    I have fallen for it again.I said I would never use TT again but when fibre broadband came to my area I thought it would all be straight forward,how wrong was I. My date for going live was January 18th.Since then my internet buffers out.Pages take forever to load up.My boys keep asking me when they can go on there online gaming.I have phoned customer services dozens of times and they kept telling me to reboot my router and the problem was on my end.Two Openreach engineers visits later confirmed it is a cable needs replacing outside.Every time I phone up for an update they just lie and tell me that someone will call me later.Even though they text me on 3 occasions nobody has ever got back to me.Everyone you phone tells you they are a manager.They have now told me it will be fixed by February 22nd which makes it over a month from going live.I have been getting phone calls nearly every day from fake callers with Indian people trying to get me on a computer to rip me off.I contacted TT and they gave me a code to block last caller.Still the calls keep coming so I phoned TT again and they apologised again saying that they seem to have found a way round it.I said I am not suprise as I have just read that 2 MORE people have been arrested a your call centre in INDIA.I said it is obvious that you cannot keep your customers details safe and as for my line been all sorted out I am not holding my breath. So all I can say is PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE! don't be fooled by their gimmicks I have been.It's true what they say "all that glitters is not gold".

    I really can’t give them any stars - they are the epitome of a pathetic excuse for a broadband provider. Customer service is a waste of time and their Superfast fibre broadband is at best useless. Try advertise up-to 79 Mbps and yet we consistently get at best dial up speed. The worst internet provider ever in the history of broadband providers. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!

    Awful. Was told that if an engineer came out and they couldn't fix the problem then I wouldn't have to pay any cancellation fee. An engineer came, couldn't fix it, and Talktalk continued to take the money out of my account regardless. Have complained multiple times and they are refusing to refund me, so will be taking legal action! I advise people to stay well clear of this company!

    Talk talk are the worst company I've ever tried to use. 3 days of calls and still I can't even get a reason as to why there is a problem with my order for a new line. None of the staff are trained nor can they speak/understand the English language at all. Forgive me for saying but if you work for a call centre with customers based in the UK basic communication skills are a must! I have been told 5 different things by untrained staff one of which told me everything was fine and I would be connected on the 15th of June. I had to tell him there was a problem with the order to which his reply was to put me on hold for another 10 mins just to let mr know what I'd already been told earlier that day! what an absolute joke the company is they should be ashamed at the poor level of customer service that portrays who they are. it's disgraceful. you now could not pay me to take up Internet with them as all I can see the future holds is frustration and a huge headache god forbid anything were ever to go wrong with my service I'd be stuck with no internet forever by the looks of things! Sorry about the rant but I have wasted hours of my life calling this awful company I felt I needed to share my experience. I never write reviews but I need to share this with others so they don't waste their life like I just have!!!

    Talk talk is most rubbish in the world my speed didn't even reach 1 mbp it was always rubbish I contacted them many times but they never fixed anything every time I contacted the there managers told me I would fix the issue but they never did . broadband is the most rubbish special at s5 when I first made contract with them they told me speed would be 5 mpb or higher but it never was

    awful service, I waited in for 11 days for an engineer who eventually came out and informed me the fault was outside, so I lost work, then for 6 months dealt with constant problems with the router restarting every 20 mins (not kidding) even after 2 replacements and my youview box always loosing my package channels. Sky offered to buy out my contract and I took it.

    I have never stressed up with anything I have been promised and paying for like talk talk.Since started with them it's problem after problem and no solution and am getting frustrated by their service.Since moving house getting into 2 months without TV and Internet not working. I wish if I had checked on the reviews before I accepted their false offers.I call almost everyday for 2 hours on the phone and nothing has been done.Their box cannot make sense out of it and has not been able to watch anything coz no Internet connection or the other thing. Can someone help to get out of this fed up for really.Today from work came and only to be told mum no Internet no TV working that was 17:15 , called talk talk and almost 2 hours on the phone nothing going tangible solved.

    One of the worst experiences ever. Talktalk is horrendous is deal with. The set up arrived on time but the ultra fast broadband I booked in unfortunately wasn't able to reach its full capacity due to our area. We were advised to contact talktalk to downgrade our broadband. No help from customer service and without warning, they just cancelled our broadband. We endured another 10 calls over the next few days try and get it all up and running again and it couldn't be switched back on. Every person we dealt with in customer service was equally unhelpful and no one had a clue what was going on as there's no communication their end or notes on the account. I regret ever dealing with talktalk and hope I never have to deal with the company again. Not worth the time.

