BAG OF RUBBISH ,,,

    If I could give this bunch nil stars I'd be doing just that..what a dreadful excuse for a service. In fact they aren't even providing the most basic of services.
    We were in between house moves and we're moving to my daughters for a few months so asked them to close the line to our previous address but we'd continue to pay them and they could reinstall at our new address as our daughter already had talk talk.
    Oh you can't do that I was told you're breaking your contract that will cost you £170!
    No amount of repeating myself was of any use so I very reluctantly agreed to let them install another line at my daughters to avoid the so called charge.unbeknown to me they'd roped us into another 18 month contract,which I'm sure is quite illegal.
    Eventually the engineer arrived and put the line in.
    My daughter decided to end her contract as it had run its course and lo and behold the day hers went off so did ours!
    What followed was endless calls.two engineers and three micro filters,none of which were any good.
    Each call I made I had to repeat the story which was getting bigger by the minute and go through a test on the line.
    No one in that setup knows what the next person is doing,the incompetency is astounding to say the least.The frustration involved is horrendous because each call I made I knew nothing was going to improve.
    Needless to say this went on for two full months until we left for our new home.
    We had no service and my daughter was left with none either.
    When we arrived we rang them and would you believe it...sorry we can't provide you with a service.
    Now we are receiving paper bills at £2 each which I also told them I didn't want and a bill for the months we weren't able to use the so called service.
    All I can say is...if you are even giving this lot of crooks a seconds thought,then stop....DO NOT...under any circumstances waste your hard earned cash on this.Apart from the absolutely pathetic customer service from ill trained staff the Internet they provide dips and dives and you don't get what your paying for..
    This is only a condensed version of events as I'd be writing for a week if I told the whole story in detail.....Have we received any compensation???? NO...keep getting voicemails...to call them back...another get out clause on their part.They know damn fine no one wants to talk to them .Any other company would refund to your account but not this lot.

    Talk talk is the most horrible nasty company I have ever sealed with supposed to have broadband in last week still waiting phoned today to cancel has I have 30 days cooling off period they told me I have to pay 30 days not a chance then said I had a hearing problem (which I don’t ) was spoken to like rubbish keep away

    Stay away. My net has been down for 6 days and everyday on the phone they tell me it will be fixed today. The customer service is total half-assed clowns. Needless to say my custom is going elsewhere. Good riddance.

    The worst provider I have ever seen not for my family or friends even I don't wish this provides for my enemies. The customer services I don't have words they're terrible .I cancelled my contract three months ago after my contract is ended but they they keep sending me bills every month I have already new from the reviews so I cancelled my direct debit .I have contacted them 9 times trust me more than 7 hours talking in totall all together every customer service gives different answer
    they keep telling me I'm receiving bills by mistake and after 2 months another customer service tells me still my account is active I I'm really shooked banch of frauds still i'm receiving bills .what should I do go to lowyer or solicitor I'm too tired .

    Absolutely Disgusting! I phoned up to explain I needed an extension on my bill of £22.15, as I haven’t been paid yet. To which I was put on hold countless amount of times, had one advisor hang up on me, and the manager/supervisor told me they can’t lift the bar until payment has been made. I explained I have a daughter at home who now can’t do her online learning due to Covid. I really didn’t think £22.15 would be that much of an issue for a week. AVOID!! they do not want to help you in any way, shape, or form. Needless to say direct debit has been cancelled and I will be phoning for a new provider.

    To be honest I wish there was a way to give 0 or minus ratings. Talktalk have to be the WORST internet provider I have ever dealt with. Absolutely no regard at all for their customers, as long as they are getting a bill thats it. Continuous problems with the internet speeds, it crashes daily, customer service levels of a dead donkey. I strongly recommend against this company as a provider. We may as well be on dial up connection at least we would get the speeds we were promised and it would most likely be faster

    Overall service is rubbish didn't turn up to do the work first time appointment was made lost days pay now today the same thing has happened suppose to be here between 8 n 1 ..after calling between 1 n 4 and again no one came .. shame on you talk talk

    What a bunch of cowboys. Should have gone live 9/12/22. Nope didn’t happen. Phoned everyday, to be told would be up and running by 9pm. Nope. On 20 December am engineer finally sent, fault on line but, he couldn’t connect me because he couldn’t carry out his checks. I have complained and requested callbacks, no contact until 21 December to be told I will have to pay £181 cancellation fee and £34 for the service I haven’t received since 9 December. Do not give them the time of day absolutely awful way to terest people very upset and angry at the lack of service, customer service or support

    Gave 1 star as not possible to give 0. If I am lucky enough to get a broadband connection it is incredibly slow, almost as slow as the Youview box! Took 6 different engineers to complete the installation as a lack of communication within Talk Talk meant they either brought incorrect or faulty equipment. I'm on my 3rd Youview box in 8 months and even this one keeps freezing and needs resetting. Customer Service is appalling, the call centres are abroad so there is a clear language barrier so even if you get one of the few who know how to help they often misunderstand and fail to resolve the faults. Currently experiencing a network outage, this has been a daily occurance for at least the last 2 weeks. Told to ring back in 3 hours to see if they can help then. Told it is a one off, eventhough i've been reporting the same fault as recently as yesterday. They can't even advise if it will be reflected in my bill as they can't look in to if until at least 3 hours from now. So as far as I know I am paying to not receive broadband or subscription channels. Ridiculous "company" if you can call it one.

