I have NEVER had such bad customer service! To start everything off the engineer who came out to install it was hours late and the shouted at me down the phone because he left something in my flat! We then barely had internet go about a month (4gb when paying for 30) when we called to query this they made us upgrade to fibre which we did, they then cut us off! Every time I called to find out why no one gave me a straight answer, some one even told us that we were never with talk talk and had to set up a new account! In the end I asked to cancel as we had spent over a month without internet, I was told there was a charge because I had to give them 28 days to fix the issue! If you're thinking of switching to them DONT!

    Complaint to TalkTalk:

I received an email from yourselves last week, to which I responded and was promised a call-out to which I didn’t receive. I’ve received a telephone call this morning which involved me faffing about with rebooting broadband, unplugging the DSL filter, connecting to my phone, my laptop etc… I then said that we couldn’t connect to broadband whilst we were on the phone and the agent I spoke with didn’t even sound shocked. After advising this, the agent then contacted me via telephone, where she put me on hold for collectively, over 12 minutes….

After I stood my ground, refusing to faff about fixing your issue, she was then suddenly able to have someone call out to ourselves and fix the problem (a miracle!) But at a charge of course…£50 if it turns out the fault was mine - how would I be able to prove that it was not my fault? I can’t trust your company and ultimately, this prompted me to realise i’d like to cancel. The broadband fails to automatically connect to any device, it fails to allow us use to our broadband and phone at the same time, it fails to allow us to pause and play when we wish as you suggest. It just jumps about a bit.

The agent in the Claims Management department was most unhelpful, after numerous times of saying I wanted to cancel, she was persistently asking to send out someone, confirming I wanted a call-out…then confirming I didn’t. The fact this agent is a part of management is LAUGHABLE. dread to think what the standard advisors are like if this is how management speak to customers.

I advised her of the below speeds, to which she didn’t seem bothered that I was paying for way more than the speed I was receiving, I mentioned about upgrading the router / sending out a new router - this question was totally avoided. I’d also like to point out that 0 Data Protection checks were confirmed throughout the call…oh, apart from my address when she was sending an engineer out. The call initiated with ‘Am I speaking with Zoe Conning?’ - divulging information and potentially breaching this data to an unauthorised party.

I understand cancelling mid-contract comes at a price however, given the above download and upload speeds, you're failing to meet your criteria within the contract, therefore, I expect this fee to be at least discounted, if not wavered completely.

    Their website advises that:

    “Fibre:
    - If you are a customer taking the Fibre Medium service you will be charged £10 per month for every month left on your contract, in addition to the phone and broadband early termination charges.”

Therefore, the termination fee should be no more than £150 as that is what is left on my contract of 18 months, and regarding phone and broadband charges - could you please enlighten me to how much these are please? because it looks as though they are more than £150 each! - of which, I have not been advised about in any contract, or Terms & Conditions.

Another agent and I spoke via web chat on the 8th July 2018 who advised that because a technical fault had been logged today, which I have not actioned, therefore, someone has actioned something on my account, without my request or authorisation.

A copy of the above will also be sent to:

horrendous company - don't be fooled by these low prices!

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Such slow internet. Needed two new routers in the space of 6months. Which they charged me £40 for an enginer to confirm what i had already said about needing a new router. My internet on my phone works faster than talk talk wifi. Unfortuntely i’m stuck in a contract otherwise i would have left a year ago

i would not recommend talk talk to any one that's all iv had is trouble from the start i had some one come out to install my wi-fi box and land-line. i had it fitted about 3 weeks ago it has not worked since then, iv range up 9 times now and that all they done is pars me around done nothing about it then they had the cheek to take the money out of my account wen i have not even had no internet connection! i do not feel like they are doing anything about it. im so frustrated and angry i fell like im going around and around. iv asked to opp out of the contract because it hasn't been a month yet but no. pluses because i had some complication at the beginning on singing it up with talk talk the women i spoken to said. Id have a 10 credit on my account to cover my call but as you would guess talk talk do not stick to there word or contracts they have charged me for my calls!

Overall absolute rubbish, the broadband package i am on is Fibre 65, supposedly download speed of 65, i get around 30-32 which is slower than it was with Sky, who i was with last. And Talktalk TV, when i rang to go through setting up the TV box with them they refused to help as i had bought myself a box that records broadcasts (not just views them), and even though the box i bought was a Talk Talk box, branded and labelled Talk Talk they refused to help as it wasnt the box they had provided for me. I tried tuning the TV got 10 channels, they advertised around 80 channels, so not even bothered doing that, their tv reciever is sat its box waiting to go back once the contract is up! As soon as my contract is up i am leaving them and wont go back that's for sure

First few months where fine. Gradually Internet got slower and kept cutting out, I thought it was my laptop so bought a new one! Didn't work either since we have lapsed our contract Internet doesn't work half the time, phones struggle to connect on WiFi. We changed provider and I chose to live chat the talk talk team as the phone people annoy me and I could print the conversation, the man was really helpful, confirmed my account would be cancelled in a couple of weeks time, finished the live chat, Internet suddenly doesn't work at all on any device! Never again will we use talk talk, especially as we were warned against them in the first place, lesson learnt!!

I changed my package to super fast and it become worse . More than one device made the internet useless. Now they make me pay £240 for cancellation.
    Do not recommend this company.

Speeds are slow (on the lower end of what's advertised), generally reliable. However, the biggest issue with Talk Talk is their customer service. Agents, although generally very nice, have little to no power to actually help; every single enquiry will last at least an hour, often closer to two hours. They will take every opportunity to squeeze as much money from you as possible. They will try to charge you extra or extend your contract as much as possible. They don't expect you to notice or kick up a fuss and they will disregard their own terms and conditions if it means they can try to charge you for another month. We were their customers for almost 2 years. Never again

Never recommend a **** WiFi like this, talk talk as they advertise isn't that good.
In my previous address it was in coma situation meaning the speed however in my new address it is unfortunately dead.
So my advice never do a contract with talk talk as they are not providing a good WiFi plus a good customer service

Hi, I am not happy with service you provide, as then would like to terminate the contract with you. I have waited a month for the engineer to come to install the wifi which he didn't for some reasons and said we will send another engineer soon but it is been 2 week no one said anything. It is not even worth 1 start, wouldn't recommend for anyone, very poor