    Don’t trust this business, just lose your money time and give you big headache. for first installation they send an “engineer” to check if you just connect the wires, that’s it. And you have no service until next engineer to attend in few weeks, then you will probably have service “if you are really lucky” on top of that “the engineer “ is not showing. Imagine minimum 3 times stayed at home waiting not working not earning money, paying for car prak...in total you lose 3 times of what you pay them in a year contact! Don’t risk it. You are the biggest loser

    NO STARS!! The worst broadband company! Dont use this company or you will pay for no service. What a shamble company.
    Why UK Trade Standards do nothing about it. Only 3 months since contract started but had no one full week of internet. Connection dropping daily. Had 3 visits of BT Openreach Engineers to sort the problem out. But nothing is working. Will cancel my contract as no service provided as per agreed contract. I will not pay fees for early exit even they threat me with it. Good luck to recover any payment from me. I will proceed with the Legal Action.

    Talk talk is the worst internet ever provided. I should get 10mb/s but instead I get 1mb/s I constantly drops out and has lost me many competitive counterstrike games, I don't even feel comfortable playing counterstrike anymore with this internet. If you ever have a complaint you just spend hours waiting for someone on the other end of the phone just to tell you there is nothing they can do, Switching to BT Fibre in 2 days, Burn in hell talk talk.

    I am very unhappy customer,which tried get full pack from Talk-talk.After2 weeks,I get text my broadband it`s ready to use,but I didn`t had connections in my house,when I called them,answer was everythink it`s fine is working,withnout phone line :-),they send it to me signal,after 1 mounth I get bill for 46£ for they service,which I never had and Week ago I get email for next bill and I am not they customer any more.RUBBISH

    Talktalk assured me that they would switch so My partner wouldn’t pay anything after the switch date. They failed to do the switch and the other provider took money out of her account the following month.

    I’ve spent hours of my time trying to get her money back and and have waited 2 months so far and it still isn’t resolved.

    They have sent me around in circles, making it as difficult as possible clearly in the hope that I will give up.

    This has to be the worst customer service that I have ever experienced.

    I will never go with Talktalk again.

    Just don’t put yourself through it.

    Must have taken 5-10mins just to get one of their employees to get my postcode right!

    Talk Talk are a con. When shopping in Wigan City Center, i was approached by some promotional sale reps from talk talk about their current offers. They offered me a great deal a free engineer installation. They messed my order up twice in a row and then charged me £65.00 for missing an appointment that apparently never went through in the first place and refused point lank to reimburse me. Disgusting. i would never use talk talk if they paid me to. Robbers.

    If a minus 5 start rating were available it would be too good for Talk Talk. My dealings with them over the past few months have been the most frustrating, stressful I have ever had. I have spent two an a half hours on the phone to their unprofessional, rude, customer service staff trying to get a MAC code. I recently wrote to their CEO at their Southampton headquarters and the response I got from a Carrie McGhie are a perfect example of everything that is wrong with this company. After detailing my complaint and supplying with them documented evidence of my three hours spent on the phone to them, they take no responsibility for any of their mistakes and say they will 'continue to look into it'. They even had the audacity to end their letter with details of how I could pay the remaining £17 on my account even though this was charged to my account after I had asked them to close it. I don't know how this company are allowed to continue to do business and provide such poor customer service over and over again. DO NOT USE TALK TALK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO HAVE TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME DEALING WITH SUCH A POOR COMPANY.

    The worst ever broadband and customer service i had. Where do i start, slow broadband, fake engineering charges £50 on the my bill, bad customer service, every call for customer service at least 2 hours waiting on phone, the engineer ever came for booked appointment time etc. My broadband didnt work but i had to pay the bill. Three time they tried to over charge me instead of £30, They sent me bill of £74. Robbing.
    It is night mare Pls don't make mistake that i made. It is waste experience i never ever had before.

    Appalling service. Customer service is disgusting, awful. Go live date changes several times, 3 weeks it took them even then it didn't go live fully. Rang several times and they all said the same thing yes we will cancel it within 24hrs which they still had not done after the 5th time of making contact. I wouldn't recommend to anyone at all ever!