    I placed a home move order at the end of November for the 19th December 2022 (more than 3 weeks notice) and still don't have internet access now (10/1/2023).
    My partner and I both work from home and we have had to use our phones over this period, costing us quite a bit of money.
    I have called at least 5 times and been passed around teams and have no resolution for my order. They first told me 5-7 days, so I would have internet access at the end of December, this would have been ok but it didn't happen due to no reason. I was then told the start of January, still no internet. Then I was told 24-48 hours and guess what, still no internet. I was then told 5-7 days (again) and still no internet.
    I have just been on the phone with them for over an hour and a half and what they have told me is that there was a system error and they need to cancel the order to then place a new one. Why wasn't this the resolution the first time I called?
    They are beyond useless and have cost me a fair bit of money. Their customer service is useless as I have had to call many times to get close to an answer.
    I have never left a review for anything before, but I had to leave this just so people avoid these idiots.

    My god rung talk talk t cancel now that I'm over contract date knowing it would b free t leave . to b told contract has bn renewed and the charge of £200 . I rung them up coz bn paying double f a long time . they've never sent a bill ever . o ly found out on bank statement . I said iv had enough and I'm cancelling d,d they said if I do that they will past it o. T debt collector's . wat t do . paying 3 tyms more than other companies .

    I log every call made with Talk Talk so that I can refer back to the call detailing the day, time and duration. To date I have spent over 40hrs talking to their customer services to resolve issues. To be fair they are dealing with Open reach but they do not listen, I am struggling to be reimbursed, not compensated as they put it for services I am not receiving. They are always talking over you and do NOT listen to the information you are giving them. This morning I have had to contact them again as I have just had me line reconnected after 3weeks and it still does not work correctly. They are treating this as a new case !!!!!!!

    I was originally with Tiscali which I had no problems with. I got taken over by TalkTalk. I had an issue with a charge and struggled to even find a number. They refused to refund a wrong charge and when I asked for it in writing I was told that they were recoding the conversation and didn't need to. I was told that they could resend the bill, but I would be charged. I am leaving them!!

    wished we had never gone with this company, we recently joined talk talk when we moved home for our broadbrand and telephone services. They arranged a date for us to go live, promised us a quick date but then said that date had already been taken so had to wait another week. the package we signed up for was fast fibre , but then we was only receiving 1 mb, so called again after waiting half hour on the phone, when we finally got through they said they would send an engineer, they gave us a day and time but the engineer never arrived, so called again and was spoken to in the rudest manner by a lady who then hung up! I run my own business and wouldn't dream any of my staff speaking to anyone like this. its not acceptable. poor service , poor communication. I would advise anyone to avoid this company and think twice before dealing with them.

    Talk Talk have dropped my connection speed from rubbish to almost non-existent since they learned that I'm switching to a new provider next week.
    No surprise really because the only time I have had a half decent service from them during my time with TT is during the couple of weeks after phoning them and threatening to switch.
    Absolutely awful company. slow speed, constant drop-out, poor customer service from Indian call centre, they lost my details and left me vulnerable to scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    One star is too much. I have just spent 1.5 hour on the phone with them. they passed me around like dirty shoe. The problem i have is that my wifi signal works only when i am sitting next to modem no further then one meter. I only asked for new modem so I can get signal around the house. They said i must extend my contract for 18 month otherwise i will not get one. I said i am not assigning with them for so log after such experience. they are not willing to help so basically i am paying for internet which does not work. PLEASE DONT DO THE SAME MISTAKE AND DO NOT USE TALK TALK if you dont have to. Also when you call them, the connection is very bad so you do understand every second word.

    What a total waste of time, I informed talk talk my Mom had gone into 24/7 care in January and the service was no longer required and asked them to cancel. They informed me my Mom would have to ring (she is deaf by the way) however she did so and answered the security questions. On checking I find talk talk have taken a further 3 direct debit payments from her account. On ringing they tell me her phone call was cut off and the account was still in place and they cannot cancel without talking to her. She is quite ill now. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY HAVE NO CONSIDERATION WHATSOVER, THEY SUCK

    Absolutely shocking! I wish I could rate 0 stars because they're abysmal. Me and my partner signed up for talk talk with our first house. We recieved our router and an email saying we were live so my partner set up the wifi - no connection. We attempted to contact them and the only response we were given was that there were technical issues in our area- no "we will sort this out for you' or 'this will be resolved by...' so we decided to cancel our package WITHIN OUR COOLING OFF PERIOD. Yet they are demanding money for a bill from us when we recieved no wifi, our tv packages are not set up, we cancelled in our cooling off period and the customer service was tragic! Absolutely disgusting! Would not recommend. Money will be better spent elsewhere.

    Talk talk are dishonest . If you have a complaint don't deal with it verbally they deny what they have agreed and try to take money you do not owe. If you speak to someone on chat . Save the conversation as otherwise they deny that it has taken place. Do not trust them. They change your contract without telling you so you incur charges that were free and then they are not with no notice. I would not recommend them to anyone

    My issue is with webmail only as talktalk do not operate on the Isle of Man. Cannot access webmail since 24th March. Urgently require access. Been given so many reasons and no change. I want to access it transfer all information to a non talktalk email address . This company is so bad !

    At first all seemed ok for 6 months,then speed slowed down so much not able to use laptop or phone on wifi at same time.have had 2 engineers out new modem new master sockets and wifi booster sent and still no better.the staff on chat go through the same messages every time and not very helpful. called up to cancel and I still have to pay cancel my contract even though its been on going for over a month. even had the cheek to say let us try and fix the problem within 30 days to leave contract free of charge. what makes them think they can fix the problem? now when not before. Do not use this company. I am now going to try bt or use a wifi hub from 3 gotta be better can not be any worse than these cowboys.