    The worst service and customer service ever, I highly recommend that nobody ever use this company. 1 hour wait to speak to customer service every time. Had to cancel my contract, was promised 15mbps speed and got under 1mbps. After cancelling a get a hefty bill with a contract breakage fee, after it was there fault that I had to cancel. The manager says "because you didn't give us the 28 days to fix the problem you have to pay the fees".... Did your staff inform of this NO. Never again

    The customer service is absolutely unhelpful, i have been kept on the line for almost an hour. Fist I have been told it is not my account, then the person suppose to sent me an email but never received it. I kept asking what is the problem, why is it taking so long, company has my email address as I get the bill every month, no answer..Could not log in into my account even when I wanted to reset the password the website showed an error on several occasions and even though i mention that to Daniel (the person who suppose to help me), suggested him to get some help as well. I have been completely ignored and told to check other browser and call back tomorrow.. absolute rubbish.

    Complete waste of time and money. I wouldn't touch Talktalk with a ten foot barge pole and advise anyone thinking of taking up their "service" to think again. I've had nothing but trouble from every department I've contacted. Endied up terminating my contract.

    Talk talk took my account from all with no consultation, communication to me. Was then moved to flur again no consultation or communication except stating when my payments due, rang to cancel, flur was amenable after long argument and threat to trading standards, talk talk still ongoing... Could not give reason for why lack in communication, and passing on my details, including bank details without my permission....supposedly closed my account .... Had another bill today... Strange I can't get through to them!,,,, think trading standards or rouge traders need a call?.......

    Decided to switch to a TalkTalk broadband package to save money. No one came to install it. Was left without internet for a week, so I cancelled and returned to my old provider (Virgin) who got me back up and running in 48 hours.

    I was assured on 3 different occasions by TalkTalk that my broadband was cancelled. Yet they keep trying to book more engineer visits, emailing me to tell me that "something is wrong", and sending me bills for a non existent service.

    Their customer service is abysmal. Don't be tempted by the cheap prices and stay away!

    signed up febuary live 21/02 only phone no internet as too slow to get on mobile phone , Tech manager phoned 24/03 to do line test managed to get me to disconnect to bare wires hanging from wall said they'd get engineer out to reconnect inbetween foreign swear words and saying i was blind as well as f****** deaf (i wear hearing aids) stated would not be charged while disconnected ,Despite lots of call on mobile virgin and chat using all my allowance on mobile hotspot up over 2 nights in june plus at other times as well . Finally managed to get a complaint in progress in September i have no hair now, so upgraded my mobile hotspot to 40gb a month with three .Did bank account check shock horror i had had 142.50 stolen from my oap pension by yes talktalk stopped DD, that was basis of complaint plus no service . So engineer came reconnected and didn't like what i said about doing line test with screwdriver as per instruction from talktalk . Anyway got line back on and broadband at last but only 0.11 download and zero upload on the 13/11 they offered me a refund of 34.73 to be taken off outstanding charges of over £70 which included late payment charges for late payment on charges whilst not connected .cost over £150 to get rid of them and that was with cancelling with no penalties . It was worth it as at nearly 70 years old i didn't want anymore stress xmas now cancelled till march as still paying off overdraft caused by them taking money from bank account . Maybe dry toast dipped in tea for xmas dinner but i am well rid of talktalk.

    Lies, lies, lies....

    Upsold us to a package on standard broadband saying we would need a new dvr box, when I told them I already had one. Was told the old one wouldn't work. LIES!

    Complained to them. I was told they could not take the new box back and reduce my monthly payments. Instead, they gave me Sky channels at half price.

    Complained about the poor broadband and WiFi. They sent me a new router as they discovered theirs was faulty. Then they tried to upsell me to fiber. All I wanted was the service we were paying for.

    Complained on numerous occasions about the mind-bogglingly poor bandwidth and awful WiFi connectivity. All TalkTalk would ever do is try to upsell me to fiber.

    Moved to a new provider, and now TalkTalk are charging me DOUBLE as a final bill. Apparently the disconnection changeover is two days after their billing period so the only thing they will do is refund me the 29 days of unused time on the NEXT billing period. So essentially stealing my money for the next month. If I (or they) stop my direct debit, I'll get a black mark on my credit score. Told by a manager that she can't do anything about it. What a load of drivel.

    If I was to upgrade to a new fiber package, they could sort everything instantly. But they can't stop themselves taking money they're not entitled to.

    Absolutely terrible, the wifi worked for about a month, then poof starts cutting out every hour, I'm not even joking, one second talking to a friend, next I'm sitting here with no wifi, definitely not the device since it's brand new and been working fine before talktalk, in a nutshell, its the worst provider ive seen in a while.

    Very slow broadband. Shocking customer service. Promised me a fixed price every month and guess what? My bill went higher and higher every month. Lost count how many hours i spent on the phone on hold or trying to understand them. Wouldn't go back if it were free. I'm now with sky and very happy.

    The internet in general in the uk is so so awful. I have been with this company around one year and 7 months, I never get a good internet, is the worst internet ever. I can not even open video in 360p in youtube. it's so Horrible. I do not recommend anyone to join with this company.

    If I could I give 0 stars.is the worst service what I use I'm my life..I was change my broadband for faster and last Friday needed be active ,But do you know what's happened?My internet was down until today baysicle 4 days at the moment without internet.And no one coming for fix the problem.

    I have suffered TalkTalk as my IP provider for 20 years to
    keep my email address. On 7/6/19 I renewed my contract by
    phone when I was promised the contract document by mail.

    I'm still waiting 4 months later

    I received the new 4 port DSL3782 router but on connecting
    find it doesn't provide an IP number to my networked printer.
    Before each computer session I have to fiddle with the
    router/printer to get it an IP number so I can print.


    The new router can be slow in returning search results.
    F'instance googling "supreme court" or "nuclear science"
    took 60 seconds each time to return results. Others have
    complained in forums of the same problem with the DSL3782
    router so I reverted to my old DSL3780 router which works OK.

    My email domain, which has worked for years, is tiscali.co.uk
    but on contract renewal TalkTalk sent me a letter stating
    "we can't reach your email address" and giving my mail domain
    as hotmail.co.uk. This stated I should update my email addy
    otherwise they'd send bills by post at £2 each. I received my
    first bill yesterday - for Sept.

    I tried to log into TalkTalk's "My Account" but the page was
    either blank or could not be reached from TalkTalk's homepage
    which was grayed out. (eventually fixed by clearing cookies and
    everythingh else with CCleaner). Now I can reach the "MyAccount"
    page but can't log in with the ficticious hotmail
    or the tiscali
    domain which are not recognised. I'm rung support 3 times but
    they state they can't change the registered mail domain. 1st tier
    support work from scripts and it's pot luck whether you get someone
    experienced or completely useless.

    So I'm scr&wed. I can't log in to MyAccount and I'm stuck with
    intermittent monthly bills at £2 each.

    I suspect my problems are something to do with TalkTalk deprecating
    the tiscali domain and tightening security as a result of being hacked.

    I have 12 months left on my contract but I'll leave TalkTalk as soon as
    I find a better provider. I'll write stating they've breached the terms
    of the contract (that I did not receive) and that I've stopped the DD.


    My recommendation - DO NOT USE TALKTALK.

    keep having touble with phone and broadband. broadband connection keeps going off and then have trouble getting it back on, it is only running at half the speed or less.

    Whatever you do don't sign up for Talk Talk. I cannot stress this enough. I tried to change ownership of my account as i was moving flats and they made me resubmit the form via post a total of 4 times. The first time was because my info was scanned, the sceond attempt was rejected because I didnt tick the correct box. The third because i didnt refernce a number i didn't even use. a complete waste of my time! DO NOT USE TALK TALK. Their customer service ppl where a nightmare without offering any solutions. Absolutely horrifying.

    It can't get worst then this. Got to prepare myself for exams and no Internet....on no correction it's shows that it's connected but the speed is soooo slow that it doesn't open any of Web pages...was told to wait for 10 days ....to improve the speed what a joke . .don't really understand what is it exactly I pay for....oh I guess a wage for all those usless people on the phone ....feeling so angry and powerless....

    I honestly can say this is the worst Internet EVER. I would probably have better Internet by living on Mars. They need to shape up or they going to go banqrupt. 600% sure that this Is the worst Internet and will never go back I hope they get destroyed by a asteroid impact or nuclear war because Internet this bad shouldn't exist
